Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had all started a few weeks ago. Steve’s soul came to Kazuki with a personal request. While alive, the Paragon of Patriotism had become famous because of the weapon it carried. More than a weapon, Captain America’s shield was as symbolic as the man that wielded it. The most iconic property of said shield was its unbreakable status. Something the Senju Overlord found out to be untrue when, after being asked to find the weapon, discovered it shattered and scattered inside a small Hydra outpost in the most extreme outskirts of the Wind Country. Recovering the pieces of the shield had been almost a menial task, considering how easy to dispatch those hydra goons had been. The most dangerous about that quest had been traversing that endless desert. Endless seas of sand, a scorching sun cooking one’s brain and melting them and the ever present menace presented by the sand worms. Luckily, the White Wolf was a crafty man and he avoided all that.

Once retrieved, Reaper knew he had to reforge the shield back into its prime glory, but he was not a smith. He had knowledge about those crafts, but he did not have any experience or skill with them. Seeking Aoshi, he sought to have the Craftsman of the Senju to repair what was broken. Unfortunately, as crafty and skilled as the Sunaku was, not even he could repair the unbreakable shield. Time after time, Aoshi failed. Fortunately though, the Sennin of Sunagakure eventually remembered of another soul he possessed. The soul of the greatest elven smith to ever born, Celembrimbor, the ring maker. Mixing his immense skill and elven magic, the elven smith eventually did what seemed to be impossible. He repaired what could not be broken into perfection again. In pristine condition the shield now was, seemingly perfect in every way. The Ranger Lord knew otherwise though. The shield had been broken before, something deemed impossible. There was no way to guarantee it would not happen again. What if the act of repairing it had weakened its mighty properties? To be certain the shield could be used in combat, testing was paramount. The Pale Rider needed to stress test the weapon and figure out if it was unbreakable again.

It was a sunny day. It was warm and there was a light breeze. Picking up the shield, Kazuki exited the village and went into the middle of the desert. Eventually he would find a secluded spot somewhere far from Sunagakure. Sand surrounded him and there was no one in sight, nor in proximity that he could sense. Using his affinity with wood, the Sennin conjured a rack of sorts where he placed the shield. It was time to start. Covering his right hand in hard rock, the Senju Overlord would punch the weapon with all his might. A clanging sound would echo as fist connected with the shield’s round surface. The stone that covered his hand would shatter, revealing his flesh. The weapon was in perfect condition. It had passed the first test. It would be hard for a human and, most kind of humanoids, to punch as hard as the White Wolf just did. If the shield could endure it, it should withstand everything else unharmed taijutsu could throw at it.

It was time to initiate stage 2. To strike the shield with other weapons and check for any effects on the weapon. Reaper would bring forth Frostmourne, his trusty sword, and he would repeatedly slash the vibranium shield. After several of those strikes, he stopped and assessed the situation. It was still intact and there were no signs of exterior damage. Feeling confident, the Sennin started a combo of several slashing techniques. Drops of sweat congregated on the Ranger Lord’s forehead as he strained his body. Eventually his efforts would cease and he would further assess the shield’s status. It had withstood everything without a single scratch. The Halfbreed had unleashed the most potent slashing techniques in his arsenal and the weapon had rebuked everything without suffering any damage. So far so good, but taijutsu was not the only thing that could and would hit the shield. Whoever that used it, would also defend himself from ninjutsu attacks. Kazuki’s forte. If there was anything that could potentially break it, perhaps ninjutsu was it. Sending his Frostmourne away, the White Wolf sat in the sand for a while to recover his breath and plan stage 3.

Stage 3 would then be a ninjutsu assault. If the vibranium shield could pass through it unflinchingly, then it would succeed the test and could be used safely. If it did not, then it would have to be stored away and never be used again. Getting back up, the Senju Overlord began his assault. He started by firing a medium fireball at it, that was quickly followed by a larger one and ended with one of the Fire Style’s most potent technique in existence. A quick study revealed the shield was harmless. Hot, but harmless. Reaper quickly followed by a barrage of lightning attacks that raised the hair on neck with the amount of electricity in the area. Again, the weapon passed with flying colors. The test was not over though. The water element had a few techniques that created drills. Drilling was a possible action that could break the shield. Conjuring as much as possible, the Sennin unleashed several drills and held them for as long as he could. As the water subsided into the deep recesses of the sandy floor, he studied the shield to find it intact and undamaged. After a deep breath, the Pale Rider further assaulted it with mighty earthen techniques that proved ineffective in crushing it. There seemed there was little else he could throw at the shield to test it. Genjutsu did not work on objects like a weapon was and the Rider of Death had unleashed his most potent techniques to no avail. Wind would be ineffective in testing, but Sand perhaps would have a chance. Kazuki would fire a jet of sand right at the center of the shield and he held it for minutes. Once he stopped he noted there were scratches all over the surface, but only the paint had been damaged, while the vibranium remained whole.

The shield had been restored to its prime glory. It was time to decide what to do with it.
