A prepubescent girl on the verge of entering her teenage years, Riye stands at an average height and sports a standard weight for her age. Her skin a fair alabaster hue, it was always a mystery as to why such pale flesh hardly retained any indication of the sun's influence. Occasionally, her exterior adorns a reddened, pinkish tinge equivalent to common sunburn; however, clothes act as an attempt to shield from both the harsh rays of the sun and storms of wind common only to Sunagakure. Her frame as petite and skinny as any energetic and sporty girl, Riye's figure is more suitable for fluid and nimble movements, as opposed to a more muscular and strength-dependent one; obvious by the lean and graceful stature. One could only assume that uncanny contortion and acrobatic-like reflexes exude from her being.
Her attire consists of a choli top with baggy sleeves that stop at the elbow, followed by arm guards that stop at the wrist, usually in a variation of autumn colors; often at times, she wears a black or smoke grey color, red, burgundy, or beige to blend in with the natural landscape of Sunagakure. Underneath the choli top is either fishnet or bandages; sometimes a dark, onyx shade of legging-esque material - under armor, if relatable and this usually reaches to even the lower half of her face (nose and below). Then, her lower garments are shin-length baggy pants that rest just below the knees, where the same material that covers her stomach also is wrapped around her calves and down to her ankles. Against her feet are the standard ninja sandals, though in a black color. The baggy pants have a split skirt of sorts covering it.
Honing in on her visage, one would notice light freckles against her cheeks. Her lips as full as a children could possibly possess, they take on a light salmon-colored pink. Her straight, soft hair a medium length, it rests just along her shoulder blades, barely reaching her mid-back. Riye's tresses are of a honey-maple color; chocolate sprinkled with blond highlights and tinged with red. Her eyes tend to resemble the same hue; specks of green combined to make a hazel-shade of brown, amber and green.
Personality:
A child mature well over her years, Riye is quiet, polite and respectful to those of higher authority and figure, including the elderly. Friendly to those she meets, some might consider her shy, when in fact she prefers day-dreaming and introvert activities such as reading or brain training with puzzles and shogi. Still, she's as active and energetic as any curious and growing child, enjoying physical sports and acrobatics, as well as learning more about the ninja life. Her self-esteem is average, making her hardly doubt her capabilities. When one questions her character or attempts to put her down, natural instinct to retaliate might surface, but she usually maintains a rational and cool head. Instances that might not bring out the best of her, she will firmly stick up for what she believes in, and will take an offensive stance - like any creature goaded to fight back. On some other occasions, Riye can be aloof and oblivious, seemingly detached from a situation or conversation.
Friends might get her to condone a prank or two, or even reveal a trickster side: like a child simply influenced and pressured by peers, depending on the severity of prank, of course. Overall, her parents have taught her how to responsible and dutiful, not to mention optimistic and outgoing when need be; but who knows what obstacles she might face in the future that could essentially change her disposition and character...

Following through a strict upbringing, Riye's parents were rather unorthodox and strayed from society's norms. Outside of the village's customs, her parents were both equally loving and stern; resorting to discipline and conditioning but showing their nurturing side simultaneously. With this sort of growth and development, Riye has learned respect, compassion and care, as well as responsibility. Nonetheless, nothing worth noting, like a death in the family (etc.) had occurred... fortunately.
Helping out with chores was common for Riye, even at such a young age. Her parents taught her, ultimately, how to be resourceful; both in the wilderness and with practical skill through socialization and work. They have also taught her the importance of survival, defending oneself and taking up hobbies. Despite what seems to be a busy lifestyle, they have also given Riye a proper education, enabling her nigh-high intelligence and imagination to grow.
Among day-dreaming, her curiosity for acrobatics, combat and other advanced professions within the shinobi ranks has led her to the Academy gates within Sunagakure; merely in hopes of succeeding with her aspiration and dream to become a transcendental and experienced Kunoichi. Still, while purity exudes from her being, there also seems to be a dark, looming mass; where only time would truly tell if the lurking darkness would consume and swallow her whole.
