Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

[spoilername="Shinobi 101"]Her sensei, the one strung-out on drinking coffee, held a cup in his hand as he instructed Kaori on how to use a bow.
He took a quick sip of his coffee and twitched a little bit. "So, Kaori, your parents have hired me to show you how to use a bow. They said something about 'the Dragon Priestess needs to use the weapon of a Dragon Priestess' or something like that. Kind of hoo-ha in my opinion, but I'm getting paid regardless. Anyway, what you have in your hand is called a compound bow. Those are really easy to use, even someone of your frailty should be able to use it effortlessly. Since you are left handed, you will take the bow into your right hand," he said as Kaori followed what she was told, holding the bow firmly in her right hand.

"Good, now you will pull the bow-string with your left, strong hand," the instructor said as he took another sip of coffee. He twitched once again as he gagged at the strong taste of the coffee. Normally, he would flip out and 'change forms' so to speak, but apparently the flavor of this coffee is inhibiting that. "Good, good, Now pull the string back and aim it at the target down there," he said as he took another begrudging sip of his coffee. Kaori pulled the string back, with surprising ease and aimed at the target.

"Good, now release and put an arrow into it. Don't aim it at anything you have no intention of shooting," the man said before she pulled an arrow out of the quiver behind her back and threaded it. She pulled the arrow back and accidentally let it go without permission. The arrow flew high up into the air and the bow flung back away from her, causing her instructor to dodge by merely moving his head.

"Doesn't seem like the bow is your weapon of choice. I brought over a little something that you might like," he said as he pulled out a long rifle.
He threaded a couple of bullets into the magazine and plunged the magazine into the gun and handed it to her. Kaori took the weapon and she almost fell forward, surprised at the heaviness of the weapon. She struggled to aim the weapon.

"Very similar, but now you," he said before instructing her on how to use a rifle. "Okay. Now pretend it's your fist and fire it out towards the t--"
he said before she fired, leaving behind a ringing in his ears. However, as she shot, the rifle recoiled upwards, almost causing Kaori to fall back.
The bullet, however, hit spot-on to it's intended spot.

"Hey, that's pretty good!" the man said before taking another sip of coffee. But yeah,
pretend it's like your fist and you should be able to hit your target---" he said as he was interrupted by Kaori reloading and putting another bullet into the chamber and firing at the target again, hitting the same hole she used earlier.

Kaori fell back this time on her back and cried out in pain. "Ow ow ow ow! But whoa! That thing blows out like dragon fire! That's super cool!
pretending it's like me throwing my fist was a great idea!" she said as she looked around. "Can you hear me?" she asked as her ears started to ring.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Hidden Power"]"Good, now put that rifle away," said the man holding his coffee in his hand. He twitched a bit before clearing his throat. Kaori did as she was directed to and placed the rifle upon the ground and approached her sensei.
She had a confused look in her eyes as she approached him.

"This part of your training is going to suck, I won't lie. So you better prepare yourself," the man said before setting his coffee down. He adjusted his glasses and appeared to vanish, causing Kaori to look around in confusion before receiving a side-kick to her back, causing her to fly forward.
With a groan, she stood up.

"What was that for?" she asked with annoyance.

"This part of your training is to toughen you up. Just because things don't go your way shouldn't stop your momentum. You need to maintain a positive attitude, even during the heat of battle. Essentially," he said as he adjusted his glasses. "I'm going to beat the crap out of you and you're going to like it,"
he said. This caused an even more confused look to cross Kaori's face before she felt the bottom of her sensei's shoe upon her face, causing her to tumble backwards. Before she was finished tumbling, she quickly changed directions, returning to the direction she came from with another kick to her body.

Afterward, her body laid limp and the man walked over, reaching for his coffee and placing the cup back into his mouth for a sip. Now he just sat and waited. Kaori felt pain all over her body.
I want to be a shinobi of Konohagakure!​

A spark ignited a fire within Kaori, forcing her back up to her knees. "That hurt," she said in a weak voice before slowly getting back up to her feet.
Her knees wiggled, trying to stay firmly planted. Nodding his head, her sensei adjusted his glasses. "Good! You should feel a bit stronger now~"
he said before taking another sip. A cough could be heard from Kaori as she put her hands up, as if ready to fight.

"I think that's enough for the day," he said before nodding once more. Kaori looked around once more before collapsing to her knees and shouted out in pain. "Now, take the rest of the day off and I would suggest taking a warm bath and then a cold bath, otherwise the swelling will become abominable," he said before walking off.

