Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kasha - Demon of the ANBU

It had been awhile since stepping foot in the prison, and it had been just as long since returning to the headquarters for the secret force of the village; the ANBU. Since the overrunning of the Cabal's anarchy, which seemingly started with the opening of the prison's gates, one could only image what was left of the innards. By this point, Roku under his masked guise had done a fairly quiet job of eliminating or subduing escaped criminals. Since his work was personally driven, he continued to work without the guidance of the ANBU HQ, while still carrying their visage. Maybe there would be repercussions, however, with the limited amount of ANBU he had seen on the scenes during his own personal battle with the Cabal and madness he would honestly be surprised if anyone noticed, or if anyone was left. Visually it seemed that the ANBU of Suna had disappeared, and maybe that was all part of their trick. Long ago, when he was first admitted a full member of the ANBU under the codename Titan, Roku once drew the ire of the Sennin, Mikaboshi. Since then, the Sennin had been nothing more than an urban legend. There had been tales of him making more appearances around the village, but mostly just hearsay. In all honesty, it seemed like the ANBU were much in the same boat; just hearsay.

Clad in an attire that he had fought countless battles in, Roku was now once more in his Kasha garb. He would approach the entrance to the only room to grant visitors, which wasn't necessarily correct as it was more like the room for those requesting the services of the ANBU, which would not just be your random visitor. Looking around he would notice the place more-or-less quiet and empty. This did not bode well for his belief of how the corps had fared following the Cabal incursion.

So far, everything was quiet. This was not shocking by any means. There was a cold efficiency that this organization worked under. He would move calmly past the initial room until making his way to a large black stone door. Emitting chakra and running his fingers in a set pattern he would wait, and much to his surprise the door would slowly start to release and allow him passage inwards.

Didn't change the locks, that is good.

As the door opened he would be greeted by something he had not expected to see, honestly; ANBU in waiting. The room he was now entering was like the inverse of the first room. Where it was a place for those seeking the aid of the corps could come to requests, this room was where they would wait until time to act. The would not make much movement to acknowledge the entering Roku, but again that wasn't anything surprising. They were trained to be precise instruments, so reacting to another soldier entering would be a completely wasteful movement. They were surgical, one of the things, in contrast to when he is not wearing the mask he is too fond of. In his regular street attire he was an impulsive brute. In his mask he was a calm shadow that would work without emotion.

We aren't completely wiped out, that is good.

He would continue to make his way to a large board. On this board was a graph that had symbols of various designs all scattered about. It seemed like there was some pattern, some meeting to the jumble mass of drawings, and there was but it would be one that not your average joe could come in and comprehend. Looking over the board he would notice that some of the symbols had a diagonal marking going through them. This was important.

So we did lose rank.

Then he would notice something that would take him back a bit. His eyes would grow fixated on a single symbol that held value to him; it was the one representing him. This symbol had a marking going through it.

I was declared a goner, interesting.

Reaching up with his white gloved hand, Roku would run his finger down the marking. He would continue until the line was no more, he wanted the corp to know he was still present.

Hmmm... not Titan anymore though.

He would continue rubbing his finger against the symbol until it was no more. He would then begin to draw a replacement symbol, one that would make reference to his current, even if he chose it on his own, code name; Kasha.

Better.

His eyes, not visible with the way his mask was designed, would begin to scan around the area. He still had business he wanted to conduct within these walls.
