Akira allowed himself to walk around the hospital as he knew the corridors so well now, it was clear that he had been around this hospital long enough to know what was required and expected of him, he had moved up in the world but even so it was good to get his feet on the ground now and then to see what the daily lives were like for the staff that had now become under him, he had changed a lot since those very first days. As he walked up to the front desk the pile of documents already waiting for him, it was clear that they had been prepared for his arrival and had made the charts ready for those that would be seeing him today.
As he looked at the notes, it seemed that his duties had changed slightly, instead of just going around the rooms and checking patients, he was to check in on the medical staff and nurses who were in charge of the hospital to see what they were doing, and any matters that they required help with, so he wanted to make sure that he was setting them the correct and required tasks that they needed. Walking down the corridor he headed towards the nurse station first, the stack of documents in his hand requiring them to look at each of these matters, and dish out the required workload to everyone to allow them to carry out their daily duties.
After a few minutes passed, he had distributed the basic workload, bandage changing, anti-biotics, standard checks carried out on patience, making sure that they kept their workload within what they could achieve, and setting the nurses off to task making sure that they were happy with what was required of them, it seemed that asking the nurses was now something that fell under his position as a chief. He allowed himself to have a few moments of chatting with the nurses to not alienate them but instead become pleasant with them, and make them friends.
Leaving them he headed with the last stack of paperwork to the doctor's station, just with a very small pile of documents, the brown folders dished out to the day staff would be organizing operations, checking on infected patients, and the harder cases that nurses could not deal with is what he would be handing these last group. He had recently been a doctor and knew that they were going to be busy as always, but having a morning chat with them and handing out the tasks this way allowed him to give expectations to each of them, on what he was assigning, and for them to see him as well.
Akira had handed all tasks out as well that he would need to be completed today he would head back to his office to check in on any other paperwork waiting for him.
