Ryong Kyo-Moon is an 18 year old male who appears to be much older due to some of his relatively bad habits and stress. He stands at 5'7" (67cm) tall and weighs 147 lbs (66.67kg) in weight. His hair is black and appears scraggly and unkempt. He has his hair up in a top-knot with a wooden needle sticking through it rather than using a typical wrap to keep it in place. His hair would normally fall down onto his shoulders and would wave in the wind, resembling that of a wild man who lived in the wilderness his entire life (which wasn't too far from the truth). He normally wears tattered clothes hat barely covering his chest and abs.
His body is covered in scars ranging from stab wounds, scratch wounds from swords and other assortment of blades, slashes from what appeared to be claws and several wounds that look like bite marks. Regardless of what others may perceive of his wounds and battle scars, he wears them with pride. He only wears a single wound over his face.
Character's Mental Description:
Kyo-Moon cannot be seen as a very compassionate man, having grown numb to the horrors of the world. Grown numb from the horrors inflicted upon himself and the ones he love to those horrors inflicted to complete strangers. All of it seemed quite surreal for a time until he eventually stopped caring altogether. A person's life holds no value to Kyo-Moon, not rushing to save another person's life nor expecting them to save his. The only person he cares about is his companion "Dakota" his wolf.
Kyo-Moon holds no loyalty to the village that he was born in; Kumogakure and he holds no regard to any of the citizens, supervision, nor for the Raikage themselves. If the Raikage was being murdered right before his eyes, he would simply watch. He wouldn't participate but he would most certainly allow it to happen.
That is, until one has gained Kyo's respect. Once a person has gained Kyo's respect, they have a friend for life (or until they cross him). He will go out of his way to help those who have gained his respect even if it means condemning innocent people that he has absolutely no interest for. Currently, nobody has gained Kyo-Moon's respect other than his companion "Dakota".

Kyo doesn't remember his parents. He doesn't remember if his parents were nurturing or if they loved him. What he did remember was the cold. It was cold and it was lonely on this mountain. The blistering cold wind blew, covering everything in white through the timberland, barely clinging to the life of the timberline. Things started to get darker and darker before he heard a howling of wolves. 'That's it', a young Kyo thought to himself. His short life had already ended at the tender age of 4. He doesn't remember whether or not his family abandoned him in this desolate hell or if he walked out here on his own volition. The answer didn't matter much as he would become food for the wild beasts. Kyo just closed his eyes and let the cold take him.
He woke up several days later to find himself in a den of wolves. Their eyes pierced through the darkness like daggers through a cloth. One wolf, in particular, had exceptionally sharp eyes. Her name was Kita and she was the matriarch of this den. Kyo woke up to find himself nestled in between two of the younger pups, wolves as big as he. Upon feeling Kyo move, the wolf pups jumped up and started to lick Kyo as if they just saw a dear friend for the first time in ages. Even with the jovial greeting from the siblings, Kita still gave a piercing look towards the boy. He still remembered the common tongue of man, but words like those won't work on wolves. No, he had to blend in with the beasts in order to live with the beasts.
His gratitude and trust was gained as Kita slid over a slab of raw meat across the ground, picking up whatever leaves and dirt onto the meat. Without even thinking, Kyo tore into the flesh as if he was one of them. It was then that Kyo became a part of the den. He lived with the wolves, learning from non-verbals from Kita and grew year by year with the twins; Moka and Dakota. The twins grew up to be beautiful and powerful wolves. They grew bigger and stronger than the other wolves, growing to 3 times the usual size; standing as tall as a man with snow-white hair that was always pristine, even when covered in the blood of their prey.
He learned how to hunt and track with these creatures, played with these creatures, and even groomed with the creatures. He might have been an ugly wolf, but the wolves (Moka and Dakota) both treated Kyo like their sibling. They defended one another from bears and other giant monstrosities and fantastic beasts. One day while tackling some fantastic beasts, a single howl could be heard. At this time, Kyo was only 13 years old and he saw the one that he considered to be his mother, Kita, get shot by a poacher. A big wolf standing at over 7 feet tall from paw to top of the head. The group of poachers started to harvest what they could from Kita, laughing about their 'big haul'.
Enraged, the siblings and Kyo ran towards the poachers, only for the poachers to shoot Moka in the face, killing her instantly. Several more shots from their single-round rifles blast through the air, hitting Kyo in the stomach and Dakota on the shoulder. Adrenaline and anger fueled them to continue until, after a few more shots later and brief fight, Kyo and Dakota came out victorious. Standing up, Kyo gathered Moka's dead body, bringing it to lay near the disemboweled remains of their mother and the two howled for the remainder of the night.
The very next day, the pain from Kyo's and Dakota's injuries started to settle in. A couple of local shinobi noticed a mound in the snow and went to retrieve what was left, being the living bodies of Kyo and Dakota. Finding himself in the intensive care unit, he noticed Dakota also receiving care from the hospital. He went in and out of consciousness until he finally blacked out. He woke up to find himself in the prison with Dakota nowhere in sight. He jumped to his feet and rattled the cage he was locked in and barked at the humans. It seemed that Kyo was easily identified by the ANBU there.
"Ryong Kyo-Moon. Lost son of Ryong Dae-Gil and Ryong Lee-Sun. It's been a while lad," spoke one of the men dressed in a full ANBU attire. "Can you speak our tongue any more?" the man asked calmly with Kyo growling and reaching out for the ANBU. "Well, I take it you probably don't care much for your parents so I have a deal to give you. Since they abandoned you, I believe you might want to get even with them," the man said. These words were enough to calm him down, calming him down enough to listen. Kyo nodded and the man continued. After the ANBU was finished, Kyo spoke in the common tongue for the first time in almost a decade.
"I want Dakota. Dakota come with me. Where Dakota?" he said in broken english, having troubles formulating full sentences due to lack of practice. With that, the ANBU agreed.
Several days later, Kyo returned to the prison covered in blood and holding several fingers in his possession. Dakota, herself, was also covered in blood. Meeting him at the door, the same ANBU from before nodded his head. "Good. They were doing some really shady things and they were placed upon our hit list. Very good. Now I will give you one more choice," the man said before rubbing his chin.
"Join us, the ANBU. We will give you plenty more jobs like that, which I'm certain you enjoyed, am I right?" he asked as he looked at Kyo. Kyo didn't give him a response, but the look in his eyes was enough of a tell. "Or spend the rest of your life rotting in jail for murder. What's your choice?"
It didn't take long for Kyo to respond. "Let me kill some more."
The man smiled under his ANBU mask and nodded his head. He took the collection of fingers from Kyo, tossing them onto the ground and held his hand out to the boy. "Welcome to ANBU and welcome back to Kumogakure, lad."
