Character's Physical Description: Yukari is tall like her father, her hair is curly and nearly untamable like her mother’s. Her eyes are yellow. She is her mother’s daughter in that she’s a practical dresser. She ties her curly brown hair back in a loose ponytail. She’s got freckles like both her parents.
Character's Mental Description: Yukari is smart, and like her mother before her, is unlikely to seek anything but adventure. She’s maybe not the sharpest tool in the shed, but showed promise with Lightning ninjutsu like her mother, at an early age. After all, she has the blood of the Santaru running within her blood.
Character History: Tanaka Yukari and her family have long been associated with Kumogakure. The Tanakas have an established history as merchants and teachers. They’re also- through marriage and a daughter, Yukari’s mother, Hikari- associated with the Santaru and Takaki clan. After certain events involving the death of her mother’s uncle, and then the shaky political state it left Kumo in, her mother realized she could no longer serve as a Sennin. With familial obligations- including marriage, looming, Hikari left her village for a quieter life, much to her own chagrin. She settled down and played the role of family matriarch. She had two children. Tanaka Yukari, and Tanaka Kumokari(The family bear- Yes, literally a bear. Hikari counted him as her first child). The younger, and only human child of the Tanaka clan did at first, assume the responsibilities her mother had, at her age, so readily shirked. She studied hard, and put as much of herself as she could, into becoming what her parents expected- a fitting heir. But something didn’t quite… fit, for Yukari.
Growing up with the stories of her mother’s victories, and eventual defeats… Yukari longed for something different… Exciting… Something that mattered. A return. She wanted to go home- to her mother’s home, in Kumo. She wanted to try her hand, and hammer. So she approached her parents, and explained. Their blessing was easily obtained. She returned to her mother's old home, the home of the Tanaka, in Cloud. While living with her grandparents, she studied at the Academy eventually graduating to Genin. In recent times, she has trained for and passed her Chunnin exams.
