Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[col3]|Dragon Gate Pass; that was their destination, at least it was when they realized they were in the Lightning Country. It was by chance that they had spotted a sign that said as such and it was with luck that sister managed to understand the common writing, even as the words tried to slip through her brain like water through fingers. However long they had been trapped under the ice, whatever had happened to them even before that, it had affected them greatly in more ways than just the physically obvious.|[/col3]

[col]Sister had been confused too, considering that the last place she remembers being at was their own homeland. But, as they had been in Cloud before with their brother and the Isaki, seeking help there might not be too farfetched. It was sharp relief that they were not in the Land of Wind or Fire instead.|[/col]

[col3]|They had walked for hours, weak and hungry and confused, through the winter wonderland that was Monumentum Deo until they reached something that had some semblance of civilization. It had taken them hours, not only because of the snow hindering their movement and the distance, but also because it took a long while before they even managed to stand up let alone walk. A leg each was what was left, while the other limb had apparently been amputated.

What was supposed to be such a simple task that even an old enough infant could do it provided a great challenge to them. Even when they managed a few steps, they had to seek purchase from their surroundings, grasping on rocks and trees to gain any semblance of balance. But they endured, knowing they would need shelter, aid... food; just the last alone would be a god send to them.|[/col3]

[col]|Left, right, left.[/col]

[col3]|They had forgotten their goal though, halfway through the trip, growing delirious from the sickness the cold and hunger was putting them through. Their movement, halfway through, had been automatic.|[/col3]

[col]|Left, right, left.[/col]

[col3]|So could they be blamed if they looked up in confusion and irritation at the cliff face that stood in their path?

It certainly must have been an odd sight for anyone nearby, to see such a... thing trudging towards the Cloud’s borders, clothed only in the barest slips of white clothe to cover their modesty, wet and shivering with the thing’s left hand covered in blood.|[/col3]

  • OutOfCharacter | Not really asking for entry or anything just yet, merely up for an RP before I head to Mist and doing some plot business there. I'll be back here in Cloud once I finish plots there though.

Nari walks up to the gates, her older brother had forced her to take his duties today while he was going out on a date, what a bastard, forcing a poor student to be at the gates, dangerous people come to them, its no place for a child. She noticed someone approaching and took out the small piece of paper her brother had left her and began to read from it. "He..hello. Who are you? What business do you have in Kumogakure? And do you have a passport?" She asked before actually looking at the person before her and screaming horrified as she saw someone with two head standing not far from her, petrified with fear from thing in front of her.

[col3]|A voice so small, young and unsure reached their ears making two heads turn in the poor child's direction. The child was small, so puny; surely, she had no business to be in a place like this. Did they really start out so young? Oh, theybrother and sister – had along with many others, all of them child soldiers... but, still. Was this one a child soldier too? The chances were most likely, considering the type of world they lived in.

Dangerous.|[/col3]

[col]Not yet.|[/col]

[col]|Brother growled, baring his teeth in a menacing manner, at the thought that this puny child could harm them, might harm them. Right arm poised in a manner, ready to rend flesh, strangle the enemy. But there was a whine of "Aka... ", only after a short moment before brother shut his mouth. The child wasn't a danger, not yet, but he would be watchful.[/col]

[col]Sister, with glazed eyes, threw the other head a worried look and put her left hand on their stomach. Her face scrunched up in pain, almost pleading. "Hung... gry..." this one speaks, voice much softer than her male counterpart, in a less intimidating manner and with much more... coherency.|[/col]

[col3]|Funnily enough, that answered the child’s first two questions. But, before they could even try to understand the last, the young girl had started screaming. And it had set them off, each for a reason of their own. Frightening as it was, the thing made to scramble toward the red haired child, each side with their own intent. It was odd movement, with how mismatched its body’s proportion was but with the speed and agility they managed to cover the distance between themselves and the Kumo native, it looked as if they were hell hounds sprinting after their prey.|[/col3]

[col]"Qui- Qu- ssshhhuhhhh," one head hissed, as she tried to place her bloodied and bruised hand on Nari's mouth.|[/col]

[col]|But the other hand grabbed the girl by the shoulder and tried to shove and pin her to the cliff face.[/col]

Akkuma sat upright a scream that shattered the calm of the day brought his heart to a rapid beat, it'd come from the Gates of Kumo. Those blood red orbs looked in the direction of the gates before he uttered a quick "Damn it!?" and with those words he vanished into one of his voice re-appearing mere feet from some hideous creature and what appeared to be a student.

