Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was dawn when she crested the hill and saw Soons Haven. The massive walls were a most welcomed sight, for the past week all she saw were the smooth rock formations that jutted from the earth and the crystal-like sand that seemed inky black during the nocturne and blindingly white during the day. It was one of the many great curiosities of Wind Country, the fulgurite that dusted the desert. It told a terrible tale of betrayal that she wished she could forget, but much like all things she knew, she would remember her part in many great trespasses until the day she died. It was her plight and her scarlet letter to bear.

She was not alone, there was something behind her. It towered over her and appeared rather intimidating it it was not for the heavy, rusted and corroded chains that pinned its arms and guns to its sides. Its lumbering bipedal gate and massive curved shield attached to it back suggested that this creature was a warrior, which was true in part. This creature, reminiscent of an anthropomorphized sea turtle was in fact a combatant created by intuitive, brilliant minds centuries earlier. She had read about these creatures briefly, they were a creation by one of the lesser courts -- The Court of Creation, a demiurgic court that empathized learning, growth, advancement and the assumption that everything can be made 'better' given time, thought and effort. Their caviling and curiosity would be their downfall, rather than expand their numbers and become formidable forces with their superior intellect they preferred the solidarity of their work and were pushed out when the greater courts warred for territory. Their powerful creations fell into the hands of the Solar and Flame Court. This creature was not particularly useful, it lacked the power to be a true threat to anyone with an iota of combat training but to a civilian it could be quite dangerous according to antediluvian accounts she once read. During Ancient times these mechanizations were not weapons, they were entertainers.

Humans were often used as gladiators in an era before chakra manipulation was truly understood by mankind. It sated the bloodlust of the Flame Court but it lacked the sensationalism these creations could provide. They were never as popular as human combatants but they were considered a novel form of entertainment by some of the less bloody Courts such as Solar and Earth as well as a number of lesser Courts. Most Courts had some of these 'creations' the Ancients termed "lusus naturae" for their large animal-like appearances and others jokingly claiming these machines were supernatural creatures to the chagrin of their Creator Court makers. Despite the passage of years, they still retained value in terms of 'entertainment' for those that enjoyed such things and they lacked the risk many of the artifacts hidden just feet beneath the desert's arid surface. The sum she would earn from this lusus naturae would be substantial and what better place to find a buyer than the largest marketplace in the country.

With a tug of the chain, she beckoned the creation to stomp forward.

She was entering Soons Haven with something old but also very new.
