Sub Accounts

So what is this?
Obviously it's a system/add-on for the site that allows you to create a sub account. This is an entirely new system that we're introducing now properly.

How does it work?
Within the aforementioned link, you create a new account, this account is henceforth your sub-account, making your main one the "parent" account. You can either log into that sub-account, or click the little chain that should appear in the top right to quickly snap into and back from your other account.

Why would you want to do this?
Well, if you feel like testing something out, or wanna have another character to play around with, or you maybe wanted to try RPing properly within another village, you now can fully. The account is entirely separate functionally, except for being linked through sub and parent. So it's respected as such. In a sense this is much like our previous iNPC system, but fully started and individual.

What limits are there?
You're only allowed two extra accounts. You can train on all three, but only receive monthly reward on one of them per month, your decision. Your characters cannot be in a combat scenario (modded combat or going missing attempts as examples) together. If they're in the same thread, the latest ones are removed.

Multiple Account Rules​

• You can only have two extra accounts.
• Having an extra account is a privilege, and we reserve the right to remove it if you cannot or choose not to follow site rules.
• Having the privilege of using gifs on your main account also extends to your extra account. No need to donate a second time.

• You can only claim the Yen/ASP monthly rewards on one of your accounts. Not all three.
• You can then pick, week to week, who gets the bonus to training!
• And, on top of that: The bonus RP slot, the x2 yen from solo self modded missions, and the double rewards from classes DO apply to all accounts.

• In case you and your other account are in the same thread, and a battle mod is called, the last one to enter the thread will be removed.
• You cannot have both, or all three, of your accounts in the same battle under any circumstances.
• You cannot approve your other accounts trainings and requests. This still requires another staff member.
• You cannot moderate your sub accounts fights.
• You cannot tutor your sub account with your main account, or tutor one sub account with another.
• You cannot provide your sub account with anything from your main account, or another sub account. This includes cursed seals, contracts, etc.
• Any action that could result in a modded situation, like going missing, has to be done using only one account, not both, or all three.
• Kill-switches are on a character basis, so enabling it on one, will not enable it on the other.

• Roleplaying or being in the same thread with "yourself" in order to gain something, be it promotions, access to things, or otherwise, are not permitted, there are other ways to gain such things.
• Your previous PCs, and your NPCs can now be seen as a pool of potential characters any of your accounts can OCR into. Do remember that stats and jutsu are tied to the account, so if you transfer a PC over to a sub account, they won't have their old stats, or library of jutsu.

The sub-accounts use a parent-child system, so any staff related work should be done through your main account, as the sub-account will not have the necessary accesses granted to it.

15th November 2023: Updated rules to allow users to pick which account gets the training rewards instead of being locked in to a single character for the entire month.
15th August 2023: Updated rules to allow transfers of former PCs to sub accounts, with the stipulation that they won't have their stats, jutsus, etc. Also adding a clarification that you can't be in a thread with yourself to gain something, be it promotions, access to things, or otherwise.
4th May 2023: Updated rules to indicate a 2nd sub account is allowed.
