Name: Tanatsu Kino
Age: 13
Physical Description: When looking at Kino, the family rebalance is clear. His hair is raven leaning black and his eyes are a honey brown that catch most light. His skin is mostly pale with some small freckling on the shoulders and bridge line of his nose. His body has several scars including one large scar on his right cheek from a fight he had with another kid at the orphanage. His stature is thinner and tall for his age. He has worked out for some time and has actually put some build to his frame as a result. Additionally he has one small section of grey/white hair that hangs just above his face.
Mental Description: The best way to describe Kino is an alley cat personality. He is particularly standoffish and likes to be left alone for the most part. He has a tendency to become hot headed rather quickly and can be incredibly loyal, even in situations where he definitely shouldn't be. While he is scrappy, he is more known to complain before anything else. His logic is if it's actually worth doing someone will insist, otherwise if he complains he won't have to do something trivial or worthless simply by pushing back. All and all, he's a pain in the ass.
History: When Kino was young, his mother and younger sister were exiled from they're family. This left him to be raised by his father in the leaf village. His father, a drunkard, did very little to raise him and left him to his own devices. His family was not of any standing in the village, and kino dreamed of changing that.. making something of himself and his family name. At eleven his father passed away after getting into a bar fight, leaving young kino alone once more. He was sent to the orphanage of the leaf district, where his callous attitude and less than kind antics landed him into repeated trouble. He eventually decided it was time for a change and signed up for the academy, in hopes that it would result in a better life for him. In reality, what he wanted more than a better life was a chance to reconnect with any family he had, and being a Shinobi gave him the ability to pursue that. With the goal of finding his sister Neko, he now looks forward to learning the ways of the Shinobi and becoming a stronger fighter, smarter kid, and more successful family name in the future. He could care less about the heroics of it all, but at least this gave him the chance he never thought he could have.
Bloodline/Core ability: Opportunist application-
Kino has fought for basically everything he has, and ever opportunity that's been placed in front of him, he's jumped on. Being a kid with his level of anger and angst, he's often found himself in scraps with others over simple misunderstandings. However one thing that's always remained true, is in those moments his analytical mind has won him the day. It has always been that when put under pressure Kino found time slowed for him, weak points exposed themselves, and even three steps ahead were always clear. If asked about it, he would describe it as seeing things others simply couldn't, and that about summed it up. He could look at a situation and know that if they were to throw a right that they'd expose they're ribs, and that if they exposed their ribs, he could drop low and crack one before they'd have a chance to counter balance themselves or correct their movements. But this was not only in fighting situations as Kino had a bit of an addiction to analysis, he started implementing this into ever situation he could. Whether it was cheating on an exam, understanding that the orderly at the hospital was having an affair, or just tracking birds as they moved between roof tops.. Kino was quickly becoming obsessed with his day to day understanding of the world. With this ability and understanding, he has focused it down to a mixed desire to be better than those around him and the best at what he is. Cocky, by his own admission, but if he was to apply it.. it also was not inaccurate.
