Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Requesting Akujin.

Sora had been wandering around the Academy grounds, for a while before he found the offices, 'well finally'
He had been instructed to find a proper attire and go enroll at the academy when he arrived at the city. after spending almost half a day wandering the shop streets, he decided that he might as well go all in, he could not find anything to fit his size anyway. so he found a tailor, and handed him his wallet. being not used to paying, more like hunting and making his own food. he did not know what expensive was. and he did not know that he was well of for starters.
the tailor just oogled the money and, asked, if he was going to use all that on his clothed. Sora just told him to make a few pairs he could change between. and they had to be able to withstand use. the tailor did as told. and Sora was now in a fine suit, probably not meant for ninja work, but the tailor had done a fine job, making the suit easy to move in, only the buttons in front would limit his movement a bit if they were closed.

he told the receptionist that he were to enroll and he told to find a seat, he was lucky that they had something else than just chairs, since they looked a bit like tinder, and probably could not support his weight. well he were not going to test it at least. he positioned himself in a sofa, looking a bit out of place, waiting for the official to call him in, so he could be enrolled.
while waiting he was offered some coffee, but after breaking the cup while being careful not to, he was handed a metal mug, and managed to only make it slightly disfigured.

Another day, another assignment at the Academy. A few days earlier he was teaching a class of five students who all seemed to be bright, young, and prosperous candidates for shinobi-hood if they put their heart and soul into every training, every paper, and every lesson that was presented to them. He knew just by watching them that they were all unique in their own ways and they would definitely face different hardships from learning to play their instrument better to channel chakra through it easier to pinpointing exactly where they wanted to use their attack along with defending themselves. Hopefully, most of them would return for another lesson taught by yours truly after a minor break to work on their skills as they currently stand. Would the next lesson be on something basic like the clone jutsu or taijutsu? Would it be branch-specific like the medic healing techniques? Nobody really knew and neither did Kyuji at this point considering he had more pressing matters on his plate like his pregnant wife, his marriage, and his other job-specific jobs in the Byakko Infirmary and hospital.

However, today he was tasked with paperwork approving the new students that were eager to enter the academy and begin their learning to become a shinobi. So far, it was going quite well aside from many candidates were missing information on their sheets or their parents had tried to enroll them too early into the academy. In other words, the registration sheets were mainly being discarded into his denied file, but there was the occasional kid that fit their criteria and had their information in place that could be approved. The hours were slipping away quickly sadly as it was already mid-morning and the descendant of Byakko was already growing tired from reading all these applications and developing a slight headache from straining his eyes in his office. But like a stroke of luck, the receptionist at the front desk had strolled back and told him that there was a man that wanted to join the academy and it was probably best to head out to him. Shrugging like he routinely did, he got up and stretched his body for a few moments to send blood circulation throughout his body again before strolling out behind the receptionist and being pointed at the man that was laying on the sofa in the front lobby that was usually for families to sit together. "Quite peculiar that a man would want to join the academy, but I suppose it isn't unheard of." he thought as he made his way over to the man bearing his white medical robes that displayed the village's emblem on the left sleeve and his clan's emblem on the right sleeve. Nobody could see under his robe, but he was wearing a blue dress shirt, black jeans, and a golden belt the same one that use to bare his former religion's emblem on it. His shoes were black and had white laces on them if you could see them.

Once he was near the man he would extend his arm to the muscular and tall individual and make his traditional introduction with a smile on his face: "Good morning and welcome to the academy! I hope I didn't make you wait too long. My name is Byakko Kyuji and I am one of the teachers of this institution along with a jounin-ranked medical shinobi at the hospital and the Byakko Infirmary which I run. Please introduce yourself to me and tell me why you are interested in joining the academy!"

An official eventually came, but Sora did not have to wait for as long as he thought he would. the official was a mednin, his clothes definitely told so, he introduced himself as a teacher and told about his duties.

"please introduce yourself to me and tell me why you are interested in joining the academy!"

Sora Stood up as he was greeted, and returned the shake with his own, the teacher was smaller than him, but not as small as most people. probably one of those that were used to being the 'tall one', thereby being uncomfortable around one this much taller than themselves, but Sora could not know, he just figured.

