History
Misora is the eldest daughter of the Shirogane Clan, a minor clan that pays tribute to the Shoukyou Clan in several ways--one being their careful avoidance of bloodline ancestry as well. They mostly work with herbs and medication, though typically send at least one child per generation to the Academy.
This time around, Misora was chosen. Part of it was out of desire on her part, and the other part was that she was set up in an arranged marriage with Tatsuya, the next heir of the Shoukyou Clan, and it was thought it would be a better idea if she could defend herself. Her desire, however, stemmed not from her childhood friend, but from something...else. 'Harp' is an entity that latched onto Misora at a young age, claiming to be a spirit. Whether she--or the personality that takes over when Harp merges with Misora, 'Harp Note'--is an actual being or just a split personality, no one in the know has ever quite figured out. Her family has no knowledge of Harp at all, and only a select few friends do.
Either way, Harp instilled in the already-energetic Misora the ability to carry a tune, driving her forward in music lessons as well as her career. Eschewing the piano that her parents would rather her have learned, Misora picked up an electric guitar at a young age and hasn't looked back since. She achieved some minor status of her own through her playing, and occasionally performs concerts here and there while not on missions--usually under the guise of Harp Note.
Personality
Misora is cheerful, energetic, and widely considered just a bit ditzy due to her tendency to stare off into space sometimes while listening to Harp and respond not caring who hears her. She has a tendency to hum when she's listening to someone, though people often mistake it for not listening. She is carefree, not bothered by what people might think of her intelligence, and more than a touch devious. She is very hard to offend, but once someone has done so they likely won't like the result--not that anyone will be able to trace it back to her.
Harp is the devil on her shoulder, chipping in suggestions for things to do which are often heeded. She encourages Misora to be even more reckless than she is, although this part is only heeded when there's no other options.
Harp Note is rightfully a fusion of the two, a devil-may-care adventure queen most likely to do whatever thing she gets a charge out of. This sometimes invovles concerts, sometimes higher risk missions, and sometimes just whatever the hell happens to be available, but none of Misora's trace ditziness can be found here, that pretense dropped entirely. Nor does she hold any malice at all to anyone--she may do the job no matter what it is, but no hard feelings, right?
