Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It appeared that the intervillage examinations were finally underway in Wind Country as the significant increase in tourism in Soon's Haven recently had all but vanished. There were still the typical buyers and sellers in the marketplace, but the economic impact due to the examinations had subsided. However, the merchants couldn't be terribly upset that their business had slowed down in recent days considering many of them saw their riches increase tenfold. The Soon’s Haven that was always a corrupt and dirty place of business was seemingly increase in status with being one of the main attractions of the exams probably due to the Daimyo’s working, but also because fellow villagers were telling their foreign friends and their families about their county’s ideal areas to visit. Soon’s Haven was one of those ideal places if you loved to shop.

However, that was not why some people like the Sand shinobi were here. No, some shinobi were actually in this region of the country because they felt obligated to protect the country and to ensure a safe transition for the foreigner shinobi and their civilians while visiting the Wind Country. It was a reasonable action for many of the shinobi of the Sunagakure to be weary and cautious with foreigners in their country. First and foremost, the government running their country was corrupt if they were willing to send a group of barbaric terrorists to their own shinobi village and start a civil war that ended with some of the group escaping, others being imprisoned, and others trading sides to align with the village. It also left numerous causalities to the village and people were still suffer to this day from those attacks as more and more people were being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder due to the events. It also wasn’t helping that the foreigners would pin anything going sour on the shinobi of Wind Country and not on the government. The other reason for being weary and cautious was the foreigners were obviously not native to the country and their actions, attitudes, and thoughts could corrupt the population of Wind Country along with starting an international conflict if bad blood was spilled in the streets between different countries’ shinobi. All in all, these exams were not ideal for the country or the shinobi that protected the country.

As for our little descendant of Byakko, the demigod was walking through the streets of Soon’s Haven like he had been doing routinely since catching wind of the intervillage examinations’ occurrence. In actuality, he should have been focusing on his family and his medical branch, but keeping some of the more populated areas safe was somewhat part of the job description or at least it was going to be for now. See, the Byakko worshipper was a committed individual in everything he did in his life and protecting the village with his life as a commitment that he would be ever in debt for since Sunagakure had given him a place to stay and live when he had to flee from his home country due to an outside force attacking. He still felt like a coward for leaving his friends and former village behind, but he was making up for it now in Wind Country. How was he making it up? Well, he was the head of the medical council and he was working to become the Medical Sennin and Headmaster of the Academy. His meeting with Lord Sousuke was scheduled for a few days from now and he was going to be as prepared as he ever would be.

Currently, the man had ordered an ice cream and was sitting on a bench at the outskirts of the marketplace taking in the ever, beautiful desert wasteland that covered a majority of the country. It was such a beautiful sight that he had contemplated making sand angels all the time while the dry, humid air blew on his face and heat cooked him like a delicious lobster. He just loved the deserts of Wind Country so much with their easy access to poisonous creatures that wanted to play with you and show you their toys along with sandworms that were dying to see you so you could pet them and make them purr like a kitty. Oh, what a life living in a desert must be!
