Name: Shizuyama Hokori
Age: 8
Physical Description: Hokori is 4'2, 70lbs, slim, and pale. His eyes are a dull grey that always seem as if they are looking past you. His skin is rather smooth for living in such a harsh desert environment. His messy silver hair stands out among the common hair colors of the wind country. He usually wears a black tee shirt and a grey hoodie. His black plan pants go down to about his shins. His shoes are the standard issue open toe shinobi boots. He is never caught with out his half mask covering his nose and mouth.
Mental Description: Hokori seems like a calm, quite perfectionist who keeps to himself. He is difficult to read due to his mask and low amounts of expression. He is surprisingly cool under pressure, which makes him seem confident. He is unaware of how he is perceived. His true nature is that of a neurotic, and shy engineer. He seeks perfection which leads to over preparation and getting in his own head. He has the most fun when he is working on puppets. This is the only time you'll see a pleasant expression on his face.
History: Hokori was born to poverty. His parents gave him up for adoption very early in his life he barely remembers them. In his orphanage in Sungakure he lived a modest and simple life. He often took care of household chores such as cooking and cleaning from a young age. In his little free time he carved toys for those younger than him out of stone. When the orphanages circuit box went out, discovered he had a talent for breaking things apart and putting them back together. He spent all night tinkering with it until he found the broken part and repaired it. When the engineers came the next day they were amazed at his handiwork. It was quite impressive for a 6 year old. A few days later a prominent weapons engineer in Sunagakure, Shizuyama Godoru of Shizuyama productions limited, came to adopt him. Ever since he'd been training in the production and development of mechanized weapons. At age 8 he was encouraged to attend the academy to feel what it's like to be a part of the village's military.
Upon entering the academy he found a good use for his talents. The teachers sow him repairing the hinge of a door while on break and recommended he try out puppetry. At first he found it difficult to create the chakra threads required to manipulate them, but, eventually, he started to see the magnificence of puppets. They could carry the mechanized weapons he was so versed in, and they could also be customized to fit any role. At first, his adoptive father was wary of his budding love of puppetry, but overtime he saw it as a potential new market. The mechanized weapons that his company produced could be used in the puppets his son was dying to create. Then he could sell the puppets for an even greater price than the weapon or the puppet shell could be sold alone. Hokori was given a small workshop to create his puppets. While he still had to purchase the materials he needed and the weapons he wanted the space was more than any budding puppet master could ask for. Hokori currently lives out his days going to the academy by day and attempting to create the ultimate puppets at night. Maybe one day he'll succeed.