They're was rage in his eyes as his muscles tensed "Let her g..." his words died in his throat when he realised what the thing was before him. The half-demons legs wavered as he fell to his knees staring at this monstrosity before...this monstrosity that had once been two comrades if his. Akkuma could never forget those faces they had been everywhere those two elusive twins, now they would be together forever. Hands shaking his hands clenched into fists as he looked at them once more a mixture of rage, sadness and pity in his eyes. "....H..How?.....Why?" he asked the twins clearly trying to work out what had happened to them and who had created this shinobi horror show that was before him.

Black dark chakra began to slowly exude itself from the demon as knelt there, his thoughts taking him to a dark place within his own mind. 'My comrades...' he couldn't even complete the thought so much anger and hate came flooding to the surface of the half-demons mind. Hit buy another wave of guilt and pity as those now cursed twins came back into view as his gaze lifted from the ground once more. When he noticed the hand upon the little student her scared form held their by the twins. With that the black chakra swept across the ground like snaking tendrils as the demon sunk further into the doubt of his mind stuck in a situation where he didn't know how to react.

On one side he had two old comrades...twisted through some dark means, tormented souls in the demons opinion. Then on the other hand he had this little student to worry about, he could never face Shin if he allowed something to happen to her.

The thing stood there a couple of feet away from her, it just didn't feel good looking at it, it wasn't natural, so much evil coming from it. It growled at her before snarling what seemed to be its name Aka. Why was this happening to her, why then, why when she was there. She was feeling fear for her life, she had felt fear before, but not like this before, was fear was much more powerful than anything she had felt before, it was freezing her, gaining control over her, her body didn't even shook, it just stood there as the creature spook again from the other head, it sounded like it was begging and weak, which made it look even worst for Nari, one head seemed like it was ready to kill and the other said it was hungry. Nari just couldn't do anything, even worst when the creature darted at her after she screamed.
The way it moved, there was no human that could move like that, it was abnormal unnatural, it was hellish to see that thing run toward her, she tried to turn away and run away, but her body was frozen in fear, it just wouldn't move. "Hel!!" She tried to scream as the creature overpowered her and pushed her against the cliff, looking the thing in eyes, all four of them, even more she could taste the foul blood on the hand that covered her mouth, their rotten breaths against her face, they were so close and the head that was before pleading was not telling her to shut up, many scenarios ran through her head, being eating alive, killed and cooked and so many more, the poor girl just couldn't hold it anymore and her body and mind eventually gave in and fell under the stress, her body going numb as she fainted.

[MFT]

[col3]|The child stank of fear , consumed by it, and both heads couldn’t help but grin maniacally at the thought for some reason. They could feel it rolling off of her in waves and it was delicious. Simple things such as the widening of her eyes, glued on them and the quick rhythm of her breathing and of her heart was drawing them in.

It would be so easy, such a simple thing, to snap her tiny neck right here and right now. Then, she wouldn’t be a danger anymore and something about the idea of death called to them. Yet, the idea of killing a child repulsed them as well.

It was a strange contradiction.

They weren’t allowed to muse on it any further as the girl’s screams had summoned others.

And the one that had arrived seemed familiar.|[/col3]

[col]|"Aka?"[/col]

[col3]|Dropping the unconscious girl and letting her fall against the rock face, they turned in the direction of the newcomer. Confusion was written on both their faces, their heads tilted in one direction in a manner that anyone who had known them would have seen before. The man was familiar but not overtly so, his presence reminding them of water and the dark. It was both welcoming and... maddening, to brother, especially, who was longer awake under the murky ice. Their feet spread apart, body arched forward, arms out with fingers spread apart like claws ready to attack like some feral beast yet hesitant to do so. Because this one was familiar yet they could feel that he was more of a threat than the red haired child.

What really raised their hackles though were the tendrils of dark energy twisting and lashing about. Although, they themselves were arguably beings of dark energy, that didn’t mean they would welcome another’s so easily. Even if the man was kneeling, a sign of submission, there was still danger.

