General Description: A young boy with messy blonde hair, Akira is somewhat of an oddity among his family; his parents both having brown hair and dark eyes. He stands at about 4'3" and has a very slender build which contributes to his agility allowing him to move quite fluidly and gracefully. Moreover, he gives priority to his ninja training with his father, making sure to exercise and practice his punching and kicking several times a day to keep his body on form. Typically he dresses in a black shirt and dark green shorts, preferring to wear slightly baggy and open clothing to keep cool.
In terms of his personality, Akira is fun-loving and fairly energetic and places an importance on having a strong group of friends. He keeps a chill, positive attitude and is generally an optimist. Despite his outgoing nature, he does value his alone time and often needs it to recharge. Akira does not consider himself to be much of a strategist per se, but he is still highly intelligent all the same and thoroughly thinks out his plans before taking a course of action.
History: Akira was born in the Konoha, the son of a former ANBU captain and a florist. Growing up, Akira didn’t see a great deal of his father around the home; before retirement, he was a highly skilled ninja and headed the capture of several sought-after S-Rank criminals. Akira’s mother had to divide up her time a fair bit to both look after her son and her business. Akira was put to work in the shop fairly early, helping his mother with arranging the flowers and keeping the place clean. Akira's family also took care of many pets; they had several nin-dogs, most of which had formally aided Akira's father on his missions and fought alongside him - it was definitely something that fascinated Akira, but more so that his father appeared to share such an intense bond with their nin-dogs.
Fortunately, Akira’s father was able to give him adequate training now that he was retired. The young shinobi learned how to be light on his fight and how to effectively punch and kick without opening himself up to attack. Light sparring sessions followed every breakfast early in the morning and also took place shortly before dinner in the evening. Being skilled in the art of Taijutsu was a main priority while he was first training because it allowed Akira to gain an appreciation for the shinobi art and the catharsis that came from a good fight.
For the most part, Akira’s childhood was fairly isolated; he didn’t make too many friends around the village and his parents were always extremely protective of him no matter how much he protested for more freedom. In fact, until it came time to join the academy, he was pretty much shut in at home or thrown fully into work which kept him quite disciplined and focused. However, it was more a case that his parents needed to take the time to learn how to let their son go a little more, wanting to hold onto him while they could before he fully thrust himself into study and training at the academy at age 9. Even though he was now learning how to develop his shinobi skills, there were still secrets being kept from him by his parents, in particular, his strange lineage.
