Behind the heavy tint of his goggles, Hosuto's eyes never once left a spry young boy who walked uninhibited with the usual bustling traffic of individuals going to and from the street markets. He'd been keeping tabs on the boy since he first left the confines of his home and had been shadowing the child for the past two days. While this mission was technically an escort mission to get to the bottom of the boy's bullying problem, he had tailed the childs every movements in a gambit to understand what made the boy a particular target as well as if he exposed himself to his potential bullies in a way that attracted them at certain times. The kid had a routine which was something Hosuto caught onto after the second day of observation, where he would walk the same paths straight there and back with no side-trips. This had resulted in no confrontation however today was different, as the boy made a stop at a sweets stall, purchasing an order of dangos before continuing his trip to the market. While there was no reason to take mental note of this stop, it did slip into his mind that the boy didn't make the stop two days prior when he didn't have the money from his mother to purchase whatever household goods were needed for the next week.
Hosuto would stop as the boy was soon after approached by two male teens, one whom Hosuto recognized as having been near the Dango stall. While the conversation was inaudible, he tilted his head slightly as the shimmer of the sunlight against a kunai caught his attention that was present in one of the teen's hands. It wasn't quickly after that the two would herd the boy into a side alley and Hosuto's body calmly seeped into the shadows of the nearby building. His appearance on the edge of a rooftop overlooking the alley went un-noticed as the group of boys were busy pushing the child around while demanding his belongings. Sliding his fingertip against the lens of his goggles, he adjusted them slightly before blurring from his present location and suddenly appearing between the group and the exit to the alleyway.
"Let the child be, the village does not overlook even the smallest infraction against their citizens.."
One of the boys snarked at hosuto's comment, something that was to be expected considering they were around the same age as Hosuto and he didn't have any physical insignia that screamed he was even a shinobi. Naturally without proof that he was trained as one of the village's shinobi, the boys who otherwise would have the upper hand in both numbers and a weapon brushed off Hosuto's words but instead turned their attention at him. They saw him as a street kid who simply was playing the role of vigilante and rushed him. He personally didn't move from where he stood, but formed a sequence of handseals that made the boys suddenly stop their charge. Holding the last seal, his gaze momentarily shifted to the child whom he was charged with escorting before lowering his palms. Nothing happened and the boys naturally challenged if Hosuto was being serious or if he was just pretending to be a shinobi. To this, Hosuto raised his right palm, his thumb and middle-finger pressed together, and would snap his finger. At that moment each boy's eyes would widen as their bodies fell to the floor, leaving them groaning in sudden pain. He watched unmoved at each boy's suffering, their faces as pain coursed through their bodies from an unknown origin.
"I am charged with this boy's safety, if you are caught bullying and stealing from him or anyone else within this village the next time you come across me....it will be far more severe."
He remained unmoved even after the boy who was the target of this groups bullying gathered up his things and thanked Hosuto, before running off. Turning his back to the incapacitated boys, Hosuto would end the sense manipulation he had inflicted on the teens before suddenly blurring out of their line of sight.
