The central tower of Torre Empirea
It had been a tumultuous year since the so called holy war waged by the Tenouzans, and the subsequent uprising by nobility to try and seize power of the entire country. And with people awakening chakra capability all over the country, with the suppression devices now gone, the leader needed to be someone capable of controlling such untamed forces. In the end, Kitsune as the Raikage, and a noble of the country, had stepped up to the plate and quelled the other nobles with the infinitely helpful assistance of her three sennin: Rei, Miro, and Midori, putting the nobles and their pocket armies in their place.
It had taken a while, but the reality of the situation had begun to settle in, and Kitsune finally properly realized what it meant. She now not only had a shinobi city to run, but an entire country of people with chakra potential in need of training so they wouldn’t cause trouble down the line. She’d spent the past few days just roaming the towers, attending meetings (that could’ve been emails), handling paperwork that couldn’t be delegated away, and in the little downtime she had, working on various mechanical contraptions, and performing maintenance on her vehicle.
Yes there were people to do such things, very skilled mechanics in fact. But Kitsune relaxed with doing these things, so she preferred doing it herself. Sometimes she figured out ways to improve upon her original designs, and other times she’d taken input from outside and integrated it into the various systems running through the automobile. The engine had been rebuilt a few times over at this point, to try and improve the performance and make it perform to the same speeds as a shinobi running at top speed. If anything it was nice to get from A to B without having to run the whole way, and unlike the trains crisscrossing the country, this vehicle left when Kitsune wanted it to.
