Aion is a slender young man with slightly tanned skin and sharp angular features. His physique is sleek and toned, musculature that speaks of agility and speed than any great feats of strength. His hair is a dark violet and his eyes and even deeper shade to match. He's often in robes of tan and eggshell, occasionally white with underclothes of black and grey. He carries a small pouch strapped at his waist to carry his ninja tools and no other weapons to speak of in sight.|
Mental Profile:
Aion is a soft spoken serene young man. He usually has a polite smile for the stranger and does his best to present a well cultured young shinobi from Suna. His childhood lent itself to basic human decency and it is a lesson he learned well. To those who are closer they can count on dry acerbic wit layered under genuine concern. He's prone to teasing, and asking questions designed to lead someone to a conclusion, even if he doesn't know it himself. He's analytical by nature and sly by choice, preferring to play games that lead to the outcomes he desires rather than direct confrontation. In combat hes generally calm and focused. He prefers to manipulate the situation with tactical adjustments to assist in the strategies of his team.

Born in a small cluster of hovels known as Kaiyudo, Aion entered the world in poverty. No more than twelve families spread across ten domiciles, his home, not quite a village; but more than a simple ramshackle collection of huts survived by farming the mostly infertile plains of the edge of the land of fire.
Kaiyudo was a rough place. Aion's childhood, though tough was by no way grim. It was difficult yes, he worked from the time he could walk, fetching and carrying, doing what his little body could do. He wasn't anything special in that. Every child did the same. It was a severe life, but it was simple, and in that simplicity, a happy one.
Aion was raised in a community, buy a community. There he learned the 'we' is stronger than the 'I'. They shared what they had, because their was no other option to survive. He had a half dozen uncles, brothers, and sisters. It takes a village to raise a child, and their village raised every child.
Aion was a precocious child. His intelligence made him a favored for more delicate tasks. Rather than bullying or dislike this garnered more affection from his peers. It was an idyllic life. But nothing good ever really lasts.
When he was twelve a strange man arrived at their village. Tall and broad the man bore the symbol of Konohagakure no Sato etched on a silver nameplate laced around his waist. The man, Daiko, was a Shinobi, one of the Owl ANBU units of the village. His task he did not say, only that the village would host him for some time.
Aionspent much time following Miko around. For the first time in his life he shirked chores and responsibilities to question the Shinobi. He was in awe over Daiko, and even more so over the strange jutsu to wield the very earth of the plains. This was remarkable to the boy. For a people who toil at the mercy of the land one who could command them was revered.
Daiko, in turn was surprised at Aion's potential. The youth exhibited an affinity for jutsu and had a mind willing and ready to learn. Curious to his development and willing to encourage new blood into Konoha, Daiko put Aion through some basic exercises. The youth took to them.
Daiko spent two months in Kaiyudo, and at the end of it he invited Aion to Konohagakure no Sato to join the Academy. Aion considered the proposal as best his prepubescent mind could. In the end, despite the encouragement of his family he stayed in Kaiyudo. The many outweighed the one. With a heavy heart, the first for the young man, Aion watched the Konoha Shinobi leave.
A week later bandits attacked their village. A roaming band of marauders that plagued the outskirts of The Land of Fire. Brutal and intelligent, the bandits waited for the Konoha-nin to leave before launching their attack. Many of the men stood up for their families and their way of life. They fought, giving the women, children, and elderly time to flee. They had little to give in the first place, but what they did the bandits took. Those that resisted they killed. Aion, watched it all.
In the span of one terrible night Kaiyudo was destroyed. The refugees wanted to make their way to Konohagakure, but Aion vehemently opposed it. He blamed Konoha for their troubles, why didn't they protect them, why was the Shinobi even there. He convinced them to cross the border into Wind Country. The trek claimed a few more of the elderly and the young. Some of the infirm and the heartbroken simply lost the will to live. Less than a quarter of what was once Kaiyudo arrived in Suna. Aion and his mother were among them.
Aion went straight to the academy. The remnants of his village matriculated into Suna, finding assistance and stability through kind strangers and shrewd business minded individuals. He did well in the academy, possessing an innate talent they were happy to hone. he studied hard and progressed quickly. Working to master the tools of the Shinobi trade he pushed himself. A happenstance of blood buried in his family gave him a leg up, and he graduated in three short years, despite beginning late. Now a Genin he's hoping to stop what happened to his home from happening to anyone else. Deep in the back of his mind though lies the memory of that night. He works to put it behind him. But in the quiet moments of the night he comes back to that memory.[/spoilername]
