Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Another day to relax in his own bed, it must have been the unfamiliar room that made him uncomfortable and bored. Freakin hospitals.. Never going to that place again. Ri's thought was suddenly interrupted by his little sister being overly excited about some famous person in the village. He remembered when she was manageable; following him around the village playing ninja. Now she was just some average little girl who was obsessed with anything everyone else was obsessed with. Another mind that was brainwashed by their evolving society, but this was a case where evolution was certainly not for the better.

Enough with complaints, it was time to act! And act really meant leave the house and head on an adventure to the forest. And adventure really meant a search for a good napping spot. But as his daily routine always works, Ri must first wander aimlessly until coming across a restaurant which looks halfway decent. After this was accomplished, he would simply need to hope that no one disturbs him for the rest of the day. If such a thing were to happen, he would try his best to ignore their very existence. For today was a special day! Today, Ri had more sake. And as most that knew him knew, no day was ever truly complete without a gourd of quality sake!

After finishing his breakfast, which for once sucked due to a bad "choice", Ri began his walk to the forest where he would spend the rest of his day doing hopefully nothing. As always, Kumogakure lived up to it's name, for the weather was cloudy, and along with these clouds was the terrifyingly familiar cold that accompanied it. The reason it was terrifying, was because cold should never be a familiar feeling. Especially for someone as lazy as Ri, it always made him use creative methods to keep himself warm as he slept.

Speaking of creative methods, today's was just plain lazy. Ri simply dug a whole and filled it with some lava, this allowed him to be just lazy as he wanted to be, and he could stay warm. Now all that was left for him to do was drink his sake so he could go to sleep. Pulling the cork out of the large gourd that he had on his hip all morning, he took the first sip of the heavenly elixir that was stored within it, causing him to feel pure bliss. Quality Sake always made him get to excited, so much so that it could even be compared to how excited sexy women got him, and that's saying a lot. The mixture of the warmth from the lava and the false warmth caused by the alcohol mixed in the sake was soothing to him, and Ri took his time drinking one of his favorite things.

The forest was always serene to Kunashi. Instead of the typical stay-in-place-with-your-eyes-closed meditation, Kunashi decided to clear his head by taking a slow, morning walk. He stayed toward the outer rim of the forest. Shallow enough to see anything but forest, but not deep enough to reach the Inuzukas or the bigger wildlife. He took deep breaths, breathing in the air and simply taking in his surroundings. This peaceful walking continued on for a couple hours uninterrupted.

That is, until he ran into a person. Before he saw the figure, he felt the heat of the lava he had created. Kunashi's course was directly in front of the boy, and he thought about stopping and having a nice conversation. That is, until he saw who it was. The pervert from the springs, the one who had groped his transformed body. Kunashi's face turned red and he looked down, hoping to not catch the boy's attention. This could get dicey.

Ri could hear as footsteps grew closer and closer to him, and didn't mind currently. Anyone who was opposed to his underage drinking would likely not cause trouble when they saw the lava next to him. He continued enjoying his drink, now with his eyes closed so he could try and avoid eye contact with whoever was taking a morning walk. When the footsteps were seemingly right next to him as he finished his drink, Ri opened his eyes and dropped the gourd in the lava to dispose of it. There was no point in keeping it since every time he bought more, they just gave him another one, and as he looked to see who was walking, he saw a familiar face.

Not able to remember where he'd seen the face before, he ignored the boy for now and simply let him continue walking. But the more he thought about it, the more he thought it really looked familiar, and for some reason it pissed him off. Sitting up, Ri thought harder and harder about where he could've seen this face before, and why the boy would be blushing just from seeing him. Was it a stalker that was in love with him?! Ri didn't think of men that way, there's no way! But just as he finished his day-nightmare, he remembered. The place he'd seen the face before was the hot springs where he first met Osu.. He had fooled Ri into thinking he was a female, and caused him to grope his false boobs!

"You bastard!" Ri yelled as he stood up and began sprinting in the direction the boy was walking. He would get his payback, whether the kid liked it or not, and he would make damn sure that the punishment was harsh. It was almost humiliating what he did to Ri, making him have a feeling of false success, when really he was groping a man's boobs! The very thought disgusted him. But soon, the time for revenge would be upon them, and he was sure it would be sweet.

As he could see the figure of the boy come into view, he waited until he grew closer and closer then reeled back for a punch. Launching his fist forward, he aimed for the back of the boy's head, and hoped he wasn't noticed so that he could get at least one punch off before there was any chance for negotiations. It had been a while since Ri wanted revenge, but he would make sure that since he was after it, he would get it.

"You bastard!"

The boy had identified him. Kunashi kept his head down and walked faster, hoping the boy wasn't following. He heard footsteps approaching, but then they stopped. Maybe the boy would say something?

BAM!

Wrong he was. His head started pounding as he fell to the floor from the sucker punch. Kunashi got back up as quickly as he could. He was pissed! The boy didn't even have the gall to wait till he was looking?! Kunashi sprinted at the boy and tried to tackle him to the ground. If successful, he would try to pin him and begin waylaying him with punches of his own. If not, Kunashi would attempt to knock his knees out as he passed and eventually work his way into the pin-and-punch routine again. If it was a fistfight the boy wanted, Kunashi was going to give it to him. It wasn't his fault that the boy was a pervert and ruined a perfectly relaxing soak in the springs!

Why'd he have to fight back? He couldn't have just accepted his punishment like a good boy? It wasn't Ri's fault that he turned into a woman to bathe with the actual women in the hot springs. Ri was the victim here, and he would still have to try harder to get revenge. Damn, trying. Ri's anger distracted him enough to allow the kid to tackle him to the ground, and begin trying to avoid being pinned. "Why are you angry? All I did was punch you, not trick you!" This was a stupid question, but there was no time for thinking through what he'd say.

