Table for Three: An Interesting Meal [Private: Takeshi & Manzo]

The escorting of the Leaf Sennin known as Uchiha Takeshi would be a fun one, just like all the previous escorting that I did when a foreigner came into my home to either grab a bite to eat or take one of our guest rooms. The only time that I would speak was when we initially reentered the main entrance to inform the Byakko guards that another shinobi from Leaf by the name of Manzo would be arriving in a little while and to escort him to the dining room where Takeshi and I would be sitting and discussing matters. The rest of the escorting would be quiet to allow my guest to take in all the sights and sounds of my clan's estate from the pristine white walls to the beautiful white marble floors to the elegant pictures plastered on the wall which included normal, modern photography along with photos of our former clan heads and one illustrated image of Lord Byakko showing him off in one of his spirit forms. To an outsider like Takeshi, these images were probably bland or boring but they all served a purpose to our clan.

In any case, we would continue to walk and he would be able to hear roaring from a distance which were our pet tigers. Many of them were now young adults and thus we were trying to teach them how to be proper pets and show the correct manners so we didn't have anyone getting attacked or ate by them. Of course, it was likely that he would see domesticated felines as well as we walked since we were the Byakko Clan after all and worship Lord Byakko who was a celestial being and a white tiger. However, there would appear to be no other Byakko members around as we turned into the dining room and it was a nice one at that. After our entrance into the room, I would get on a nearby communication system telling anyone in the kitchen that I had a guest and he would need some food prepped for him since he was a foreigner. Fortunately, I would hear a response back quickly and give a simple nod and confirmation through my voice before sitting down at the table. I would motion for Takeshi to do the same.

I would then begin to speak to him in the same friendly tone and demeanor as I did outside. "Welcome to the Byakko Estate. Our chefs are beginning a meal for you, your friend, and myself to enjoy. I hope you are open to trying new things as we have a large variety of foods for you to try from our country and foreign countries as well like Lightning" I would begin as it was true. Our "menu" was always expanding and never dull for anyone including the members of the Byakko Clan. It might have been in part due to having money to spend on elegant products that were of the top quality or our cooks were just above the rest. In any case, I would finish with the following and then wait for his response: "Do you have any preference on desserts? Make sure that you save space for dessert as well and remember we can always wrap something up for you if you don't finish it within reason."

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Takeshi looked around as he walked with the new person that he had met, looking at the sights and views as he walked around looking at the place that he was being escorted to. Deciding to take this chance to compare what life was like inside of these clan houses to those inside of Konaha. It was a different world this was for sure but there was a nice difference about it. It had to be said that there was room to improve inside of the leaf village but what was to be expected it was still being worked upon and it seemed to have a good amount of difference for each one.

“I have to admit this is an interesting place that you have, it reminds me of the clan houses back at home and the one that I myself live in though our estate has other houses for the members it is similar and different at the same time”

As he continued to walk he listened to the words being spoken and nodded back in appreciate of the food being done. It seemed that he would be having a taste of everything that the country offered him, and he wasn’t about to complain, as he waited to see if Manzo got the message and would be joining them for food, he wondered what the man had made of his time inside of this village, it seemed that Takeshi’s had been productive to say the least and he couldn’t argue about that one. He was here to do a job but sometimes the side option allowed him time to relax and enjoy himself as he found he was doing now.

“I will leave desert down to you, just out of interest I hear that you have animals around, what type of animals are in this area, I myself have always been a fan of learning about new things, and those noises sound like a predator though I have been searching for something specific for a while now….”

He trailed off as he allowed his thoughts to catch up to him and stop revealing the information that he was about to reveal. Instead he just smiled back and went back to looking around the room that they would be eating in deciding to wait for his other companion to arrive he did want to speak to Manzo if it was possible about some rather interesting answers that he had found out.

 

[Kato Hana]

Manzo trotted down the road looking for the house Takeshi had directed to him. He had been spending a lot of his time in the seedier side of the village trying to come up with leads for their quarry but up to this point he had come up with nothing. He hopped that Takeshi had better luck.

As he came upon the address that he had been given he stopped to admire it. This was not any normal house, this was one of the estates that he had always admired back in his own village. It seems that the Sennin had managed to find people with as much power and influence as he had.

He approached the guards, ”My name is Manzo, I believe I am expected.“ which it seems he was as he was escorted right in.

As he entered the room that contained Takeshi and a woman, looking to be about Manzo’s age and height but much smaller in stature, talking about desert. It seemed that he had come to the right place. Takeshi had mentioned free food in his message and while he would have come anyway, simply at the asking of his Sennin, but free food was something he would never pass up. Something anyone that looked at him could see was the case.


Waiting for the pair to finish their conversation he approached, first addressing their host. ”Hello, I am Manzo and I would like to thank you for inviting me to your home.“ pausing a moment for her chance to respond he would then turn to Takeshi. ”Thank you for thinking of me for this dinner. “ It was always good to start off being polite. He wondered why more didn’t, it often set a better mood for any conversation.
