Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

  • Earthen Barrier
    • Points: 3
    • All barriers that the user creates may receive the user's Earth Buffs to increase the barrier's HP. Earth based barriers are granted an additional +10% HP
  • Care of the Earth
    • Points: 3
    • When standing on the ground, the user gains back 5% of their max HP per round and exhaust a little slower. This does not work when held off the ground, in trees, in the upper stories of buildings, while swimming, etc. Regeneration becomes 6% when underground.
  • Titanic Strength
    • Points: 3
    • Melee damage multiplier is upped to 25% as long as the user is on the ground. This does not apply when held off the ground, in trees, in the upper stories of buildings, while swimming, etc
  • Wrath of Earth
    • Points: 2
    • For every .5 AP added to the cast of an Earth jutsu, the user adds 10% damage to it. This damage may bypass caps. May not add more than 3 AP this way. Can only be used once every other round. Attacks altered this way cannot critical and cannot be used as Called Shots.
  • Gaia Style
    • Points: 2
    • While active, user gains +20% Damage reduction but suffers -3 Dodge. Earthen Barrier gives an additional +10% HP to barriers.

    • +5% (+15%) Earth jutsu damage

    • Points: 2
    • The user gains +2 Awareness, and +2 to Gen Save against all Kinetic Genjutsu. User can see through Illusionary Clones.

It was a hot day on the Empty Mountains. Yochi had returned to the House of his family looking guidance from this grandfather in the art of Ninjutsu. Instead he the last week he was was taking endurance training on edges of Empty Mountains that made every inch of his body to ache. Probably the old man had nothing to offer and was trying to tire him out, until he would leave to Iwagakure again. This was the last exerciser of the day. Meditating on a rock in the middle of nowhere. The old man Nonuki said this was only way to find his calling in earth. But it was probably nothing, just losing his time. The fact that his grandfather tricked him again made him furious but he had to respect the old man. Yochi noticed something. His struggle to keep himself calm and his anger that wished be released made him feel like these powers inside him where fighting each other, but could be united.

“Ah, I see you noticed” said the voice of the old man from his rear.
It didn't surprise Yochi that Nonuki just appeared there but that he knew about what is happening.
“It seems like you found your calling from the Gaia!” continued.
“No, it can be. These are feeling of anger, earth must be mastered with serenity” answered Yochi.
“That's true. Anger that can't be controlled is a terrible thing. But if you embrace it and express it, like a time of need, then you have mastered your anger. Mother Earth has many faces. This is one of them. As herald we must accept them all. ” said the old man. “Try your self”.

Yochi raised and this frustration of all these days come out. His hands started to form a combination of earth and fire hand-seals and once finished he hit his palms on the ground. A warm feeling came to him. The shinobi could feel coming from the ground. Powerful, unstoppable. The brown earth started to take a darker color and soon reddish. A molten blast of lava appeared and fall against a rock and destroyed it.

That was the day Yochi learned that Earth can be silent and patient, but holds tools for a terrible revenge if needed.

Tracker:
The pack of Stone Shinobi was moving silently between the rocky area near the forest. In the head of the formation was Yochi working as Scout. Until now everything seemed quiet, too quiet for him. But even if time was pressing he had to watch out. A small detail would be enough information about how close the enemies are. Something got the edge of his eye. And there it was. A small hit on the trunk of a tree. Someone had stepped in this place. The enemies could be watching them moving right now. Yochi raised his fist to warn the others, and signaled them that the enemy was probably hiding around.

Clarity:
The battle was raging around. What started as a scouting mission ended up in a full skirmisher battle. Yochi with half of his fellow Shinobi manipulating with earth jutsu the place to assist in the battle. But even if the battle was heat up, Yochi was sure he could hear a sound. It sounded ethereal, a song of the spirits beyond this world. On the other side of the battlefield, the young Shinobi could see the form of a woman. She was holding a flute and even if they had distance and there were strong sounds surrounding them, he could hear clearly her song. The woman was even closer, and there were many copies of her. Yochi felt unsure were to look for a moment. Something was wrong. If the song was majestic, it was the whisper of the earth that warned him. These idols were fake. This song was trying to weaken his will. But such tricks are not working on the sons of Iwagakure.