"What the heck!" she said before smiling a bit. "Well, I guess Mina would be happy about that, huh? I didn't give up, Mina. I'm going to make your dream come true, you hear me?" she said with a little laugh before collapsing on the ground. She let out a little groan due to the pain.[/spoilername]

Kaori shook her head and shouted. "I don't want this! I'm a human being, I should be allowed to go outside and make friends! The Great Dragon will forgive me for acting human!" she shouted out before opening her eyes. The room turned into a strange dark red color, revealing that the Ryuugan was activated. There was a rumbling and shaking in the Shrine. The man that would administer the punishment looked around and dropped the strap for a moment.

"No! I'm not going to let you run away!" Kaori said as she locked eyes with the man before his body locked up for a brief moment, falling over like timber. After falling over, his body loosened up and he started to flail, screaming in agony. "What did you do! My body's on FIRE!" he said as he rolled around the room, shouting in agony.

"An illusion, hmmm?" her mother stated as a grin crept across her lips. "I suppose I'll let you off this time, Kaori," her mother said as she witnessed the entire thing happening. Kaori couldn't, in her right mind, strike at her mother. Kaori's eyes returned to normal, causing an immense amount of pain in her eyes, causing her to fall over and begin to weep into her palms. The man sat up and looked towards Kaori, backing up and running away.

[spoilername="Shinobi 101"]Kaori woke up the very next day after only a few hours of sleep. A question was on her mind; how did she cause a man to believe he was on fire. Something like this would be a better weapon than using a rifle. Strangely enough, at the academy, there was talk of basic genjutsu information. Perhaps she found a way to alter the nerve path and even attack the man's mind with mere thought. Certainly, this was only a freak accident, but being able to torment someone's mind was something shinobi are capable of doing?

This did seem like a more powerful weapon than any rifle could do. After class and before her next lesson with Coffee-Sensei, she handed the man the rifle and nodded her head. "I've made my mind up. Instead of using that painful thing, I want to use my fists and Genjutsu!" she exclaimed.
The man pushed his glasses up with his middle finger and nodded. "Very well, expect hell to come from me then when i teach you how to use Genjutsu," Coffee-sensei said. She nodded, "Alright!" she said enthusiastically.

Do everything you can to hurt them. These gloves will be what keeps you alive, Kaori, so treat them like they are an extension of your body," she said to herself as she laid in her bed, holding out each of the gloves, wearing one of each glove on a hand;
the Dragon Fist in her left, dominant hand and the Gloves of Divine Dragon Flame in her right hand. She flexed her hands and looked at the back before turning them over to look at the palm.

"These are my weapons that will carve out my own future. MY own future," she said to herself, quietly before balling both hands into a fist.
She grew tired of having her life determined for herself. Her alarm finally rang, showing the time to be 4:30 AM, just the time for her to wake up and begin her chores at the Shrine. She removed the gloves and placed them on her nightstand. From now-on, she will be keeping these weapons with her everywhere she goes.

Kaori was on the run from the Shrine Knights. She caught wind of a ritual involving her to take place. Something about her calling forth the 'Great Dragon' and reviving it back into the world. Clearing her throat, she hid in a dark alley away from the eyes of the Shrine Knights only for one of the Shrine Knights to shine a bright, divine light into the tunnel, revealing her location. A single Shrine Knight appeared with sword in-hand. "Madam, Kaori. You are to return with me to the Shrine. The ritual is at-hand and requires your presence."

"No! I won't go!" Kaori shouted out. The knight shrugged his shoulders, sheathed his sword and took out a shock-stick. "Then you leave me with no choice."

A disembodied voice from out of nowhere spoke to her. "Fight with your fists. Both of them." Kaori looked around before hearing the word "fight" once again. Standing up for herself, she raised both of her hands, the Gloves of Divine Dragon Flame equipped on her hands. She took a step in towards the man, her eyes shifting to the Ryuugan, and her hands started to be enveloped in heavenly blue fire. She ran up to the man and punched him in the gut with one hand. She seemed to favor just her left hand. As she punched, the man swung from his left, shocking her right side, causing her to fly back.

"Both hands~" the voice said before she gripped her right hand and started another forward assault at the man, this time throwing a few punches with her left, as predictably as she did earlier but responded with a single right cross to the man's throat, causing him to fall over, gasping for air. "Nice! Fighting with both hands IS more effective!" she said as she walked passed the knocked out Shrine Knight and began to run away.

Defensive Technique
As she exited the alley, she was encountered by yet another Shrine Knight. This man was holding a massive mace that he swung around pretty quickly. The disembodied voice said "Defend Yourself" causing Kaori to quickly take up a defensive position. The large mace was swung by the knight, colliding with her arms and flinging her back towards the end of the alley that she just walked out of. Kaori felt the sting from strike, causing a painful sensation to go all the way up her arms.