Rolling backwards the moment he could, Ri tried to knee his foe in the jaw as he came up. He removed his hat to avoid damaging it further if they ended up grappling more on the ground. Although he hoped there would be no more grappling, he wasn't good at this due to his lack of experience doing it in the first place. Ri ran at his opponent and tried to kick him in the side with his wooden sandals. If it hit, it would likely cause a lot of pain due to the fact that they're, well, wooden. Wether he hit him or not, he'd say, It's your fault you know, shouldn't have played childish tricks at the hot springs!" Before jumping into the trees to try and think about what to do if things got more serious or he was followed.

Hopefully he was followed, his revenge required that the kid stayed close enough for him to hit.

His opponent landed with a thud to the ground as Kunashi began reeling back for his first punch. Then the boy asked the stupidest question Kunashi had ever heard. Why was he angry? He had just been suckerpunched in the back of the head, that's why he was angry! Though the struggle was too much for him to express how stupid he thought the question was, he was able to say a few words.

"Are you kidding me? You punched me! Idiot!"

The question was just stupid enough to throw Kunashi off from his punch, however. With the opening achieved, Ri was able to roll out of the pin without any punches being landed on him. Kunashi barely saw the knee coming, and was narrowly able to avoid the blow to his jaw due to his heightened reflexes. Kunashi got back to his feet, just in time to see the boy running at him. Kunashi wasn't quick enough on this attack, however, and took Ri's wooden sandals directly to the side. Kunashi knelt to recover, and then Rirakkusu taunted him.

Kunashi was pissed. The boy had the audacity to blame him for what had transpired in their past? This sent Kunashi through the roof.

"MY fault?! My fucking fault? I wasn't the one nosediving into a pool of naked women and groping the unsuspected! You ruined my night, as well as many others' in the spring that night! You groped me, not the other way around!"

As Kunashi finished his rant, the boy took off through the trees. Kunashi was not going to let him get away now, this was personal. Sprinting as fast as he could, which was remarkably fast due to his Seikon nature, Kunashi took chase after Ri on the ground. When the boy had just leapt from a branch, Kunashi stepped through reality and appeared directly in front of the boy. He brought his foot down directly toward Rirakkusu's big, stupid head, hoping to knock some sense into him. If he had missed, he would reposition himself using another space technique and take chase after the boy, closing the gap as fast as he could.

"I don't know.." Ri said as he continued jumping through the trees, "You guys seemed to have a good time kicking the crap out of me!" He managed to finish his sentence before a wild Kunashi appeared in front of him and kick him directly in the face. Now even Ri was pissed, he was angry before, but now even he was mad. You're using jutsu now, huh!?" He yelled as he grabbed on to a nearby branch as he fell, flipping himself onto said branch before continuing through the forest. If he was going to use jutsu, Ri was to..

Flying through a few hand seals, Ri formed a molten aura around himself which should burn anything that got to close. Turning his head, he saw that he was indeed being chased, which meant that he could still get some revenge. But first, he'd have some fun. Another set of hand seals were made, and gravity was distorted around both Ri and his pursuer. Ri making himself feel lighter, and try to make his foe much heavier. He hoped to cause him to fall down a bit while giving him a chance to gain some distance and set up. So if he wanted a close range fight, he'd give him one after a bit more fun with ranged attacks.

Stopping on the first branch he could, Ri turned around and prepared for his opponent to come at him. In order for this to happen a bit faster, he also stopped manipulating the gravity around the both of them. The moment he got the chance, he'd form a small metal chunk and throw it at Kunashi as if it were a bullet. Mixing both his ability to make metal, as well as his weaker jutsu to throw rocks like you just shot a gun. Then, to put the molten chakra that surrounded his body to good use, Ri would would wait for his foe to get close if that's what he intended to do. If given a chance, he'd grab ahold of him and try to stop him from moving. Which of course is a bit cruel, seeing how hot the area around him was from his own chakra, but if it got him revenge and stopped the fight that turned out to be more annoying than expected, it was worth it.

The kid's audacity was one for the record books. Kunashi had a hard time understanding why he was being blamed for the events that transpired. This just angered him more. Aiko-sama would be very ashamed at how he had lost control in this situation. His sense began slowly coming back to him when the boy covered himself in lava. It seemed this was no longer just a fistfight. Kunashi knew he needed to be careful, this could get dangerous. While in the chase, he began to feel heavier. Kunashi knew this trick. It appears Ri could use gravity jutsu as well. Kunashi decided to play along, letting him be weighed down and gain distance on his opponent. If needbe he could simply quicksilver step into range anyway, he wanted to see what the boy was planning. The boy then stopped and turned towards Kunashi, and with it the gravity was returned to normal. Kunashi stopped as well. The change in gravity and the boy's turning was indicative of something to come, and Kunashi wanted to be ready. His eyes were peeled, and he saw a small chunk of metal being formed. It was then hurled at him with intense speed. Kunashi didn't have much time.

He held his hand out and pushed gravity in the other direction, reflecting the bullet backwards. However, it was not aimed at the flame-covered boy. The bullet cracked through the limb that the boy was standing on, shattering the joint from which it deviated from the trunk. Kunashi flew threw a set of handseals, and increased the gravity around Rirakkusu greatly, hopefully causing he and the tree to plummet to the ground. Kunashi would remain on the branch, high above his opponent. He was slowly regaining his composure, and simultaneously realizing that this fight was far too dangerous to be of any use to either of them. If it all went as planned, he would call below him.
"Are you alright?" Kunashi's normally gentle soul was briefly overtaken by rage, and he was rather ashamed. He could have really hurt this boy.