"My name is Sora, of the Desert tribe of Yamaryuu, I believe that my clan has a standing agreement with the academy, to let our strongest enter when they are finished. I was here around 2 years ago, to receive the instructions that went beyond my clans, witch includes fighting and survival, nothing more. I have now finished this secondary trial and have been told to enroll to serve Sunagakure and become worthy of carrying my name.
I have been told that my fighting capabilities should be on par with your low rank shinobies, A gift of my clan's way of raising, but I cannot join their ranks before I have taken the exam. That is why I am here now."

Sora would hand Kyuji the papers for enrollment, with all this personal info, age(16), relation(the clan none in suna), and the necessary stamps of his clan, the academy's from years past when he was send on, only missing was the approval for full enrollment and and approval for Genin exam.

His hand would be met with a much wider and stronger shake as he would smile at the taller man as the pressure intensified in the grip before finally being released. The "man" would hand Kyuji his paperwork after properly introducing himself to Kyuji which the much taller man would nod to him as he would begin to look at the paperwork. The paperwork was filled out entirely and it was correctly answered for each individual question. However, Kyuji would look at the man with a questioning look when he wrote down that he was only sixteen years old. "Sixteen years old and that tall? There is no way that he is that tall and telling the true about his age, but he is being polite and respectful to me so that is saying something. Maybe he was an earlier bloomer or he was held back from enrolling, it isn't my spot to judge." he thought as he would place the paperwork on the receptionist's desk and tell her to take it to his room so that he could properly file it after he did an examination of the man.

He would return to Sora moments later and say with a smirk on his face: "Your paperwork is filled out correctly and I will file it properly after we chat a little. So, you are sixteen according to your enrollment papers. Why did you wait so long to join the Academy? It had something to do with your clan didn't it? I mean if you want to enroll, I am not going to stop you, but it is just weird for someone of your age to just be enrolling into the academy since many people are Genin or Chunnin at this point." He would then fold his arms and take a breath before continuing: "Do you know the basic jutsu? That would be Transformation and Body Switch? Do you know any other jutsu? This is just to engage your previous training and place you into the best class for you!"

"Yes as I said, my clan is focused on battle powers and therefore we have not much education for the society, I have therefore participated in a trial for learning this particular skillset, this has delayed my enrollment to this point."As the teacher asked for the basic jutsus Soras face would change to a more thoughtful expression.
"Transformation and Body Switch? Why would they be basic jutsu's, is it not basic to kill your opponent rather than hide?"
his face would then change to a more stoic expression
"I am of the Yamaryuu, descendants of the Kyoujouran, we do not hide, we stand our ground, and we hit decisively, I can provide you with a list of the techniques I have mastered if you need it?

As he stood there listening, his smirk would escape his face as he tried to properly digest the information that was being fed to him and trying to conjure up the proper response. It appeared the kid was being sincere and he really did not know the basic jutsu needed by a shinobi by the way that he addressed his response to the question. The response was quite concerning to a normal person, but Kyuji brushed it off like it was nothing as he began to pace slightly trying to factor in the information that he had just received. He had experience based on his physical form and he seemed to be seasoned fighting, but there was no way he could just skip the academy and be promoted to Genin. Kyuji wouldn't allow it.

Shaking his head and mouthing words to himself, he would look at the boy and smile once again. He would extend his hand to the kid and say: "Sora, welcome to the Academy! I will make sure your paperwork is approved and you will be informed when your first class is. We are running low on instructors so bare with us as we conjure that hurdle. Alas, welcome to the Academy! You may leave now, but certainly will return." After they shook hands, he would take the paperwork back to his office and read through it once more before filing it into the approved list. That Sora kid was going to have a bright future ahead of him, Kyuji could just tell.

The official paced back and forth, letting Sora for a second there think, what if he did not get accepted, he had after all used a lot of time learning the social skills. was it too much?

this was brougt to shame as the teacher looked at ham smiling, extending his hand for another handshake. Sora would meet it.

"Sora, welcome to the Academy! I will make sure your paperwork is approved and you will be informed when your first class is. We are running low on instructors so bare with us as we conjure that hurdle. Alas, welcome to the Academy! You may leave now, but certainly will return."

"th-thank you sir." sora nodded his head as he shaked the teachers hand. finally he could make himself earn the name he was carrying.
He watched for a second the official walking off, before he turned back to the secretary at the desk, leaning down placing both hands on the desk, the wood creaked from the weight of is upper body, Sora smiled down to the secretary, a wolfish smile, he was in a good mood.

"where do I sign up for a class?"
