Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Walking on the surface, even laden down with lumber, was a breath of fresh air. Literally. The wind rustled Kyo's robe playfully, and it was a pleasant counterpoint to the hot rays of the midday sun. All around him people were working on the reconstruction, everyone wanting to pitch in with the efforts. The end of the Diamond Maelstrom had given Suna a chance to rebuild, and it was sorely needed. The cabal attacks had seemed to hit morale hard, but this gave everyone new hope. Kyo as well wasn't unaffected, just the thought of being able to live on the surface under the open sky ade him want to smile. Though perhaps even better, Project Rebirth had sparked something within his father and the usually dour man was eagerly helping where he could.

Finally he reached the worker who needed the lumber, and it was a relief to set them down. His arms burned from the exertion, he'd been scurrying back and forth with supplies for the last couple of hours, but it was a good burn. "Got you the lumber, anything else?" He asked the workers, and got directed towards some of the guys further down who needed more nails. At least he got to train strength and stamina at the same time as he was doing this mission, so that was another bonus in addition to the money he was paid for this.

As he walked back again he nodded to the few people he recognized, most were fellow academy students who were helping carrying supplies though he also recognized some of his neighbors. His next door neighbor Kagami was working on one of the houses, busy with what seemed like the foundation. The man looked up and smiled as he recognized Kyo. "Ah Kyo, you're running supplies today eh? Well, when you've got the time can you bring some stone over here, we're almost out." The man asked him cheerfully, wiping sweat away from his brow. Kyo grimaced at the thought of carrying more stone, that was the heaviest burden, but nodded in response. He quickly scurried towards where he was to deliver the nails before the man decided to engage in small talk or began yammering on about his youngest daughter. He'd rather fight a missing nin that sit through an hour of that.

Another hour went by before Kyo could finally say himself done for the day, and by that time he was exhausted. The thought of his bed kept him going as he headed back down to the underground city, but to his horror Kagami caught up to him and decided they could walk back together. "I have to report in first so go without me, not to mention I really do not want to hear about your daughter." His father would probably give him a disappointed look when he got home for being rude, but Kyo didn't have it in him to care. If it meant escaping the chatter he'd take the reproachful looks without regrets. And with that thought he headed in to report.
