The school was ablaze, red hot flames licked the walls and climbed along the ceiling. This searing hot inferno would be enough to choke the life from those who remained if they stayed much longer. Suke shook Tomi's shoulders and tried to rouse her but she would not move, battered and bruised she was still breathing but only barely.
"I told you this was a bad plan," he muttered
"but I will get you out of here." A promise he was unlikely to keep as he deftly ran his hands through an array of handseals with a speed and proficiency likely new to the young girl. Suke's mouth opened and a burst of flames released as if by a flamethrower.
Zuke let out a sigh,
"You're such a dam pussy, Suke."
"Fuck you knuckles," he griped.
"No thanks, busy." The boards below Zuke's feet cracked as he dashed in the direction of the lone standing target.
"Some people just do not know when to die," he tried to blind her so that he could push her into the flames. He was almost successful but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Electricity sparked from Teke's fingertips as she unleashed a storm. Suke was grossly unprepared and fell to his knees upon the third bolt, his body convulsing despite his loss of consciousness. Zuke, on the other hand, was faster and he was able to evade one of the attacks leaving him on the last vestiges of his own strength as the lightning curled around and came after him. he tried to outrun it. He
tried but he was not fast enough. The last bolt struck him square in the back and he fell into the fire.
