Kai is standing at 4' 9" lb-france and at 88 lb franc. He has somewhat pale skin that is without scars or marks, although he isn't all that toned. He has light blue, soft hair that is styled spiky and is still kinda short, not keen to let it grow really long soon though. He has teal eyes that stand out from the more lighter colors of the outfit that he wears. Usually he wears this white/blue jacket over this long-sleeved white shirt with some grey pants. He prefers light and calm colors that match the clouds and sky because of where he’s from.
Personality:
Kai tends to be a quiet and kind person, but he does talk sometimes or when he feels he needs to. Usually he's a lighthearted person with him being happy and upbeat overall. Since he has been used to keeping to himself, he dreamed of going out and seeing the world. So he hoped to join the Academy and go out on missions, but recently he's fascinated with Ninjutsu and wants to learn more. He's willing to try things and to train his best. In battle he has this resolve because he knows what he has to do, and he will at least try to hold his own.
History:
Background
Kai’s light-hearted, cheerful, determined, and perhaps a little too ignorant. This all could be expected from somebody with his position. He grew up in the Cloud Village in a small family, just his mother and sister. His mother was a kunoichi once and now works as a florist in a flower shop. His mother and family on her side were users of the Ninjutsu elemental arts it seems. Kai himself would live comfortably and keep to himself for the most part. Then on his tenth birthday, he first decided to join the Academy and become a shinobi as well. With this, he has a new interest and wants to learn more about it. With compassion and some luck, he enjoys life and wants to help others in the ninja world. Who really knows what would happen; he was at the time still growing up and learning new things. He feels there's more for him to experience in this world. Luckily, he has his family to support him throughout his ninja studies that he looked forward to.
Academy Days
When he was admitted to the academy, he began to train and started discovering the elements while there. Fascinated with the elementalist side of Ninjutsu, he aspires to learn each base element. Soon he aqcuired a family heirloom staff laiden in gold and adorned with rings representing the elements for later use with a special composition - ninjutsu augmentation. It seems his elementalist arts may run in the family, maybe from a line of shinobi on his mother's side. He continued training and taking classes at the Academy he needed. From classes on signature moves to genjutsu and more, he has met a few other students and even ate out for lunch once
When not in class, he often spent his time helping his mother in her flower shop. While reluctant at first, the times he got to study and practice Ninjutsu in her old dojo/study room made it worthwhile. He enjoyed spent time in the study full of detailed books on Ninjutsu, and in the dojo practicing Ninjutsu and staff Taijutsu. The staffs had an affinity toward special composition - ninjutsu augmentation, bringing Ninjutsu into the Taijutsu. Once Kai figured out his budding affinity for Water, he was created and given an affinity staff of his own to use. It features several blue gems, a coiling water decoration, and two thin crescent shaped blades for slashing. A family tradition, his mother once had an earthen themed staff herself when she was a kunoichi. With his affinity as a starting point for learning the elements, he would keep on training until he was ready for the Genin Exam. Tasked with damaging the proctor he soon faced a new challenge in the proctor's Kyoujouran bloodline. With his new, first D-Rank jutsu Kai manage to fight through the exam and pass to Genin.
Genin (current)
Over time, Kai has been training use of his Ninjutsu harder during his ongoing fascination with it. Recently, he noticed he could mold chakra more easily and that he felt a surge of more chakra in him, but it is uncertain, oh so very uncertain. So he went to research it over at the library to find out more about it and the abilities that come with it. He was a Chakra Attuned ninja and the possibilities were plentiful, including the boost to his chakra pool and even a recharge ability to regain chakra slowly over time. Ultimately after he reaches the next rank, he would even be able to use his Ninjutsu for a smaller cost. Then he read about one of the more offensive jutsu, and he left the library and went home to the old dojo and he focused. He performed his normal Water Gun but pumped more chakra into the jutsu to increase the power output. It used up more chakra then usual but was definitely more damaging, and he would get used to it through the training. "Chakra Attuned with the Elements is going to be cool!" Such a fitting ability would work good with Ninjutsu. Even more, this would aide him in his Ninjutsu dream, coming full circle with the thing he was so fascinated with, his reason for being a shinobi. Discovering this gave him an admiration for this ability, if he can he'd train it to help even further with the elements! To be continued...
