Mental Description
Despite his young age as a shinobi, If you can even call him that, Seto fallows in the footsteps of his father, Tamashi Taichi in the hopes of gaining his approval and recognition. As such, much like his father, Seto has acquired many traits carried by his father. At the foremost of his personality, he is a serious, calm & collected individual whom is often too blunt for his own good, often going so far as to not sugar coat a known fact or situation unless he feels It would do more harm than good. Going in hand with his serious demeanor, Seto has become pragmatic due to his constant preparation for the day he succeeds his father as the head of the Tamashi Clan. As a consequence, he often takes a realistic approach to most things in life, believing one should only reach or aspire to things they can achieve. With influence from his father, he has also taken a likening to the concept that one's problems could potentially be solved through well thought polices and rules, as well as doing what is needed for the survival of the clan. This can often put him at odds with others that disagree with his methods or choices. In the worst case scenario's, they may even label him "malevolent" or "merciless" but he finds himself content with such decisions most of the time. While he can be described as a heartless little monsters at times, that status couldn't be farthest from the truth. In reality, Seto, like the rest of his family and kinsmen, he is a firm believe in the Clan's ideology, which includes that all kinsmen view one another as family, regardless of status. As such, he holds no greater love than for his family, clan and especially, Shizu, whom he do anything to protect, even If it means using less than honorable means to achieve it.
On a more positive light, much like his kinsmen, Seto is a stern follower in the code of Bushido that were created by the Samurai of old. Though It often conflicts with his much more realistic mindset on life, Seto does try his best to be a honorable, courageous individual whom is humble yet noble in spirit. When he isn't agitated or otherwise annoyed, he does believe in being polite and kind towards those who show the same. The same can be said for the several other tenants of Bushido. To be merciful towards those who show honor or those who pose threat. To be a individual of justice towards those who deserve it, and to be loyal towards those who loyalty in return, regardless of what shape it comes in. The same cannot be said for self control however, as to due to his young rage, Seto is still capable of being immature at intervals , and much to his father's disdain, can be overly romantic towards his fiancé and future wife, Shizu when he shows affection. This has made him somewhat of a hopeless romantic, and is truly the only thing he is naive about in life, often taking a idealistic standpoint about love and marriage. Wanting to keep his Shizu happy, he can sometimes be found reading similar related content in secret in the hopes of impressing her further when their alone. This can even go so far as him sweet talking other women nearby so he can better himself when talking to Shizu, though this sometimes earns her ire. This type of behavior often gives others the impression he is a "pervert" or as a "flirt". Regardless, one thing his kinsmen and classmates can agree on however, is that he has the "silver tongue" of a rogue.

History
Born into the Tamashi Clan's main branch under it's head, Tamashi Taichi and his first wife, Tamashi Reina, as their second child, It wouldn't take long before It would be decided that he would become the future leader of the Tamashi Clan. As such, shortly after his birth, as to ensure the future of the Tamashi Clan, It was arranged he would marry a promising, young maiden from amongst the many branch families of the Clan, thus ensuring their son would have at least one wife when he came of age. Regardless, as soon as he was able, his parents would waste no time in preparing him in his future responsibilities as the next Lord of the Tamashi Clan. This would vary greatly, from being taught the concept of warfare and swordsmanship by his father, to the art of diplomacy, court etiquette and even courtship by his mother. It would be around this time he would finally met his future wife, Shizu during his rare times of leisure of relaxation. Though their time together was initially sparse, that would soon change once Shizu showed her potential, not only to be a warrior of the clan but as a shinobi as well. Consequently, once this was discovered, It wouldn't be long before the two found themselves training and studying under the same roof, leading to the two becoming close and eventually, becoming something more. Although Seto was oblivious by his parent's doing for the vast majority of his life, the same couldn't be said for Shizu. As all good things have to come a end eventually, everything would change once the Tenouza war broke out. With the Tenouza providence and Kumogakure itself under threat, his father led his clan to war while he was left home with the women and non combatant members of the clan, much to his dismay. Although this would grant him much free time with Shizu, It made him feel powerless in the end, not being able to fight alongside his father to help defend their country from the enemy. This would in turn eventually culminate in him entering a depressed state despite Shizu's best efforts.
Much to his surprise however, things would take a step in the right direction once his eldest, sister, Ren had returned from the war after sustaining an injury, and as soon as she was able, she would take her younger brother under her wing and continue his training. Although her training was harsh, brutal even compared to what he was used to previously, her training would eventually result in the discovery of his innate ability to control chakra. With such a discovery, he would have thought he would have been sent to the academy, but much to his disappointment, with Kumogakure itself under threat, he had no choice but remain where he was, If only to keep the main heir safe. In the mean time however, as the war drew on, his sister continued his training, although this time, she would begin his training as a ninja. While he would excel in Tailjutsu, as evident by his ancestry in the Nanjirou and Uchicha bloodlines, his skills in Genijutsu and even Ninjutsu would fall flat, right on his head. No matter how hard he trained, he seemingly couldn't provide results. This in turned, prompted him to want to give up on being a shinobi and instead, continue his training as just a samurai. Life would, instead prove him wrong one fateful night when his very home would come under assault by a group of insurgents, whom somehow, had managed to infiltrate the main keep. In the end, after a lengthy battle between his eldest sister and the assassins, he would regain his conviction to become a shinobi after he had narrowly saved the lives of his family, albeit at the near cost of his own life. In doing so however, revealed his true heritage as a Uchicha and not as a Nanjirou, when he activated the sharingan for the very first time, allowing him to gut a unexpecting assassin, using his mother's tanto while in her defense. By the time war came to a end and his father returned with what warriors remained, nothing had changed between them. With the prospect of a civil war on the horizon due to past events, he was again abandoned by his father. Despite this however, he wouldn't squander this opportunity to train and develop his skills further. With the assistance of his sister, fiancé and several other notable members of the Clan, he was able to increase his skills by a notable margin, so much so, that by the time he was allowed to enter the Kumogakure academy after the current Raikage had thwarted the uprising for a civil war, he was already far beyond most of his peers in his class, aside from Shizu of course who had began her shinobi training long before him. Between the intense, often brutal training he underwent for most of his life by his parents & eldest sister, and the shinobi training he received while at the academy, It took no less than a single year for him to graduate from the academy as a genin, but that didn't mean his training was over, far from it. As far as he was concerned, the worse had yet to come.
