Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

His eyes were fixated upon a small object that was just shy of a normal man's body size within an opening in the cave. Both pupils were narrowed while darkness flowed around portions of his face like a encroaching mist clinging to the surface of dawn. He understood the primary nature of his training mission to be performing a stealth kill successfully upon the training dummy but the problem was that being that this was tasked by his Overseer, Oyochi was positive something was hidden as a trap. Tightening the muscles within his jawline, Oyochi's head swiveled within the dark shadows of the cave wall that he was semi-permeable in for a potential vantage point. There was without a doubt the notion that he would have to get within a closer range simply because his shadow manipulation itself was just now under his control and as such he had no real proficiency with controlling it, Placing his palms together, his fingertips would weave through the handseal combination rapidly causing his body to begin sinking into the very rock he clung to. It was now that there was an appreciation for his own talents in mastering certain jutsu as he had a natural skill when it came to doton based jutsu and as such it would truly help him in this case. Moving through the earth was something that required a finessed approach and photo-memory of the area, particularly because while within the rock he had no outside visual sense to rely on to pinpoint his location. Hair would slowly rise upwards through the rock as if it were made of water and before long the unique serpent eyes which Oyochi were born with once again regained their sensory function, once again capable of scanning the area. The distance between the training dummy and himself was now only a hundred feet or so, and luckily his position was right between the crevice of two large boulders. With his eyes being the only part of his head which was surfaced, the gaze held by his eyes was one of shear concentration as slithering within the darkened cavern was an extension of his shadow. It snaked it's way through the area, melding with other shadows as to prolong it's own reach and before long the chakra infused shade would begin wrapping around the base of the dummies support system. This initial grasp would split into three tendrils which resembled snakes made from the shadows which would immediately coil around the training dummies limbs, binding it in place. His eyes would once again submerge themselves beneath the rock and within a few seconds his body would rise from the earth behind the dummies back, the glimmer of a kunai knife shown within his palm before a simple horizontal cut pierced the area of the neck. With the assassination completed the trap placed by the Overseer was triggered immediately following physical contact with the dummy as behind Oyochi a sudden expulsion of smoke symbolic to summoning scrolls could be seen...

Oyochi's head turned quickly only to be met by the gaze of five copies of the overseer, each standing upon a certain elemental symbol that was sketched onto the parchment of an unrolled large summoning scroll. This small fact did not escape his observation however the clones did not remain stationary for more than a few seconds before their bodies instantly went into movement with the clone which was imbued with lightning struck out towards Oyochi first. An arc of lightning shot outwards from the clone's palm and as it reached the climax of his upwards trajectory, it's body would split into twin bolts. Staring at the incoming lightning, Oyochi's lips formed an uneasy smirk that hid his anxious demeanor while his right palm flowed through a quick handseal combination. His chakra escaped from his body and melded with the air around him manipulating it to swirl around his body as right before the lightning would have struck him, the swirling wind would burst outwards and divert the bolts outwards. Not sticking to that one spot, Oyochi's body shot upwards but his sixth sense coupled with his chakra sensing capabilities told him to instinctively glance downwards. As his eyes looked towards the ground he saw a clone perform a handseal combination which ended with the seal most notoriously used with fire jutsu. Widening his eyes slightly, his reflexive instinct already had his palms in motion before the clone shot forth multiple fireballs in his direction. While the first fireball missed it's mark the other two struck Oyochi squarely and exploded into burning embers filling the cave momentarily with light. While the smoke cleared, a mass landed upon the ground below the collision, still cloaked in thick smoke but before the clones could diverge onto it a compressed stream of water dispersed the smoke from the inside as well as struck the katon clone squarely, dispersing it. When the smoke finally settled, Oyochi was standing there with some of his clothes seared however his body was entirely soaked and the burns associated with fire jutsu were non-existent. He quickly realized that this situation was going to become to much for him eventually so bringing his palms together before any of the clones could react and attack, Oyochi weaved a series of one handed seals before inhaling. When he exhaled, a cloud of smoke mixed with ash was expelled outwards into the cavern opening and quickly filled it and reduced visibility to an extent. Unable to see him, the clones were unable to attack while equally Oyochi had the ability to sense chakra and that gave him the advantage....if he was still planning on fighting however. While the ash cloud was still filtering, Oyochi had once again melded with the rock and ground and quickly withdrew from the area...

Resting in a section of the cavern's ceiling, a cloak anbu figure had been observing the entire engagement before using a single handsign to disperse the remaining clones. "So, he has some talents in Suiton as well....I guess it is time to work on that as well as Raiton."<i></i>
