Medusa headed straight for the harbor once she was outside the village. Hades trailed behind her slowly, disappearing from time to time to hide amongst the shadows and follow as a respectful distance. Medusa could manage to keep herself safe, for sure, but he was a reliable ally and would act as an unseen body guard should the need arise. They made their way to the docks, approaching a seafaring vessel that had sat for some time. It had been ages sine Medusa had properly taken her ship out of harbor. When her mother was around, she spent the majority of her time aboard the ship, plundering unsuspecting merchant boats as they traveled to and from Suna. Medusa preferred to make her month using other methods, and as such found her line of work far more beneficial within the village walls. Still, she was born and raised about this ship and she would be damned if she saw it just gathering dust. Even after a few years landside, she knew how to captain the ship. She paid a few freelance deckhands to help her operate the ship while she steered, but overall it was a fairly small crew. Hades, once aboard, found himself making his way down to the holding cells, where he turned on an old lantern and opened a book. Medusa ordered for a few of the deckhands to man the sails and set course for Kumo.
