Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sunagakure no Sato had served as a great home to her in the Captain's visit here. Soku was in her living quarters that had been granted for the duration of her stay when she heard footsteps approaching the door. Assuming it was either Maki or Hoshirei, the other two shinobi Soku had traveled here with, she paid it no mind..well, not until some time had passed. Soku frowned quickly replaced by an raised eyebrow looking at the paper that had clearly been slid under the door. Covering the distance swiftly, she swooped down scanning the contents of the letter, her eyes shifting to look at the roof as she took in what was happening. "Gods, this is not happening."So, it had come to this. This would mean an immediate departure from the village. Quickly crossing the room, the female tossed what little necessary belongings she would need for the trip home into a small bag. Donning her black cloak and strapping her sword to her waist, she slung the bag onto her shoulder eyeing the letter one more time."You hang in there, Nibachi. I am coming home...home." The sudden exit would surely throw off her companions but she had no time. Pocketing the letter, the Captain left the building into the hot, sandy climate making her way to the peculiar illusionary wall that served as the entry and exit point for this great village.

Questions would be raised perhaps at why the female was leaving without her traveling party who still resided within the village but she was ready to negotiate her way out if need be. Soku was already fishing out her passport as she approached the checkpoint eyeing the wall with some apprhension. Surely, they would be more concerned about someone entering the village rather than exiting, it made the most logical sense. Shrugging, she decided to call out knowing that somewhere, some guard would be listening. Hopefully. "Hello the house! I seek exit from this wondrous village of yours!" Crossing her fingers, Soku waited praying silently as the contents of the letter still echoed through her head. "Hang in there, Nibachi, help is on the way...these damned rascals." She muttered to herself tapping her foot impatiently. Soku was half- set on just skipping this annoying paperwork and just steaming her way out of here but that would only create more issues. She was no good to Nibachi in that way. All he had to was hang in there...a bit longer. Her hand gripped the passport in her hand tightly staring out in the directon that she knew was Konohagakure.

"Hello the house! I seek exit from this wondrous village of yours!"

Almost at once, as if he had been waiting the entire time for the chance to receive somebody, Kaen would appear from the shadows. Or was it Ruin? It mattered not, this person would not know either of his alias', nor would they recognize him even if he were to remove the Sunan Anbu mask. "Documentation, please." Simple, straight forward. No underlying tones or that sort of thing. Just a dude doin his job. It was clear she was prepared and knew the general procedure for entering and exiting. It was relief in these recent days. So many foreigners entering without a clue, causing long lines to be put further behind schedule. Fortunately today seemed to be an easy day, the majority of any that might seek refuge had already arrived, and many were not in the habit of leaving due to the increasing Unbent issue.

[I'll keep it short for ya]

A figure seemed to loom out of the darkness causing Soku to inhale sharply. The mask clearly marked the shinobi as some sort of special caliber. If this village operated the way she thought, most probably ANBU. The person was simple and straight to the point. Silently, she thanked the gods for that, the Captain was in no mood for chit-chat at the present moment. "Here you go." She handed over the passport for his eyes to scan over. This was not the same person who had met them at the gates when they had entered Sunagakure, the mask was..different. Still, they were damned good at hiding whenever they wanted. As far as Soku could tell, the entrance to the village seemed literally deserted yet it seemed the guards just materialized out of nowhere. It was a fine trait to have in store. Right now, she needed to get home and quickly at that, whatever had transpired in her residence back home could not go unanwsered. Right now, her closest person she regarded as family needed her and so, she would go. "Is everything in order, I hope?"

The individual would promptly hand over their passport for inspection. Kaen would calmly take it from her outreached hand and inspect the most recent pages. He would then pull out a small black book and proceed to flip through a few pages. "Is everything in order, I hope?" The Sunan Anbu would be silent for a brief moment as he located the page he was looking for, double checking whether in fact they had entered legally in the first place. Finding what he needed he would hand the passport back with a reply.

"Yes, everything is fine. Just checking our logs. I must give you a word of caution though, if you truly intend on leaving our village. A dangerous threat roams our lands, be wary of the Unbent. They may appear humanoid in feature, but they are anything but. I wish you safe travels, stranger." If Soku had a reply he would listen. Either way he would soon walk back towards a small building used for the usual guards who safeguarded these gates, leaving her to exit without further issue.

Success. Her exit had been granted, no questions asked. She truly hadn't expected that much trouble but it was always relieving in a sense. Entering and exiting a village was always a stressful procedure, any slight violation could end you up in a bind of trouble. She raised an eyebrow at the mention of the Unbent. A foreign name to her but it seemed Suna was not without it's own problems."I will take note of these..Unbent. Many thanks for the warning and your hospitality. Until next time"If there even was going to be a next time. Soku wasn't sure when she was going to be visiting next but more pressing matters demanded her attention at the time. Recalling the contents of that fateful letter, she crossed out into the desert dunes taking one long look at the village known as Sunagakure. It would be a while before she saw civilization again. Her hand drifted over her sword making sure it was still there. The guard's cryptic warning still echoed in her head. Let them come, nothing would stand in the way of her and her goal, she needed to be home right now and she wasn't about to let some sand zombies or whatever they were get in her way.
