Medical techniques heal a wounded being rapidly, though the limit to their effectiveness is that they tend to require the user to make contact with the target, and remain in constant touch. However, it is possible with training to reduce the necessity of physical contact, and some shinobi are gifted with chakra control to be able to use medical techniques from a short distance away.
Information:
Prerequisites: Medical Knowledge, 150 Chakra Control, 4 Mastered Medical Jutsu
Effect:
- The user is able to cast Medical Jutsu using Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- All Medical Jutsu gain +1 Critical chance.
The most basic skill of a healer is their ability to successfully initiate treatment. Like Cancer, hepatitis, AIDS or herpes, without proper, timely and appropriate treatment, the condition will run rampant and cause permanent inconvenience, disability or even premature death. As such, the illusionist was a weak physical combatant and sought out learning opportunities that would allow her to overcome this shortcoming. Being blind from birth, she learned how to compensate for her disability from a young age. She was never the greatest student, it took her several years in an academic setting to complete her initial shinobi training, but external to the academic rigor she excelled in practical opportunities. Highly dependent on her ears and her mastery over sound, she used her bat-like birth-talent to guide her healing actions. It took years to perfect her skill, but she is now able to heal her allies using her ninjutsu skill in place of her taijutsu skill.

Concentrated Focus
Concentrated Focus
With a sharpened mind, a shinobi can strengthen the bonds used to restrain enemies.
Information
Prerequisites: C-Rank, 2 Bind Jutsu Mastered
Effect: The user's binds have a -5% chance of being escaped from and binds which break upon the user losing a portion of their Max HP or CP are now increased to 20% Max HP/CP.
Special Action - Tighter: Once per round, the user may attack the target of their own bind, allowing them to Auto-Hit with B-Rank and lower jutsu. The bind will still break once damage is dealt. This may only be done twice per battle.
RP
The Hashigaki's earliest practical shinobi experiences were in a clinical rather than a battle setting. She cared for the ailing, chronically ill, and injured. Her greatest difficulties were her geriatric patients. Grizzled war heros long past their prime suffered now with the long-term consequences of years of abuse, shattered psyches, and deterioration. It is not surprising that many grew violent with their progressing dementia or bitterness towards those still in the prime of their youth. Restraints were commonly required. Several medics lost limbs in the great spontaneous combustion incident last year where a pyromaniac set themselves and an entire hospital wing ablaze because he wanted vanilla pudding but got chocolate pudding instead. Thirty brave former shinobis and two medics died that day, their bodies nothing more than charred lumps that could not even be identified through dental records. It required a strong genjutsu that displayed a heavy downpour (specifically a shower, as in the bathroom kind) to terrify the hydrophobic into a psychosomatic paralysis to end the destruction. Ever since that day, it has been a training priority to not only master, but maintain said proficiency over binding techniques.

Deflection
Deflection
This ability allows you to deflect attacks aimed towards you, knocking them aside from causing harm.
Information
Prerequisites: D Rank
Effect:
- Partial hits upon the user are treated as misses. This does not overwrite effects which state partial hits are treated as full hits.
- Attacks which initially miss the user have a 10% chance of being deflected to a different target (does not stack with the previous note).
- Deflected attacks that target another victim are chosen at random and use the attacker's accuracy type with the user's accuracy secondary.
Special Action: For 1 AP, the user may choose to have a deflected attack target a victim of their choosing. This is done reflexively.
RP:
Shiori is good at avoiding things. More specifically, she is good at running away. While some shinobis attack an opponent head on, or more specifically they flail at their opponent until one of them is either incapable of battling or dead, Shiori enjoys keeping her limbs. She has grown quite fond of her body parts, she has had most of them her entire life, less a few improvements she has made over the years. Due to her disdain for injury, self-mutilation, and her propensity to remain alive and not a Dark Sage's plaything she has learned to avoid attacks. It was a strange approach as it differed from the reckless nature of many SunaNin but she discovered that if she moved out of the way of attacks, they would not hit her as often. Once in a while she even noticed that if she struck a projectile, it would be deflected in another direction and if she was lucky in the direction of an opponent.

