Name: Sotashi Kani
Age: 13
Physical Description: her hair is a light strawberry blonde naturally that she adds pink highlights to. She has no scarring or tattoos to speak of at this time. Her build is pretty average for girls her age, being roughly five foot and seventy five pounds. Her body is mostly toned as she spends a lot of time running and exercising with other kids when she can. Her eyes are a golden brown coloration, with her left eye having a ring of pale green directly around the pupil. They have a smattering of freckles on their shoulders and face, and their skin is gently touched with red to give an illusory look of tan to it, though she can tan up if exposed to the sun long enough.
Mental Description: Kani is many things, but most of all she is patient. She studies a situation before ever weighing in on it. She was kind, calm, and collected always, that's how she was raised and what she believed made sense in most situations. However once someone had crossed a line with her, there was no coming back from that. Sometimes she would nervously play with her fingers while thinking, tapping them each rhythmically against her thumb. If she was putting it together the speed would quicken, but if it was escaping her it would be a slow methodical tap. She is quick to embarrass as she doesn't understand a lot of turn of phrase or double meanings, which can lead her to become flustered as she would never intentionally make a comment like that. All of her words are chosen carefully as she means what she says at any given time.
History: When it comes to her beginnings, it is fairly safe to say she has lived a simple life. Her mother raised her for most of her life since her father passed away on mission. This however did not turn her away from pursuing the academy, if anything she wanted to be just like him. She never missed meals, class, or any of the many activities she somehow always volunteered for. Her mother and her would seldom argue, and often did most things together until last year. She has very rarely wound up in a situation where a fight became necessary that she didn't talk her way out of, and on the few occasions she did it was not too harsh of a brawl. She tends to spend most of her days dreaming of missions in far off places and helping those who need her most.
Bloodline/Core ability: Hawkeye application.
While all the above is true, there is also something more to young Kani. She, much like her father, tends to hyper analyze and focus on the world around her. This really has come into play when she started her trainings before the academy. Her mother gifted her a few of her father's old things: his headband, his bow, and his old kunai. Upon taking them out to practice, that same focus kicked into overdrive. She began to target the dummies in a way that suggested skill far beyond that of a rookie Shinobi. Splitting arrows, doubling up kunai, you name it she was attempting and mastering it. Not too long into this she realized her ability to find weakened points and establish zones of interest in her targets. Now she does this cold calculation everywhere she goes, even on her allies, as almost instinct. The smiling happy girl has slowly become cold and calculating at any random time of the day, making it much more obvious she is more than just her kind words.
