Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Backstory:
Seirika was born to a clan deeply rooted in shamanism and devoted to Iwagakure and The Circle of the Five. From a young age, it was apparent that she was gifted in the ways of spiritualism, so she was taught to harness that power and devote it to the benefit of her village. It was only natural that she became a full fledged shaman of Iwagakure without difficulty.

However, she was taught more; her family also served as the heads of a secret cult referred to as The Way of the Shadow. They were silent sentinels and merciless executors guided by their faith to the Old Gods. Just as her duty as a shaman dedicated her life to the care of her village by the care of its people, her oath as a shadow tasked her with watching out and judging any "anomalies" that threatened the balance of the world; demons, necromancers, those who possessed dark power, and so on. The shadows were trained not to be protectors, but murderers that stained themselves with blood for what they believed to be the greater good.

Seirika inherited the title of "Darkmoon Blade", head of The Way of the Shadow, when her parents (The previous heads) were killed by a Jinchuuriki, an attack that left Seirika and her younger brother (Shousuke) wounded. Her younger brother was corrupted by the dark energy, left with a frail body and sickly condition, and gradually began to change into the very sort of demonic anomaly that Seiri was tasked with eliminating. She turned her blade to her brother...

...But either her love was too strong or her will was too weak. She was unable to completely cast away her emotions, unable to sacrifice her brother. She vowed she would protect the village. But she would also protect her brother. She believed in her faith that by reaching Teleos, she would not only be able to restore her brother's condition, but also share that miracle with others who have suffered similar fates. Her wish was to rid the world of darkness.

However, unknown to the Shaman, Seirika herself was also infected by that very same attack. The dark energy that infected her brother also residing within her, slowly growing until the day it would manifest. Would Seiri's faith grant her some sort of resistance? Or would she also become that which she despised? Sparing her brother was one thing, but would she be able to spare herself?

Shousuke (NPC) - Younger Brother - ☆☆☆☆☆
Seirika: My kawaii little brother...I won't let anything else hurt him. I'll protect and save him; by overcoming this trail, I'll be a step closer to true faith. Shousuke, don't be scared! Onee-sama is always watching over you! ^///^

Iwagakure - Village - ☆☆☆☆☆
Seirika: This Village is my home, the place I'm sworn to protect. As a Shaman, it is my duty to tend to my neighbors using spiritual powers the Old Gods have gifted me. As the Darkmoon Blade, it is my duty to ensure nothing brings taint to our strong village. It is...difficult, and I don't know if I'll be recognized for it. But...thats irrelevant; the Old Gods are watching. My faith will be my resolve. The Stone will stand strong.
