Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Takashi Jiro
Age: 18
Physical Description:
IMG_2898.jpg

Jiro is a 5-ft-10 and weighs 150lbs. He has long, straight blonde hair that hangs to just below his shoulders and blue eyes, although the whites of his eyes are a light, barely there red. That is the only clue that he is a member of the Chigokai bloodline. The soft, porcelain, delicate appearance, among other things, makes him come off as innocent and gives him an advantage, as other people tend to underestimate the frail-looking Genin.

His arms are both covered in what appear to be ritual tattoos. There is also another ritual tattoo on his chest and a few more going down down his back, along with numerous scars on his chest and back that appear to have been placed there via torture. Most of the time, Jiro wears a loose pair of pants that are easy to move in, traditional sandals, and a simple black Flak jacket with nothing under it, which he keeps open, not caring who can see his scars and tattoos.

Mental Description: Jiro is not the most mentally stable Shinobi around. He is not even the most stable person. Due to the torture he endured at the hands of Miroku Akkuma, the Genin suffered a mental break that caused him to snap. The 18-year-old sadomasochist is generally not a threat to anyone and is, for the most part, just a rambling mess -- all bark and very little bite.

Although when he is provoked, threatened or backed into a corner, that is a completely different story. Jiro can turn violent in the blink of an eye, giving into the bloodlust that had been instilled in him by Akkuma from an early age as well as the legends of his Chigokai lineage he had been brainwashed to believe. Jiro will never go out of his way to start a fight but will finish one if he is attacked.

While being mostly a loner, the Shinobi is also an opportunist. He will use people and situations to his advantage. However, most people would be foolish to think him a true friend. If it came down to a choice between his life or someone else's, he will choose his own. Jiro has no qualms about selling people out for information either.

Jiro is also reckless. He does not have any fear and dives into things head first. He will attack first and ask questions later. He keeps his madness disguised under a facade of innocence, but it creeps out every so often. More experienced Shinobi will probably pick up on hints of the insanity that lay within him.

History and BL Application:
Pre-Birth
Takashi Mei might not have been as heartless as many people who heard about her transgression thought she was. In fact, she was a simple woman of no bloodline, clan or ninjutsu ability at all. Of course, she heard about them and adored them. But there were certain ones she had been taught to fear -- the ones that had the special bloodlines. She had been warned with what to look out for and to stay away from them, although some were more horrible than others. She was an innkeeper's daughter and saw many shinobi come and go from the village, staying in the inn to replenish their supplies and rest before going on their way the next day.

One of those shinobi happened to be a man known simply as Tetsuya. No last name had been given but there was something that drew her to the man. There was something exotic about him that attracted her like a moth to a flame. He ordered room service later that night and she volunteered to deliver it to him. Once in his room, one thing led to another and Mei had her first one night stand. She was no stranger to such acts, but usually she had been with a man for a while before engaging in such things.

The next day, Tetsuya left and Mei knew she would never see him again. She did not even know what village or country he came from! But she thought that would be the end of it. Little did she know, she had gotten pregnant from the encounter with the man with unusual red eyes. When she did find out, she was overcome with mixed emotions -- excitement, fear, anger, and sadness.

Birth - Childhood
When Jiro was born, Mei used the Takashi family name as his as she was unsure of the father's last name. He was a happy, healthy baby boy and Mei originally doted on him. She knew he was probably going to be a Shinobi and she told everyone who would listen that her son would grow up to be a great Shinobi. His childhood was relatively basic. He had grandparents and a few aunts and uncles who adored him. He also had a mother who did everything she could for him. And the happiest day of her life was when he went into the Academy.

He was eight years old when he entered the academy and those were some of the best days of his life. Jiro would go back to remember those days as his happiest days. In the year he was at the Academy, he learned so much. But when he turned nine, something happened that would soon change everything.

Chigokai Bloodline Activated
Everyone in Suna knew of the Sandwyrms, although attacks were rare in the village. They tended to be deeper in the desert, although there had been a great attack at one point or a child wandering too far from the village, only to be never heard from again which led to urban legends and horror stories of those dreaded worms. It was a common way that Suna mothers used to scare their children into obeying them, including Mei. Jiro had grown up hearing all sorts of stories about these Sandwyrms. They roamed under the sands and they were harmless until they smelled prey. If a child strayed too far from the village, a Sandwyrm would eat them.

These stories terrified Jiro and due to his fear, he never strayed. One day when he was nine, he was playing in the desert like he usually did after days at the academy while he waited for Mei to finish dinner. A few other boys and he were playing Hide and Seek -- using the techniques they learned in class to find each other. None of them were good at these techniques but they were learning. He was running to a hiding place when he tripped. There must have been a rock or a stone under the sand before he cut his knee badly. Although what he cut his knee on, he never found out. Jiro looked down, noticing his blood pooling on the sand beneath him and panic flooded him. Blood would attract a Sandwyrm then he would be eaten!

