Strong frame without being too big. Short black hair with two white locks in it. Was named Shikai (Sight) because he inherited one eye colour from his mother (Left blue eye) and one very rare eye colour from his farther (Right eye, golden iris) He wears a black mask covering his golden eye with a one way lens that looks blue to people looking from the outside. He wears a black long sleeve coat and a collar to match. Underneath he has a generic black ninja outfit. He wears black fingerless cotton gloves.
Mental Description:
Shikai is marked by the fact that his family had a Romeo and Juliet complex so he doesn't really feel like he fit in due to his alternative eyecolour. This makes him somewhat insecure and often gives him a hostile demeanor towards people who discriminate. He is true to his friends if he ever gets any.
History:
Hachiashi Miriko lived with her Husband Sunaku Shirudo in the hidden sand village. They were happy together but due to her appearance Miriko experienced many acceptance issues within the city. Noone would directly interact with her if they could avoid it and they would often be indifferent or hostile towards her whenever her husband wasn't around. Shirudo was a true sand master, sand ran in his vein and he was revered for his ability to control the sand and his nag for teaching others to get their sand under control. He never aspired to anything big and so he never went beyond Jounin rank even if he could have. He liked teaching and avoiding the harsh environments from some of the higher rank missions. One day during a routine patrol Shirudo didn't return home. Miriko tried to get people to go look for him but they knew that he could take care of himself and they didn't much care for any request of Miriko's. When he still hadn't reported in two days late a search party was dispatched to find out what had happened. Unlikeable wife or not, he was still a sand ninja and a good teacher. They found him hanging upside down in a cocoon with only his head free, barely alive and with a sand orb just below him. As he saw the rescue party he called out to them to save the children he had been protecting in his sand and to watch out for spider ambush. Using a few fire jutsu the search team drove the giant spiders further into the dark deep cavern, but when they turned around the orb was nothing more than a pile with the heads of the two children inside sticking out. Shirudo had been ambushed by the spiders trying to get them out of the cave and had lost most of his chakra control due to the venom. As a result he was half way paralyzed and only had enough energy left to form and maintain a barrier for the kids till help arrived. Now that help had showed up Shirudo had drawn his last breath somewhat relieved and was now hanging suspended, cold, and lifeless.
Back at the village Miriko learned what had happened and was devastated but she didn't get much time to grieve. The circumstances of Shirudo's death combined with Mirikos monstrous appearance with four extra arms and her creepy affinity for spiders, rumors spread that she had her husband killed after he had given her a son. Some kind of delayed black widow situation. She was forced to flee and took the by then 2 year old Shikai with her to the Iwagakure where she lived as a refugee for a while until she was accepted into the ranks. Shirudo was encased in crystal to preserve him and then placed in a tomb at his families funeral sight in the northern part of the wind country, close to the border to the bird country. Miriko had chosen to travel to the Earth country to be as close to the grave sight as possible to visit her dead husband every once in a while. She is however gone almost as much as she is home so Shikai have learned how to cook, clean, and take care of himself when he is alone. At the age of 13 he finally had the courage to apply for the academy.