Duelist
Duelist
A master of card battles and dice games, the user is undefeatable so long as they believe in the heart of the cards. A duel is an age old custom, extending back to the beginnings of modern combat. Those skilled in the exchange are well suited to fighting in one on one combat.
Information
Prerequisites: C Rank
Effect:
- +2 Accuracy/DC and +10% damage towards a single target. User must choose target at beginning of battle. Should the target be KO, or no longer in the battle, the user may choose another target. Targeting any other opponent (excluding clones) from the initial target will nullify this ability for the remainder of the battle.
- +10% chance to auto-dodge the targets attacks
- -2 Dodge/Save to any other opponents targeting the user
Notes:
- When choosing a target, the user must declare what type of Accuracy or DC buff they wish to receive. Either Melee, Range, Ninjutsu, or Gen. The type of buff remains constant as long as this ability is active.
- Clones are considered an extension of their owner and all above effects will still apply.
RP
She always believed in the heart of the cards. Whenever Yu-Gi-Oh... Wait, wrong series. Being the adopted daughter of the Takahashi clan, she was raised by their strict moral standards. One of these standards is that of honor. Ganging up on an opponent and then overwhelming them with a group's collective strength is frowned upon. As such, most of her fighting experience during her youth was combat against an individual opponent. This ended up being both a great asset as well as a weakness for her because she learned to concentrate on that single person at the expense of effective combat against her other opponent. "Duelist" is a reflection of her proficiency when fighting a single target as well as her lacking skill (represented as her core stats) against additional opponents. It is because of this that she prefers to take on a single combatant at a time, as not only honor suggests such a scheme but also she has a distinct fighting advantage when fighting a single opponent.

Shattered Reality
Shattered Reality
Proficient in the art of illusions, the user is able to ensnare their victims in their fabricated genjutsu, lowering their resistance and battle awareness to open up a weak point in their defense.
Information:
Prerequisites 80 Genjutsu, 100 Chakra Control, Must have 5 Genjutsu mastered
Effect:
- +10% damage against foes caught in a genjutsu by the user. This added damage is considered Illusionary, and cannot be reduced.
RP:
It is not the illusion but rather her song that ensnares her opponents in her illusion. Able to reach octaves that some would think untouchable and able to find harmony even with the clang of a sword, her voice places her opponents in a reality that is of her making. It would be nice if she was able to take a moment to brag about her innate skill, but her resultant talent is actually the product of years of practice. While the uses of this skill were often not practical, rather an idle form of amusement as she played with the other children and often attempted to create pranks. Some of the terrors she created for her amusement have become somewhat legendary among the children of Suna, such as the "sun scorpion" and "the grumbler."

While everyone possess a natural recuperation rate, recovering over time with rest, there exist many who tend to just...keep coming back for more, and don't learn when to give up. Persistent to the end, It is hard to keep those with this trait down for long before they spring back up, regardless of the injury.
Information:
Prerequisites: 50 Stamina
Effect:
The user regains 3% of their Max Hp each round.
RP
"Things just don't seem to hurt as much as they should." Or so her adopted father would always mention when training her in the yard. Although in her memory she would like to refer to him as a gentle man, that would be a fallacy. He was harsh, unforgiving and sometimes cruel. In many ways she was a disappointment, unable to graduate the academy in a timely manner and later learned to be blind, she was simply an embarrassment. "Tough Love" was a common excuse for the harsh reality she was faced. Left to brave the Raging Storms above ground as punishment for failure each year when she failed her examinations, she nearly died several times. Found each time by a kind enough ANBU who dragged her to safety or helped her find her way back through the chaos. The grinding sands made it impossible for her to do so independently. Despite her sometimes critical injuries, she healed rapidly and was soon able to return to the daily grind. As such, with each recovery it was mentioned once more: "Things just don't seem to hurt as much as they should."

Poison Resistance
Poison Resistance
A gruesome practice where the user first subjects themselves to various types of poisons willingly, strengthening their body's natural resistance and ability to fight off poisons at a later time.
Information:
Prerequisites: 130 Stamina
Effect: +3 to poison resistance rolls
It was not her fault. Not this time at the very least. Although it was on occasion her who readily consumed what she thought was chilled orange juice only to find it "rancid" and then suffer from a delirious reality for the next several hours, it was the purposeful poisonings by her mother that caused her true resistance. While some would call it Munchhausen by Proxy, it was not her mother's goal to garner attention for saving or caring for her ailing daughter, rather it was the excuse for her failures. In a shinobi village, being a member of a long-term Sunan clan demanded not only proficiency but a continuous state of being better. She was never better, only average for the most part and in times where her sight would have been necessary (such as in an academic setting), she was a complete failure. It was never her mother's intention to kill Shiori, nor was it her goal to better her in some way. Rather, it was her mother's intense hope that the "ailing condition" of her daughter would garner sympathy from the public and that Shiori's failures would be overlooked as her condition was more pressing than her lack of success.

