Being covered in dirt, twigs and leaves he was foolishly mistaken as a actual wolf cub. An arrow piercing through his back and out his lower abdominal area. Turning to his attackers, as little blood seemed to come out of the small boy. His skin as thick as leather, with large calluses on his hands and feet. Luckily for him the arrow seemed to miss any vital organs, not that he would care. Akuma let out a loud roar, snapping the part of the arrow sticking out of his front before charging in with his pact. Ripping and tearing through these would be poachers, tearing his muscles in the fight to move faster, hit harder or bite stronger. The bandits where not useless however, as shocked as they were in the beginning they managed to kill off a few of the wolves before attempting to flee. Akuma and the pact worked in harmony as when Akuma charged the people who left running, his brothers and sisters rounded the group cutting off their escape. Leaving nothing but a bloody mess, staining the earth and covering the leaves. Making sure that these hairless freaks knew the mistakes they had made before leaving them to be worm food. Not even using their mangled corpses for simple sustenance they just went around the saturated soil and mourned over the loss of the members of their family.

But it was this Old man, whom was named Kata that took his training and molded the saveage boy into a living weapon. One who the Hidden Leaf Village would be proud to have amungst their ranks. Kata trained Akuma in the way of the sword and unarmed martial combat, using his natural strengths rather than attempting to teach him how to use genjutsu or ninjutsu. Quickly a sword became just another extension of his arm, taking years; even while he was in the academy but he eventually mastered this shimmering slashing tool of death.
Understanding how to wield the blade or how well his martial prowess was, Akuma needed to step it up. Finding ways to freely chain these moves together, because combining these attacks together would obviously aid him in taking the opponents by surprise. Kicking, slashing and punching his way into blinding combos of pure savage rage. His inner demons would be something he would need to work on another time.
The natural gifts with his upbringing caused him to be able to swing harder and cause more devastating blows with his weapons. In the end it never even mattered what was put into his hands or on his body. Akuma always got more out of a weapon than many others around him could. The way he moved the reckless care for his body or well being making his weapons that more deadly to use.

One of the more harder things for Akuma to pick up was how to use his obnoxious speed was to control it and harness it into something fluid. Which after loosing Kata his adoptive father, was one of the things he wished to do. He was not strong enough, not focused enough; to savage. The wolf inside of him needed to be controlled, like an arrow; not like leaves blowing in the wind. So while waiting upon his approval to be trained as a medical shinobi; he trained. Seeing how fast he could draw his kunai, shurriken or sword; which he was just as quick as anyone else. This had to change, this could be the thing between life and death for someone else he knew and held dear.
After days of drawing the weapons, his reaction time enhanced but there was a small issue. Akuma could now draw the weapons at blinding speed and use them, but he could not holster them. Stabbing and cutting himself several times in his failed attempts. Ironically the way he learned to do this not so simple task was to forget controlling himself and his motion. Akuma, just needed to trust himself and his instincts to know where the weapons went.
Only a few more days of training and he had mastered this simple, yet effective ability to quickly draw his weapon and tools.

During his years of vigorous training trying to learn the art of using one handed seals; he studied. Studied more now than ever in his life or career as a Leaf shinobi. Akuma had to learn about the human body, not just where the most effective place to hit was but where a person was hurt and how to use his tools and jutsu to save their lives. Sadly learning the anatomy of a human body was something more simple to him than being able to cast jutsu with a single hand.
Akuma realized that it took more focus and strained slightly more on his limited chakra pool to cast jutus with one hand. He was not fast as this in any regard but he was making progress finally. Dueling people and while on missions he actually progressed more on the field of battle than anything else. Burning more chakra than he has ever needed to before he was now able to cast these jutsu while in the midst of combat with an opponent. Healing himself, his allies or even firing off a torrent of devastating offensive ninjutsu attacks.

In his off time training; yes he had off time training. He practiced with throwing and placing a blow where he meant for it to go. Easy over these long years of being a ninja but not so easily done on a moving target. In the beginning he used longs on rope to practice this, he would cut the rope with a kunai and try to hit the bulls eye in the moving log. Once he had that down he would purposefully get into fights or sparring matches or sadly even on missions, he would go out of his way to hit them where he wanted to hit them. Getting pretty messed up on these occasions but Akuma was a monster of vitality if nothing else. Practicing on these moving opponents gave him the skill required to land a blow easier on a moving enemy than ever before. Honing his skills and making him a far more deadly foe and a more effective ally.
