Yagami Kyo gripped the sword in his hands as he stepped out of the blacksmith's shop, nodding towards his client and reassuring him that he would keep it safe. It was his latest work, and one that needed to be delivered to the man who had commissioned him for it, and of course it would have to be in mint condition. It wasn't a very glorious mission but at least it was more dignified than finding wayward cats or taking care of a rodent problem. He knew that years from now, when he would taking life threatening S-rank missions, he would look back on a day like this and laugh at how simple things used to be. Securing the sword strap around his body he would duck into an alley, jumping towards one of the walls and kicking off of it, jumping back and forth until he reached the roof and pulled himself up. Dusting off his hands he would begin to run, one arm hanging behind him as the other held on to the sword and keeping it from moving too much. He was fast, very fast, of course he had to be. As much as he learned about rolling with punches and guarding against attacks the best defense for a Hyuuga would be to not get hit at all, their fighting style was built with movement and agility in mind. As he neared the edge of the roof he would take a flying leap, easily crossing over the gap and landing without barely any momentum lost. A smile would cross his lips, loving the freedom he felt as he quickly made his way from rooftop to rooftop, wishing that the client was living a little farther away so it wouldn't end so quickly.
It did, of course. The boy hopping off the roof and landing back on the street. A hand ran through his hair and he straightened his clothes before knocking on the door, confirming the order with the man who answered the door. Handing over the sword he would wait for him to get a good look at it, the boy grinning as the client confirmed that it was in perfect condition. With a wave they would part, the boy having completed the delivery, turning before heading back to the Embassy for his reward.
