Kubitsuki has spent a total of around Seven years so far in the Medical profession, and now that he is past the simple MiT stage, it was time for him to finally pick a profession. He had six options, three for the field, three for the hospital. He actually wanted to go out and do something, so the field seemed to be a natural call for him. He could pick only from two of the three, for he would already be part of the third. Otherwise, he could simply back out of a better specialization, but he cared not anymore for the simple main branch. He hungered for a challenge, something interesting, and the Harvesters interested him greatly. It was decided here, that Kubitsuki would try to become a member of the Harvesters...
"This suit, albeit old fashioned, is a excellent way to protect oneself from plague, plus all who see me know just who I am...'
Kubitsuki snapped his hand, a scalpel of pure chakra forming to aide him. The tool loomed over his patient, a clone of himself without his Rinnegan. On the table next to him, in a jar full of preserving fluid, were the fake eyes he created. The jar and the eyes itself were fortunately part of the clone jutsu, for he could not risk any material for his stupid mistakes. Kubitsuki poured healing ninjutsu around the left eye socket, dulling the pain to a tap during the transplant. The knife slowly inserted itself in the forced open eye, carefully phasing through the eye and reaching the optical nerve behind it. Completely engulfing the eye in a small field of chakra from the scalpel, he was ready to begin the true part of the operation. He cauterized the back of the nerve, burning the dull tips shut, while the rest of the eye was cut out of flesh softly. Slight wind ninjutsu tugged at the eye, helping Kubitsuki pull it out safely, and place it into another jar of preserving fluid. The amber eyed looked at him, floating without anything to hold it back in place.
Kubitsuki did the same with the second eye, placing it gently but in a rush in the other jar. He now had two sets of eyes in front of him, slightly disturbing but it would soon become second nature to stand in this situation. He healed the nerves while pulling the jar of the Rinnegans open, the nerves ready to be connected to something. Alright, he was doing everything properly so far, now it was time to insert the eyes. Using wind ninjutsu as a assistant to his cause, he plucked the left eye out of the Jar, and positioned it inside the socket. The nerve fibers slowly inserted itself into the original fiber line, slowly growing back together into one mass. The nerves were still destabilized, good, the pain won't be felt then. Kubitsuki pushed open the second eye socket, carefully placing the second Rinnegan in. The nervous tissue reforged itself together, binding themselves into one. The wind ninjutsu finished its application, instead being replaced by a hand of lightning. Focused to the finest point in the scalpel, Kubitsuki inserted a small shock of lightning in both nervous tissue of the eyes. They reconnected to the clone's brain, the eye lids slowly beginning to blink. The mucus membrane began to keep the eye ball hydrated, and then the second one kicked in as well. Good, he did it finally. He gave a breath of relief, before filling out a small amount of paper work.
Kubitsuki did each kinjutsu procedure for months, constantly practicing basic surgery and then the advanced surgery for the longest time. He went above and beyond the advanced requirements, studying and practicing at home and in the Aesculapium for a entire year. He walked into a room full of other medical shinobi, a grand display so that he could earn his license for kinjutsu surgery. From scratch, he had to produce the dreaded Earth Grudge Fear, and turn a broken woman into a healthy Revenant. Kubitsuki placed on his mask, filled with Potpourri for a healthy scent. This mask hid him away from the world, making it for him to simply be in a large field with his patient, all his fears melting away like evaporating water. The scalpel formed, coated in lightning, wind and flame. It was coated in teal flame, phasing through the woman's flesh, and chopped between her breasts. He looked inside to her broken ribs, seeing a bleeding heart. Injured, she has been damaged from a battle recently. He was in a emergency situation here, but he treated it as if he had as much time as he needed. He concentrated through his own kinjutsu, seeing where chakra flow marks were blocked or hazed. The teal flames burned the flesh shut at those tiny marks, before a cord of healing ninjutsu coated her heart.
Her forehead was slashed open, exposing her brain to the air. A crystal-hexagonal like barrier formed around her brain to preserve it from the elements while he looked inside. No injury, but some internal bleeding happened earlier coating the brain in a small layer of blood. His medical ninjutsu would simply heal it back, so he clamped her skull gently closed while his medical ninjutsu sowed her skin shut. He deformed the scalpel, checking the monitor to his left of what changes have happened. Still not concision, but her blood pressure is rising back to a healthier amount, and her heart is beating faster. Good, now that the emergency preservation surgery was complete, it was time for his pressure to be cleansed off. He started to mess with her forearm, turning the scalpel almost microscopic. His eyes evolved into the Rinne-Byakugan, magnified to a almost extreme level. He coated the small bundle of cells he was working on in chakra, easily able to see what he was looking for. He worked on the cells, forcing them to start to produce a chakra-like substance. The wire like substance was a cancer that started to convert other cells while it replicated itself violently. Success! Kubitsuki walked backwards, taking off the mask as he said aloud, "Operation, complete! I thank you all for your judgement today..." The woman's ripped open chest suddenly flooded itself with black fibers, that clamped itself shut like a living maw. Her broken bones slowly readjusted themselves, dissolving into the fiber.