Jutsu Expansion

Yochi was had just snapped out of the Genjutsu of the enemy and turned his focus on the battlefield. Part of the forest was on fire, bodies and parts were spread left and part. The air had a strong smell of smoke. The shinobi noticed that it was one of the enemies that used Fire jutsu against them. The enemy warrior started to perform a long series of handseals. Yochi could recognized the jutsu. If his teammates were hit by it, this would be their end. The young shinobi dashed through the battlefield and towards the Stone shinobi, reading his jutsu. This was a do or fail situation, and with failing they would perish. Yochi struck his palms in the ground and left a strong cry. He had to place all his ability in this move, for the sake of his teammates, for the same of Iwagakure. Three monstrous walls were summoned, blocking the red fire that the enemy casted against them.

Jutsu Mastery

The barriers broke. As the red stones were falling on the ground. Yochi could see the figures behind it. It was time to face the enemy head to head. The shinobi smirked with excitement as the adrenaline was raising up. The area was still covered by a thin cloud of dust. From the enemy side a volley of fireballs flew against the shinobi of Stone. Yochi dodge to the side and started to perform handseals. Around the Katon user numerous spikes started raise from the ground hitting him, ending up entrapping him between the spikes. A strong fire destroyed the spikes. The enemy covered in flames seemed like a hellish fiend that came to earth. Yochi knew that this would be their final attack. Both of them started a long series of handseals and prepared their attack. A stream of fire came out of the Katon user, while Yochi send a river of earth. As they clashed, their power seemed equal. The Iwagakure shinobi couldn't believe that this was his cap of power. The young shinobi focused his will, and let his chakra flow in the ground. Taking better control over his jutsu Yochi did his best to empower his jutsu. The river of earth overpower the fire striking to the chest of the enemy shinobi throwing him to the ground. An other enemy was down.

Duelist

Yochi only was able to brace himself, as a hulking enemy tackled him driving him inside the burning forest. The young man could feel that he had lost his breath, and the finishing impact of that tackle would really hurt. The man landed Yochi on his back. The enemy raised himself ready to smash the Iwagakure Shinobi on the ground with his fist. Yochi reacted with a series of handseals. A block of earth hit the hulking man in the chest, giving enough time for the Stone warrior to raise on his feet. Yochi looked around. They were alone. Them and the some burning trees. The Stone Shinobi had noticed this rogue shinobi from the beginning of this fight. It was time to show how realy shinobi fight.

Healing Factor

The hulking man roared with a voice strong as a beast and charged against the Stone Shinobi. A furry of blows started to fly towards Yochi. The young man started to defend himself. But many attacks were too strong for him to block or stop. It was after few hits the defence of Yochi started to break. The rogue could see it and continued to press until the young man fall on the ground. He smirked, and then he started to laugh, believing that this was all the Stone Shinobi had to offer. One more hit and he would be victorious. Yochi laid on his back. He gently took a bit of earth in his hand. After that he raised, surprising his enemy. Yochi smirked to the hulking bandit. As long as the earth was protecting him, this fight wouldn't be end that soon.

Fearless

The Shinobi looked at his enemy and took his fighting stance. This fight wasn't over by a long shot. The bandit inhaled deeply from rage and frustration. It was obvious he was using his patience. The enemy started his attack with a big swing, slow enough to be easy to dodge. The hulking man continued his attack but instead it landed on a tree breaking it down. Then he started again an other furry of blows. Yochi managed to block a couple until one hit him solid on the chest. It was a hit meant to break bones. And probably it would kill most of normal people. But Yochi only smirked to his opponent. The Heralds of Earth, the one born by Earth, weren't that easy to defeat. As strong as a rock, Yochi stand there, able to take even the strongest of the enemy hits. It was time for his counter attack.

Bull's Strength

The last hit of the hulking bandit was actually strong. It managed to push him back a bit. Both of them were breathing heavy. It seemed that they were both in their limits. But this fight had to finish. Only one of them could leave alive. Gathering the last strength he had reaming the Rouge attempted to land a final strike against the Stone Shinobi. Yochi breathed in and summoned the earth to his aid. The shinobi raised his hand and stopped the fist of the hulking man. It was the combined power of Yochi and Gaia that helped him to overpower the enemy. The Stone shinobi could see the desperation in the eyes of his enemies. But this was a war. Yochi drew his sword, and raised his weapon. The sword moved downwards and then there was the sound of a head hitting the ground.

Fix some things before I approve this, please:
  • Your CA is Earthborn, not Shadow Boxer.
  • Painful Illusions is a part of the Shadow Boxer tree. Removing this, assuming Stone Tomb is mastered, is 20 points.

Earth approved as Major.
Fire approved as Minor.
Lava approved as Advanced Element.

All abilities approved.
