Story: Given to Chouko by her doctor as a present when she left her home village to go to Village of Mist.

Design: An old sword with a golden cross guard and a wooden hilt. The blade is made of steel and shaped like a katana, but has a rather large curve near the tip.
Story: The sword was given to Chouko when her father died as a memento to remember him by. As a child she was often told that the curve near the tip was symbolic. It meant that if you were prepared to aim a blade at an enemy, you must also be prepared to have a blade aimed back at you. Whenever Chouko is about to slash with the sword, the tip would always face her reminding her of this fact.
