Physical Description: Very pale skin. Mismatched eyes (one purple, one silvery blue). Very long silver hair that reaches her waist, frizzy fringe falling to her eyes and sweeping to the left. Usually she wears a blue cape trimmed with silver, an article of clothing she has had since childhood. Half of her face is covered by a light grey scarf so very few know her face. Underneath her cape she wears a simple knee-length white dress, worn ragged at the bottom. No one knows what expression is hiding under her scarf, but Nishikihebi is referred to as ‘the sullen child’ by locals.
Mental Description: Nishikihebi is a very hot-headed girl. She has a tendency to treat situations with a feral approach and take action before thinking. Very few people have seen her true nature, and those who have are gone. Nishikihebi tends to hide her true self from the world as a precaution. To her all those she does not know are enemies. Although she is a cold person she does feel achingly lonely and when others are out of sight she sings to the wind, hoping it will have a song in reply. She has lost all hope for humanity and instead dreams of a day nature can rule once more. Nishikihebi has a phobia of the dark and fears the day the world turns silent. She loves to sing and dance and is compelled to do so anytime she feels a breeze blow past her.
History: As a small child, Nishikihebi enjoyed a very comfortable life with her loving parents, a life which she can only remember fragments of yet she recalls it with a treacherous fondness. Once she reached the age of five one of her silver blue eyes turned purple for unknown reasons. Distraught and afraid, her parents rid themselves of her by placing her in the hands of a trader bound for Sungakure. Protected only by a blue cloak of her mothers, Nishikihebi was left on the streets to fend for herself. For weeks she lived down alleys surviving off the small offerings of kind hearted strangers, her small body unable to cope, until one night she was found by a kind sickly beggar woman, Ameiya. The two were frequently harassed by a cruel group of boys who tormented Ameiya for money. When Ameiya’s sickness claimed her life, Nishikihebi was devastated, overcome by powerful grief and anger at the world. When approached by the boys once more she prepared to fight her, but instead of tormenting her they offered her the chance to ‘make her parents pay’ for casting her out. At the tender age of 7, Nishikihebi had no idea what this truly meant so agreed. A month later while roaming the streets she saw a crowd gathered outside of a small house and looked in to see the people she recognized as her parents dead inside. When she asked an onlooker who they were she was told they were a couple who were looking for something they had lost. Feeling nothing but anger at her own stupidity, Nishikihebi began to hate herself. Although she had kept herself away from people for so long, she joined the shinobi academy out of fear of the boys that had killed her parents and to try to redeem her own crimes. Despite the fact her knowledge of the academy was unusually small, Nishikihebi accepted the change with no hesitation.
