Physical Description: At first glance you might suspect that Mori is a bit older than he actually is. He stands just about five feet tall. He is unique among his peers as a bit taller and perhaps a bit heavier. His hair is a light gray that gracefully falls down to the bottom of his neck and he typically has a few strands obscuring one side of his face at a time. The color of his eyes are cool steel grey that flash with a sense of sharp intellect.
Mental Description: Mori is a quiet boy. Prone to only express his thoughts with those he feels he can trust. But once he speaks people can tell it's something they should listen to. He is also very practical and thinks in a very logical manner. Mori is slow to anger and overall a very peaceable individual. If he does get upset, he typically chooses to ignore the person inciting him and work out the problem after his anger has subsided. Mori has always been praised for his great intellect and ability to learn things quickly. His interactions with people can seem like he is being distant when, in fact, he is just listening to what is being said and formulating, what he feels to be, the appropriate response.
History: Mori likes to spend his free time sitting on the plains of the desert watching the wind twirl the sand into the air. It's almost soothing enough to forget that he's spent his entire life in and out of an orphanage. The only reason he knows his name is because the woman that left him at the orphanage when he was an infant told the person working at the time that he was to be named Tanaka, Mori. After spendind his first five years at the orphanage, Mori ran away to live on the streets. This was the first of many times Mori chose to leave the orphanage to try and make his life better on his own. It is particularly memorable because as he was wandering the streets he bumped into a masked man while walking on the street. This man took Mori in for the night, fed and dressed him and told him to grow up strong to fight for Sunagakure. He also said that if Mori was strong and smart enough that maybe one day Mori would become an Anbu like the himself. After that day Mori spent all of his time and efforts training into becoming the best shinobi he could so that when he was old enough he could enter the ninja academy and become an Anbu after. While in the academy, Mori learned everything very quickly and was swiftly moved through the various activities. This caught the attention of an Anbu shinobi named Toumei as he walked by the academy one day. After speaking with Mori's teachers, Toumei set a meeting time with Mori to discuss his future. They talked for hours about many things, seemingly as family, and in the end Toumei expressed his interest in taking Mori as an Anbu in training after his graduation from the academy. Mori was ecstatic and once back at the academy redoubled his efforts. He has since graduated and is awaiting the day he gets a knock on the door to join the Anbu and honor the man who once showed him great compassion.