He did not know what happened but the rest of the blood began to go back into his body, not dripping anymore. It seemed that the fear had overridden his brain, activating the Chigokai bloodline he never knew he had. In fear and sobbing hysterically, Jiro ran home. He barged into the house, crying that he was bleeding. As soon as he realized it was safe and that he would not be eaten, he relaxed. The blood started flowing again. And Mei immediately knew. She had heard rumors of the bloodline and a coldness filled her. They were evil. And once they activated their bloodline, they would start sacrificing people. At least those were the rumors she had heard and she firmly believed them, being just a simple woman from a family of ordinary people. Plus she had heard the talks from the Shinobi who came into the inn.

Experimentation
Mei had heard the whispers of a man known as Miroku Akkuma, who would take certain shinobi and she began to search for all the information she could about him. Jiro kept going to the Academy, but he soon stopped going home. Mei never let on about her fears, but the boy could sense something was wrong. She did not look at him the same. She looked at him like he was a monster. So he roamed the streets, only going home after she had left for work. Mei no longer had her family watch him when she was at work. They refused after they realized what he was, so he would take care of himself until late one night when a man showed up at his house.

Jiro had been asleep when the sound of the door opening woke him. It was too early for Mei to be home and whoever it was did not sound like her. The footsteps were heavier, the shadow bigger. He got out of bed, gripping his kunai. Not that he could do much damage, but he would try. There was not much of a struggle because the older man overpowered him and he was taken away.

The young Shinobi found out later that Mei had sent the man to get him. The man's name was Miroku Akkuma, a Missing Nin with a certain reputation and he was more than willing to take Jiro as soon as he found out what his Bloodline was, and how it was already activated. The blond Nin was heartbroken at how quickly his family had abandoned him all because of the fact he was different. Akkuma had told him that it was common for Shinobi of his lineage to be abandoned but that it would be okay. He said that he would guide him through life and train him. Jiro fell into the trap and trusted him.

He learned very quickly that the man's way of guiding him involved intense torture. His body was put through various forms of abuse. Akkuma claimed it was to help better control his abilities. He was told that it was a form of training, to be able to handle the Chigokai bloodline abilities better one must learn how to control their own blood.

He went through unspeakable torture at the hands of Akkuma, developing a bloodlust that seemed to have awakened something deep inside. Even the tattoos he was subjected to were placed there for a purpose. They were limb regeneration seals that the older Shinobi had placed on him, disguised as tattoos. By the time he was seventeen, Jiro was no longer the innocent child he once was. He was reckless, fearless and insane. And he soon began to lash out violently.

The Escape & Present Day
When he turned eighteen, he tried to make a run for it. Akkuma was at the Tournament in Tea and he knew it would be then or never. It was rare that the Demon Sage ever left him unattended and he took advantage of that. He never knew whether Akkuma had known he would try to escape and wanted him to or whether he would shock Akkuma upon his return by escaping, but he knew he was free. He ran and ran but soon he started to feel sick. His chakra was dangerously low and he was weak.

The blond soon passed out from exhaustion, hunger and lack of chakra. He woke up a week later, in a hospital. Jiro panicked and tried to escape thinking it was a lab until a medi-nin calmed him down, explaining he was back in Suna, back home. The Medi-Nin explained he had been found in the woods, weakened to the verge of death. He managed to survive, barely.

It was evident when he awoke that this was not the same kid who had been sold to Akkuma nine years prior. There was something different. The scarred and tattooed young man was a shell of what he had once been. The Medi-Nins wanted to keep him for a few more days to do more exams on him, make sure he would be okay, so Jiro stayed. But he will be allowed to leave the hospital in a few days...

Please post your bio: here
Make sure you've brushed up on all the rules located: here and here
A great resource to help you find your way around here
You'll want to request an Academy Student or Genin banner here if one has not been given to you already.

Few things to note for your own sake:
  • Part of our village is underground as we have been trapped underground for the last few decades due to a terrible sandstorm we called the Diamond Maelstrom that ceased a few years ago we have moved portions of the village to the surface (namely the Kazekage Tower and Suna Residences thus far). A sandworm attack has caused massive damage to the subterranean village, the "ceiling' has been lifted off and for the first time in decades people are living under the sun.
  • Sunans are still reeling from a Cabal attack several years ago that not only threatened the integrity of the community but lost a number of lives. Many of the surviving members of The Cabal are either dead or MIA, but the damage they did still lingers.
  • A war is also brewing between Sunagakure and the Daimyo who has raised an army to destroy the village called the Sovereign. Check out our village IC/OOC Discussion areas for Event related updates concerning this ongoing village storyline!
  • Please be aware that we do have a battle system with BL and CAs, you might want to familiarize yourself with the system. While fighting is not the only aspect of the game, and one could go awhile without ever getting in a modded fight, we have increased our opportunities for modded scenarios through our ongoing village plot events!
  • Feel free to PM me or any other Sand user if you have any questions.
  • If you haven't been given Sand Access on Discord, please nudge a Sand Council member!
  • 500 yen has been awarded to you, welcome to the village and I hope you enjoy your stay in the Sand Box!

Your BL request has also been approved.