They took careful steps towards Akkuma although their approach faltered with how strong they felt his demonic aura. It was... it was...|[/col3]

[col3]|"Do you know what this is?" that little girl had giggled, her golden and curled locks bouncing as she giggled and waved a vial of black liquid around. "This, this is dead youkai’s blood, fresh as can be! Just not any youkai too but a pureblood one, not a filthy halfbreed! And I harvested it all just for the two of you; be honoured! What it’ll do is make all the pain go away, you see, and you two will enjoy play time a lot more with it! All you have to do is drink up! Aren’t I nice?"|

[col]"No. No. Don't." She shook her head, trying to dislodge the image from her head. Who was...|[/col]

Akkuma knelt there as the twins approached the Kumogakure nin unaware of his presence, though he couldn't help the despair h felt when they did not recognise him. Had he changed so much that even this twisted aberration of his past feared him. Sighing he looked into both sets of eyes before saying "It's....Akkuma...Miroku Akkuma..."the words were barely uttered as he reached out to the two
, his blood red eyes focusing on the two. Somehow he would bring them peace he was yet to gigue out how, but he would.

Sighing he stood and against any strike made against him he would embrace the twins, even if they tore his flesh. The half-demon would hold them close as he whispered "I'm sorry for what happened...let me help you." the words would be whispered as he held the twins close. "We should leave before the guards are angered..." not that he hadn't given them more then enough reasons to be angry by himself.

No matter the wounds he would suffer he would hold them, still trying to come to terms with what his eyes saw. At least if he could distract them from the student when a shark-like grin spread across his face. He wondered if the student who had greeted the twins was in search of power. He would drop a note next to her with his name and place of contact another void opened up in the air before them, he would gesture for the twins to enter the void. Too much danger awaited them here and he would feel to guilty should they be harmed under his watch.

"Oh, don’t give me those looks... you don’t exactly have any say in the matter. You’re both a little bit too tied up to argue, aren’t you? How are those jackets, by the way, comfy? I’m sorry if they’re a little tight but that’s what happens when you try to escape!"|[/col3]

[col]Sister whined, clutching her head which was bowed in pain.|[/col]

[col]|Brother looked at sister, teeth grit in half a snarl and half a sneer. He looked back and forth between her and the man that reeked of demon, only to double take when the latter was far too close for comfort. His presence alone disgusted him and this near, he had no hesitation and every intention of making sure he would not be a danger to them.[/col]

[col3]|"Teehee, let me help you!"|[/col3]

[col]The familiar stranger was far too close, far too much, and she felt caged in.|[/col]

[col]|He struck his arm out, grabbing him by the neck, seeing as he would not move from their position. Opening his mouth wide, poison started to build up, deadly enough to put a Komodo Dragon to shame. Regurgitating the vile and disgusting substance at point blank, Akkuma would have to move quick unless he wanted to be on the receiving end of what was, to put it bluntly, acid spit.[/col]

[col]All the while, Black Mist started to emanate from sister, exhaling what would be assumed at its most innocent as smoke from an unseen source. It was not as innocent as that though, for little in this world was, as it smelt of disease and the merest touch could burn.

"Stay. A. Way. "|[/col]

  • OutOfCharacter | If you haven't figured it out, that's Fang of the Komodo and Black Mist.

Nari said to post
Akkuma body switched from the grasp of the twins the kawarmi log left in his place would be in their hand. Grabbing the student he placed her over his shoulder and stared at the twins before him. He shook his head in disbelief what monster could have done that to them. "It's Miroku Akkuma...stay safe but you must leave this place. Kumogakure is not safe for you!" he cried out fearing for their lives but he knew his pact with Shin meant his priority relied with keeping the young student alive. A void of darkness opened up behind the demon revealing Enma's plane, the dimension where demons and all things nightmarish are first birthed. Stepping back into the realm he looked at the twins once more before saying "If you ever need help seek me out...Mist is in ruins..." he would say before the void closed around him and the student. Unsure if they knew the horrible truth...if they could even truly comprehend what he said.

The void would re-open at his campsite and the half-demon placed the student down before building up a large amount of Senjutsu chakra. Tainting it with his demonic essence the demon conjured flaming black kanji upon his arm that wreathed all the way down to his palm. Placing his palm upon her forehead he would spread the chakra out into her system. The kanji covering her body as it altered her chakra system and body adapting to her genetics. The fact that she was unconscious would help but the pain could be that excruciating that she could wake up. He hoped that she would not suffer through that pain though, once the scribing process had been completed he would stand once more grabbing the student. It would be time to take her back to the shadows of the Gates.

