There was something about the Hokage mansion that always succeeded in amazing the little Uchiha lass. Perhaps it was courtesy of the fact that it was the place where the greatest and most important shinobi of the village dwelled, but just as amazing was the fact that among them was her very own 'Mama'. Yes indeed, the little Akari her adoptive mother had her hard work recognized by her peers and at long last she had received the very seat an amazing mom like her deserved. Of course with that came a fair share of difficulties and responsibilities. Now that Asuka was the leader of the village it meant the future and prosperity of the village was her responsibility, the people of Konoha were relying on her!
However, Akari knew that her mother was not fighting this battle all by herself: No, she was aided by trustworthy friends and allies, and surely the powerful Sennin of the village would aid her as well right? But that didn't mean they could do the things Akari could! Indeed, there were some things only the little red-haired lass could do. Humming happily as she marched up to the Hokage mansion carrying a basket that had its contents concealed by a small picnic blanket, the guards who recognized the child approached the girl, one of them inquiring with a smile. "What do you have there Akari-chan?" The guard inquired, to which Akari raised the basket lightly, bringing one hand to her mouth as she pressed a finger before her lips. "Shh, I'm on a secret mission for Mama~ I made some delicious sandwiches for her~" The guard couldn't help but stiffle a soft laugh at those words. "Hokage-sama is currently out on a brief meeting, but she should be back soon, why don't you go ahead and wait for her in her office? I'm sure she will appreciate the surprise."
A great idea! Akari nodded her head firmly as she thanked the guard for the idea and walked inside the office. As usual the staircases did no poor job at testing the girl's resolve as she climbed one after another, passing rooms and offices of other people working for the Hokage and the village when finally she arrived at her destination: The Hokage's very own office.
Opening the door on the barest of openings the girl peeked inside and whispered softly. "Sorry for the intrusion~" And then sneaked her way inside, holding the picnic basket close to her chest. After she reached the desk where her mother was often seated for her work the girl placed the basket on top of it, carefully spreading the blanket onto the table and proceeded to do her utmost to decorate the plate she brought along with the various little treats she brought along. Certainly, it was not a star chef's cuisine, but the sheer affection displayed in the dishes was evident, even a small bottle of apple juice, Akari's favorite drink was left among the sandwiches and a little note that read: "Ganbatte Asuka-mama!" And satisfied with the surprise she had prepared the child proceeded to climb onto the chair, waiting to hear the sound of footsteps so she could go and hide but...

After several minutes the girl had already dozed off into a peaceful slumber!
