Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was getting well past midnight when Satoru couldn't help but let a yawn out. His wait on top of a small building's rooftop had been uneventful. He'd been requested by a small shop owner to keep watch that night for a burglar who'd broken his place and, surprisingly, only stolen a few small goods, but even more surprisingly, came back the second night. Figuring the thief wouldn't refrain from breaking in the store a third time, but also given the small damage done and the whole unlikeliness of the event, the store owner wanted someone to keep an eye out at night and possibly try to catch the culprit. Satoru took the job almost without a second thought. This wasn't anything like his usual assignments and he also thought a low visibility night watch would be great practice for him. At that moment though, he was so bored that he was beginning to doubt the usefulness of the mission.

The student ended up looking into space towards the designated building when suddenly, a figure appeared on the otherwise deserted street. His body quickly sprung into action, as he looked at the quick route down to street level that he'd prepared. First he waited and watched for a few seconds and saw what looked like a slim man get inside and out in the span of a mere five seconds. Surprised by the little time it took for the crook to get out and run, Satoru quickly dashed after him. He hit the ground running and could still see the man but after a few seconds, he turned left into a narrower street. It looked like the boy hadn't been noticed before turning around the corner as well, because he was able to catch up a good distance, but as soon as Satoru's steps were heard on the same street, the figure turned his head and then sprinted faster than before. Luckily for the student, he was pretty familiar with the area, and his agility one was perhaps his greatest attribute. As he closed down on him, he could notice the burglar was looking very frightened and frail, despite being much taller than Satoru. Still, the student was the one chasing and it seemed the man had fully lost his composure when the boy soon caught up to him with a side kick to the lower abdomen. The man shrieked and dropped the three small trinkets that he'd stolen.

"Aaah! No! Please don't hurt me, I w-won't steal anymore, I p-promise!" he cried, as he almost broke down into tears. He looked quite pathetic. By the looks of him, he was simply a poor and weak man, who couldn't even succeed at burglary. Each time he'd visited the small store he'd only stolen few and small things, probably because he was so scared of being caught, and the only reason he hadn't been caught earlier was because he'd targeted maybe the smallest store in the neighborhood. Satoru didn't exactly know how to deal with the situation. He wasn't used to being the assertive one, but he managed to muster a scowling look and yell at the man to never catch him around that store again, in a threatening enough tone, that the man quickly crawled a few meters away, jumped to his feet as Satoru took a few quick steps towards him, and ran away as quickly as he could. The boy sighed in relief, realizing that he was probably supposed to be thankful the burglar wasn't such a big threat. He picked up the trinkets and started walking back to the store. The student made sure the place didn't show its vulnerability after being broken into that night, and then headed back to his home to finally get some sleep for the night.
