Name: Takei Kyuso
Age: 11
Gender: Male
General Description:
Kyuso stands roughly five and a half feet from the ground, donning a slender and wiry frame reserved only for the most narrowest of archetypes. The weight of his skinny stature checks in at around one hundred and twenty pounds. His skin complexion is fair, as can be seen from the only visible parts of his body, being his large rounded ears and the small areas of his exposed upper neck. At the very top of his head is a short cropped comb over of cerulean colored hair. His garbs however consists of a slate gray mask that covers the entirety of his face with no redeeming features other than a single arching black stripe and a pair of ominous black holes that allow him visibility. From the neck down a large black shawl covers the entirety of his upper body before rounding off at knee length. The shawl is clasped at the neck and side shoulder by and array of gray fastening straps. Alongside them on each side are a pair of gray shoulder pads seemingly etched in to the design. Beneath the shawl Kysuo dawns a long sleeve black spandex shirt as well as a pair of all black ninja gloves. From the waist down a pair of navy blue pants can be found to the reach of Kysuo’s shins before a pair of black knee high ninja sandals cover the remaining distance.
History:
Born of an orthodox shinobi family, Kyuso’s clan hails from a long line of descendants dating back to the days of the original Konohagakure, prior to the red rain. Before the crimson waters and long after, Kyusuo’s family has remained loyal and steadfast over time, never abandoning the shinobi teachings, even when the social tides of the world had gone against it. During the ninja arts ban, Kyuso’s clan sought refuge underground as they were informally relegated as Yakuza. They remained however as one of the very few families who managed to retain their original books and scrolls of the old shinobi teachings in the face of modernization and advancing technology. The culture of the Takei clan is to teach and raise shinobi like the days of old, and even today they continue to practice their customs. Having been raised in the old ways, Kyuso’s knowledge and passion for the ninja arts did not come from the Konoha Corporation, but from within his clan.
He was not inspired to practice hand seals by the rise of the mainstream ninja, nor did he learn about chakra from the online tutorials of the corporation. Kyuso’s understanding of the ninja way was taught and prodded into him since birth from the ancient scrolls his family possess. As a result his greater understanding of chakra and what it means to be a ninja are organic and seemingly untouched by time. The only shortcoming of his clans old rituals are the tribal markings and tattoos that each member must don. As a result Kyuso’s entire body is covered in the ongoing network of the Takei clans tribal inking. In light of this Kyuso wears a mask covering his face and leaves no part of his body exposed, but rather, covered by garment in an effort to appeal to todays social palette of acceptance. In spite of this, Kyuso still remains persistent in continuing his ninja education, seeking now the instruction of the modern shinobi at the new academy in Leaf City.
