Name: Takeji Arata
Age:10
Physical Description: Arata has a little, 132 centimeters tall body, weighing roughly 29 kilograms. Even among those his age, he is, much to his dismay, one of the shorter and smaller kids in class. Too short to reach the cookie jar, but he does appreciate his skinniness and his small body, even though, apparence-wise, he doesnt stand out much. He has dark hair and eyes, and light skin. He always dresses in light, comfortable clothes. Usually a long sleeved shirt and sports trousers to keep him warm and comfortable. He occasionally ties some cloth on his body to resemble a forehead protector that he wishes to wear one day. He tries it in many different styles, sometimes on his forehead normally, sometimes on his limbs or waist, unable to decide what suits him best. It's uncomfortable for him, but he dreams of being a shinobi with one of those.
Even though he doesn't look any special, he has an image in his head for when he grows into "a cool chunin rank ninja"
(Face claims: Fairy tail - Romeo conbolt, Rogue Cheney)
Mental Description: "N-no way... J-just you wait! I'll grow old, and I'll become 11, and then no one will be taller than me!" Despite being too lazy to satisfy it, Arata's competitiveness is great. He doesn't know how to think of anything, other than homework, as a competition, which he can't just accept to lose at. Without the heat of it he makes by shouting and rejecting loss, however, he wouldn't even bother to win anything. As long as he doesn't have a rival, Arata would be stuck on a couch with some snacks. It never was a matter of winning anyway, it was all not to accept defeat in front of anyone.
He may not be the typical naughty child, but he is all but quiet that's for sure. "Hey sensei, can I sneak out of class for the day? I'm tired of your lectures." He rarely skips class, but when he does, no one noticed him. No one want to, anyway. If a stufent doesn't attend class, it could affect his grades. If Arata does attend class, it affects the whole class's grades, surprisingly, except his. It's perhaps a good memory or a lot of cramming before the exams, but this loudmouth actually can get average grades when he has just read about a subject in exam night. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with jutsu. Fortunately, he actually likes physical training when he isn't too busy procrastinating.
He is a cheerful and kind child, even though he doesn't seem to like anybody. Naturally, no one would like him back, being the bad child hanging usually in the naughty corner of his class, throwing jokes from there. Perhaps some do like his jokes, but not him himself, it appears. He gets the attention he needs when he disturbs class, and he actually wants a lot of it. Maybe he wouldn't go out of his way to get attention, but Arata appreciates it a lot when someone seems to be concerned at all about him.
History: "They're home, wherever that is~" Arata never knew his parents or saw them before. As far as he remembers, he ran away from an orphanage when he decided he wants to enroll in the academy to become a shinobi. He has memories of living once with an old man, but they are hazy.
Lacking a family or any friends, Arata really enjoys being at the academy, surrounded by people he, for better or for worse, never thought are only there for any other reason than to be with him. Out of class, he is busy trying to survive. He usually found jobs that paid him enough to barely live off. And, as an academy student, he could sometimes go on missions with genins. He was usually able to afford food, cloth, and a little house to sleep at, but rarely any luxury. All he had to make up for that is his cheerful attitude, always thinking positively of a bright way ahead, dreaming of a future where he could afford some luxury, and had friends who wouldn't leave him after class ends. He wanted to make so much out of his life, not caring to be remembered for long, but he would attract a lot of attention if he showed to be successful. He didn't care to be remembered for generations to come, he just didn't wish to be forgotten while he is still around.