Human Anatomy
Human Anatomy
Both assassins and doctors must know and understand the full workings of the body, whether to incapacitate quickly or to save a life.
Information
Prerequisites: C Rank
Effect:
- The user gains +1 Critical Range to all attacks.
- All critical hits deal 2.25x Damage. Additional Critical Damage does not stack with any other Critical attack damage buffs (Opportunist, Hawkeye, etc.).
RP
Have you ever hit your "funny bone"? It really is not very funny at all. The body has many funny parts. most of them are so small, obscure or difficult to locate that most go their entire lives without ever knowing them. In the medical profession this is often called "Referred Pain." This term signified that a person feels discomfort in a place besides the point of injury/impact. A common example of referred pain is the pain one feels in the left arm during a MI (or in cases of women who exhibit strangely it is often epigastric pain). Due to her training as a healthcare provider, Shiori understands these trigger points better than most.

Insight
Insight
Someone with insight can penetrate others' motives and are more skilled at detecting ambushes and surprise attacks.
Information
Prerequisite: D Rank
Effect:
- Hidden Actions are revealed to the user through PM.
- This does not apply to Genjutsu.
- In the case of Rikudo Sennin, this ability will have a chance at activating. This is (the amount of Paths with this ability in the battle) divided by (the amount of paths in the battle).
- So, a RS with 4 paths, 3 of which have Insight, would have a 3/4 chance of having Insight activate.
RP:
Shiori is in fact TERRIBLE at determining the true intentions of others. Unable to view facial tells, she relies on vocal changes and changes in the heart rate of those she distrusts. Often she is fooled and her insight never comes into play because when outside of a battle she is very trusting, a fact that has almost brought her to her ultimate demise several times. Despite this fact, when in battle she knows who her opponents are and she is able concentrate on them. She is able to see through many illusions (because she cannot see at all), she is able to listen for verbal or physical cues that act as tells and her sonar skill makes it difficult to hide things from her. It was because of this that she never got to be the "seeker" in hide-and-go-seek.

Jutsu Creator
Jutsu Creator
It takes many years of dedication and hard work to learn and master a jutsu. It takes a lifetime to create a unique jutsu. For those that hold that special gift, they can create jutsu at a far faster rate and even in the heat of a battle.
Information:
Prerequisites Ninjutsu stat of 200 or Taijutsu stat at 200, and a Chakra Control stat of 300. 4 Mastered Jutsu of the Element/Weapon type.
Effect:
- This technique allows the user to combine two techniques into one. Using it takes the highest ap being used +1ap.
- Damage is, 90% (higher ap jutsu) + 60% (other jutsu)Jutsu combo counts as one fluid move, not two separately
- Accuracy of the technique is averaged out between the two jutsu.
- This jutsu retains half of any associated effects or debuffs, from both Jutsu.
Cost: 90% of combined total cp cost.
Notes:
- This may only be done once per round.
- To use this ability with a Ninjutsu or Taijutsu, the user must have 200 in that stat and a Chakra Control stat of 300 as well.
- Ninjutsu cannot combine with Taijutsu. For Taijutsu, melee and ranged techniques may not be combined.
- Jutsu combined must be based on the same accuracy type (Melee/Ranged/Ninjutsu).
- This may only be used with offensive techniques. No buffing, no binds, no prepping the area for another attack, etc.
- This cannot be used with Genjutsu or Bl/CA/Kinjutsu techniques.
- When using the user must specify which jutsu goes first.
- Resulting jutsu receives buffs from both elements if the elements differ. However, this does not surpass the usual Buff Limit.
RP
Most people do not realize how difficult it is to make a Water Dragon Bullet when one has never seen a dragon. While no dragons in fact exist nor have they ever as the great book of Ryoma decreed, many were able to at the very least rely on pictorial representations of these glorious beasts. She never had that ability, nor was she ever able to make a Water Dragon Bullet. It looked more like a crippled cat with the legs of a horse and the tail of an ox. Her blindness did more than that, it made it difficult to learn new techniques because the resultant jutsu is more than the tangible result of a series of handseals, otherwise anyone could be a ninja. It had to do with concentration and chakra manipulation as well. It was because of the fact that she did not get all of the information on how to properly form various techniques that she learned her own "half-@$$ed versions" as her parents would put it. Sometimes the techniques would even get mixed together. With trial and error she discovered some "mixtures" which were better than the techniques she had learned and remembered how they were made.

- The user gains access to Medical Jutsu.
- This ability is automatically gained upon fulfilling the above requirements. Once gained, this ability permanently remains on the character.

Upon graduating the academy and joining the ranks of other Genins, it was obvious that she would need to find her place elsewhere. She was trained under Akanseawa Kana, an experienced medic. Under her tutelage she learned several healing techniques, obtained a rudimentary understanding of most medical theory and even developed some theories of her own. While many find interest in prosthetics or even the insertion of bloodline eyes although with such kinjutsus there was also the promise of vision. Her interest was with the mind – what makes it work, how people things, cope and perceive the world around them.