Another void would open up as Akkuma stepped through it with his small gift to the gates shadows, he had reappeared atop of the pass. A stunned shadow approached him and he held the girl out. "She's fine but she will need rest..." he said before jumping down to land before the twins dashing forward he would hug them. "Run comrades...run now..." were the words he would utter how would the twins react to his sudden disappearance and return. Most of all would they see through their madness and remember their former comrade or would they lash out once more at the demon that sought to save his comrades. He prayed to the Old Ones that it would not be the later he knew that even in this state that the two would be dangerous. They were capable shinobi, he worried about the battle prowess they would still possess.

Aka Twins Hugged....
Challenge Accepted! <3 feel the loves!

[col3]|It seemed that the man had enough intellect to know that a face full of acid was not a good thing. Which, really, would make one question why he didn’t have enough to figure out that hugging this... thing was not a good idea.

They threw away the kawarimi log which was half consumed already, in a fit, thoroughly incensed at the demon who dared try to contain them. Those simple moves, few as they were, took their toll on them and yet that did not register in the face of what they saw as a great enemy. Brother, in particular, let out an inhuman scream of frustration as Akkuma stepped into a void.

The distance between them and the demonic presence caused some of their aggression to alleviate, if only a little. Now, if only the shinobi had thought of staying away and for good, perhaps everything would turn out better. But, apparently, he did not think of that and again did the very thing which aggravated them in the first place.

They stilled in his arms, breath speeding up and muscles tensing. Had they been more coherent, more in their right mind, they would have expressed their disdain about his lack of respect for personal space however hypocritical that made them. Words failed though those who had once been great diplomats and children of silver tongue, so they expressed their feelings in the way they could.

Great power surged out of them, filled with emotions although lacking in its usual wide spectrum and complexity. Because, what they were feeling at the moment wasn’t complicated at all, a simple thought behind it:|[/col3]

[col3]Maim.||[/col3]

[col3]|Kill.|[/col3]

[col3]||Hate.[/col3]

[col3]|The feeling that overflowed their very being in this moment erupted out, hoping to tear apart its target, to consume and to burn and to drown.

In a flash, reminiscent of the shinobi that they once were, they disappeared from the demon’s hold, reappearing a ways away. Their stance was weaker now, although they still looked ready to murder Akkuma if he dared get any closer. A niggling voice in the back of their heads warned them of something though and they made to turn tail and leave.|[/col3]

  • OutOfCharacter | Marked for Training at 364 words. That's... Empathetic's Spiritual Anguish. Topic Left Unless Stopped. Please don't stop me. o_o I'm not kidding. If I don't evacuate the twins now, it will get ugly. I'm serious. Getting in their way in-character will be counted as stopping them. Trying to hug them again is included.

Akkuma vanished leaving in his place a clone that was quickly destroyed by an intense burst of dark will. He could sense the intent behind the attack and was off put. He would stay near the student as the twins reappeared away from the scene it seemed they intended on departing. For a moment there when they had stilled in his grip he had thought that they had at least recognized him, but it had been apparent it was for naught at the attack that followed. He would make no move to pursue the twins sighing in defeat as he knelt beside the youth and began to use mystical hand to help restore her to consciousness. Once she had been returned to consciousness and the twins were gone he would speak. "I have given you a gift...use it wisely seek me out when you understand the truth of the shinobi way. Miroku Akkuma." with those words he would leap from the pass walls vanishing into a void into the demonic realm returning to his camp. Mind racing he couldn't sleep properly, waking frequently in sweats nightmares of all of his comrades becoming twisted aberrations. 'I still need more power...so I can protect them all...even if I lose my soul.' he would think, the thought entering his mind as he woke yet again. It was going to be yet another long night, Akkuma hoped this wasn't going to become a regular occurrence. For already he'd not once gotten a single night of decant sleep in his entire time of being in Lightning Country. 'I need to make a sleep jutsu..' he thought tiredly to himself with a small smile as he laid there once more.