The man entered the alleyway swinging his mace, causing Kaori to be backed into a corner. "Watch his movements and dodge him. He swings in a predictable line. Watch the swing and dodge. You can do it, Kaori," said the disembodied voice once again. She didn't know where this voice was coming from, but it seemed oddly familiar. She nodded and took up a defensive posture as the man approached. He swung the mace in a predictable pattern as the disembodied voice said and Kaori ducked under the attack and moved her way behind the large Shrine Knight, dropped out of her defensive posture, jumped up and kicked the man in the back of the head. After dropping the large one, she ran out of the alleyway only to meet the final Shrine Knight.

As Kaori walked out of the alleyway, she found herself walking into a cave. She found a lot of questions with little to no answer. She saw a dead end of a cave as she left the alleyway. She turned around to try to see if there was more of the alleyway that she came from but only found a dead-end of a cave there too. She seemed to be in a dome-shaped cave. She looked around even more and shook her head. "None of this is real! None of this is real!" she said before performing a set of hand-seals for Cancel. In an instant, the cave vanished and she found herself back into the edge of the alleyway. "What the hell was that?" she asked as she continued to run away.

She encountered one of the Shrine Knights. With a single wave of the hand, it appeared to have thousands more of the same person surrounding her. This caused Kaori to place her hands upon her head and freak out. She felt cornered and didn't know what to do. Whether this was a genjutsu or not, she still used cancel; better safe than sorry. She didn't know if she was stuck, but gambling on the fact that it was might save her life. She flipped through a set of handseals and all of the clones vanished.

Kaori quickly ran up to the knight, punched him in the face with both of her hands and ran on.

Kaori continued to run away from the Paladins, dipping and dodging around corners as she ran through Konohagakure. She ran around a corner and pressed herself tightly to the wall, taking deep breaths to try to regain her stamina. She looked around the corner only to get clocked with a gloved hand straight into her face. One of the Paladins punched her to the ground and started to kick her repeatedly. "Not so tough now, you little brat! Punching people in the throats and breaking their windpipe!" the man said as he continued to wail on her until her body went limp. "Where's that iron will of yours, huh?" he asked as he grabbed her by the hair and picked her up off of the ground, causing an excessive amount of pain to flow through her, instantly bringing her back to consciousness. Kaori screamed in pain and flailed around. "I'm bringing you in, little girl," the man said before feeling a sharp pain between his legs.

Kaori gave a weak, yet effective kick to the man's groin, causing him to drop the girl. Normally, she'd have enough fighting spirit to go on and beat the man to a pulp,
however, after being on the run for so long, it had broken her spirit. She had nobody that could help her and that feeling, alone, was enough to sap her strength and will.
After the man crumbled to the ground from a groin kick, Kaori quickly limped away, finding sanctuary in an alleyway. She had to find somewhere to run and she had to find it quickly.

Kaori ran outside of the village and found herself at a small border town before finding a large building and passing out inside of the building. The sound of clanging metal could be heard, stirring her awake. Kaori woke up to see a group of boys around her age, poking her on the cheek. The boys ran away as soon as Kaori woke up with one of the boys shouting "She's up, pa!" Afterwards, a large and burly man approached Kaori wearing a thick rubber apron and holding a heavy hammer in his hands. "So, it seems you are awake now. Tell me, child, why are you running away?" the man asked as if he had a sixth sense about these kind of things. Kaori looked around and briefly explained to the man the situation without going into great detail.

"I see, so that's how it is, hm?" the man asked before reaching down to grab Kaori's hands. He looked over the gloves she wore and nodded his head. "Yes, good. Fine craftsmanship. Let me see those," he said before Kaori obliged and removed her gloves and gave them to the man. "Stay the night. We will feed you, let you bathe,
and let you sleep peacefully," he said giving relief to Kaori.

Throughout the night, Kaori was pampered and finally treated like the person that she wanted to be. The man from earlier had been gone all night. The sound of clanging could be heard the entire time. The very next morning, Kaori woke up in a bed to feel the weight of something upon her stomach. She opened her eyes to notice that there was a slight modification to the gloves. The gloves looked normal, however, there was a large metal ring around each glove which looked like weights. "Those are compartments. Treat those with care,[/color]" the blacksmith said.

The man demonstrated how to use the compartments, a place for traps that could be used to benefit Kaori and assist her. After the demonstration, Kaori jumped up and hugged the Blacksmith tightly. She gave her thanks and with a wave by a newly gloved hand, Kaori took off back towards the village. She now had power to defend herself.

Due to becoming a Tsukumogami, I would like to do a couple things:

1: Declare my weapon: Gloves of Divine Dragon Flame -- as my signature weapon.
2: Put the Free Flow augment I bought the other day onto it as the fourth Augment Slot (Well, excluding Ambi-dexterity's augment slot)
