Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The trip back was certainly much nicer than the trip there.

That had been quite a long time back, of course, but the lack of sandstorm made Makoto's journey much easier. All right, there was still a lot of sand, and it was unpleasant to walk in, and he still wouldn't ever want to live in this country, ever. There was something about dry heat that was far more unpleasant to him than wet heat. But still, there was no sandstorm, and that was an improvement.

He was also doing some mental story-editing in his head--at first, it was to make himself sound more heroic, but then he realized that wasn't really all that necessary, and then it became to downplay the danger and also to leave out the fact he'd gotten more severely hurt from a small, rabid cat than the controller of a gigantic magnetic storm. And leave out the cat at all, actually. He was fairly certain the scratches were all gone and he'd gotten the blood out of his (mended) clothes.

Oh right, and there was also the fact that the story was for the sake of his superiors in the Wardens first. His brothers were going to have to grovel a bit and do some serious apologizing if they wanted to know what he'd been doing on his trip. He was still sore over them keeping such a huge secret from him, especially when it was about him.

He clambered aboard a boat due for Moon and settled in. Best to spend the journey thinking about exactly what he was going to say to prove he was mad, about what, and why he had a right to be.

Shouldn't be too hard to guilt-trip Saito. Kanashimi...he'll be tougher. I expect a lot of 'we did it for your own good' and so on.

The phoenix trilled in his head, something about how humans were silly about people they loved, only he wasn't sure of whether it was talking about him being angry or his brothers' over-protectiveness and secrecy, and he wasn't going to agree or disagree until he knew which.

...well, perhaps he shouldn't be focusing on his anger, anyway. That was unpleasant and could wait until he had deserving targets. Instead, he could focus on going home, back to a place where you didn't have to carry water around everywhere or risk dehydrating and the sun glaring off the sand was a minor inconvenience at the beach and not a way of life.

And perhaps he could just enjoy the fact he was on his way home because it was home.