She raised herself on the operating table, feeling her own body to make sure she was alright. She had stitches on her chest and forehead, but otherwise she was completely clean. It was slightly spooky when the uniquely birthed Earth Grudge Fear happened to clean itself of it's sowing marks, instead replacing it with a artificial flesh. She gave Kubitsuki a kind smile, thankful for her life, but knew that Kubitsuki requested not to speak to her. Kubitsuki plucked out of a jar to show how complete his procedure was, a heart. He handed it to her, to which her chest maw ripped open. Fibers softly and gently picked up the heart, attaching like nervous tissue to the heart. She consumed the heart, and in a voice fit for a 20 year old woman, said, "Thank you very much for saving me." Kubitsuki gave her a smile, before returning his plague mask on. He shut down his Byakugan, and wandered out of the room. He slowly awaited that night for his colleges to decide if he was allowed to be a kinjutsu specialist.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the next year he studied two more subjects, declining to be simply a novice in most of his specializations. He craved to be a specialist ninja, he wanted it not for the fame or the showing of his talents, but simply because he felt that he had to! He was part of the medical branch for 8 YEARS! How many specializations or extra licenses has he earned? One? He felt that he had to give back to his teachers, prove that he simply was a above average ninja. He laid books out all over the table in front of him, deciding on re-reading the basics of surgery. He spent a few weeks simply reading all the books between his missions and operations, learning how to further advance his skills...
He placed on his Plague Gear, wearing the armor of the infamous Plague Doctor. The thick plastic gloves fit perfectly to his flesh, for if they were any looser he might have a slip up. He adjusted his googles in-build crystallization matrix, allowing him to view smaller objects with greater ease. After getting his gear set up for the surgery, he formed a clone to sit on the operating table. Kubitsuki placed a arm onto the clone's throat with almost no force, pushing the clone softly to the table. He snapped with electric ninjutsu, shutting off non-vital systems of the clone. He knew how to shut himself off, its easy to know when you experiment on your clones daily to make sure you have everything settled. He was dealing with surgically removing a damaged heart with a new one grown from medical ninjutsu. Well, this was going to be an experience! He formed a chakra receiver, that transformed into his fake heart in a jar. Kubitsuki began to operate, his scalpel burning softly with chakra.
Every blood vessel that linked to the heart were vital, he quickly thought of a way to replace the heart while he was actually replacing the heart... and got an idea. He set up his chakra to pulse every 3/4ths of a second to the heart beat of the clone, forming the wind in the heart to give more oxygen. He with expertise from his past experiences chopped the heart off in a minute, and plucked the damage organ out of the body. The blood vessels were burned to stop the bleeding, but fortunately his medical ninjutsu could easily fix the damage done. The wind ninjutsu had the ideal position of a heart in mind, and helped him set up the replacement heart correctly. The vessels matched up, so he used his medical ninjutsu to grow the vessels together. The delicate surgery was complete in a simple matter of minutes, but he did it sloppily. He could have easily avoided some of the damage to the Aorta, plus the Pulmonary artery. He snarled in outrage, but he accepted that he had to get better. It took him over a hundred tries to even decently learn kinjutsus, and a thousand more to master it. He had to do this too, and he did.
Months would pass and hundreds more trail runs on his clones would pass until he finally thought he mastered the art of surgery, and went in front of his colleges again. He was doing a mysterious emergency situation to prove his mastery of the craft, and he was going to try and save a patient. He was going to have to commit a very quick yet vary dangerous task, destroy a tumor within a patients brain. He walked into the main presentation hall, all sorts of other med-nin watching him closely. This time he had to focus heavily on the machinery, making sure he could find the tumor perfectly here. Otherwise, the man could die in a brutal way. He prepared another stasis bubble of healing ninjutsu, and in his other hand formed a scalpel. Bottom left hemisphere of the brain, near the conflux between the hemispheres. He inserted the scalpel, and with extreme caution coated the inside of the tumor completely. He watched the chakra sensing TV next to the physical TV, making sure they lined up. He turned the scalpel into a tool of destruction, cutting and disintegration the tumor out of contact with the rest of the brain, and then destroying the rest of the tumor. He applied the medical ninjutsu to repair the wound, the rest of the brain moving back to it's normal position. Kubitsuki walked away, as The man said, "...Fuck it hurts!" before getting up! Almost immediately Kubitsuki handed the man a pill to consume, and a few minutes passed before he said, "Thanks doctor, I feel better. Dear Raiden, my arms are not spazing out anymore!" Kubitsuki sat outside, waiting for the response of the medical ninja council for his license...