Topic Left once Nari is conscious
Letting the twins go...ain't gonna go down that path. ^-<

Emptiness that was where she was, nothing around her besides herself. She could hear voices, the voices of the ones outside, but she wasn't there, she was lost in the deep ocean of emptiness. She wasn't awake but she could feel everything around her, the dark energies around her, the killing intents, the shadows creeping in.
Nari stayed there, her body numb as the creature dropped her on the ground to turn its attention to the man that had showed up. The man and the creature were having some kind of confrontation between themselves, the man seemed to know it, Aka, as it called itself.
Nari was taken by the man after the creature tried to attack it. The darkness was powerful inside of him, and it was slowly wrapping her own space, her ocean in it, the man couldn't have not meant to do harm but his energy didn't seem to do as he wanted.
She was picked up by the man and she was eventually wrapped in darkness, her ocean of emptiness was now filled with darkness, pitch black darkness, in that space Nari couldn't see an inch in front of her own nose.
The man, Akkuma, as he had said, picked her up and opened a passage to another plane and as the plane opened Nari could feel the crippling darkness coming towards her, it was like it knew she was vulnerable and the man recklessly took her inside, to the plane of darkness and demons, Emna's plane.

The deep darkness, the black ocean, the dark sky, the black sand, the black sea, there was a world inside of Nari and it was being taken by the darkness. Nari felt weak and helpless, there was no one there to help her, she was used to the emptiness as emptiness could be filled with false light, but darkness, darkness was heavy and dreadful, it didn't let her leave that black world.

Nari cowered inside of that dark world, she didn't want to be there but she was also too afraid to try and leave, not that she could leave. She thought that she was alone there, but that was not true, something else had joined her in that world and it wasn't from within her, it was an outsider something that was born in Emna's plane. It gave out its presence by letting out a crackling mad laughter, it seemed happy, it was happy and it was there, looking for the owner of this vessel, it could feel and smell the pain and suffering the owner had felt before, every feeling Nari had ever felt, it could feel them too and it fed on it.

The world went silent for a moment as the laughter finished but it wasn't silent for long, heavy steps echoed through the dark world, chains and what sounded like metal clanking against itself, similar to that of an armor followed the steps along with a deep and heavy breathing and it was closing in to the poor child, each step becoming louder, following by the clanking of armor and the dragging of chains. Nari cowered, leaning against rocks at the black beach. The steps were slow, calm and they finally stopped as the large and tall figure loomed over the small child, it was clad in armor, wings black and torn and so large it would put any bird to shame. It looked down at Nari, its eyes peering at her behind its horned helmet. "You..You are the owner of this body...So weak and fragile." It said with heavy breathing under its helmet. "Do you seek power child? Do you want to destroy the ones that hurt you, the ones that makes you feel pain?" The demon asked but no matter how much he waited no answer came, only silence. The demon knelled in front of Nari to be able to meet her eye to eye. "Answer me child, do wish for power, do you wish to destroy those you hate?" A question to which Nari stayed silent but slowly raised her head at it, but her eyes went wide open as it saw the demon causing her to be filled with fear again. The demon shook its head and took its hands to its helmet and slide it of its head, revealing a human head underneath it, covered in dark red long hair which fell over its face. "I will ask one more time, child, do you want power?" It looked human, it had a calm and peaceful face, it almost looked perfect, more like an angel than a demon.

Nari's lip slowly moved and opened. "I..I want to be strong...but..but...not..not like this....its too dark...too scary." She said as she began to tear up. She did wanted to become stronger, but she knew there was a difference between power and strength, she knew that wishing for power would always corrupt people.

The demon looks upon her. "So you refuse my gentle offer. Then I shall take what I want. You shall become my vessel to enter your world whether you want it or not" Nari tried to move away but the rock behind behind her limited her movement making it impossible for her to run away. He reached over to her with his metal clawed hand and touched her hair, grabbing a lock of her lock red hair and taking it to his face and took a long sniff to it. "I will be good to be able to feel that world again." He took its hand to Nari's cheek and gently caressed it with his cold hand. "And you will help me do it." He smiled as he raised his other hand and shaped it like a spear and lunged it at the girl's chest, but it was stopped inches from her heart.

He was struggling to push it forward. "What the hell!" He growled as he looked at it, his wrist had been bound by chains which radiated a strange light from them, it seemed to shake the darkness away from it, even if the chains themselves weren't made out of light. The demon took his attention from Nari and tries to release itself from chain but the more he struggled the more the chains tighten around his wrist and more chains followed those, embracing his wings, hands, arms, legs and torso. The demon kept struggling and growling, Nari looked at him and watched him, she began to raise from the ground and stood up, amazed by what was happening. Why was the demon bound, where did the chains came from, it wasn't hers, she didn't had that power.

But as she watched the demon fight against the chains, something happened, the same chains binding the demon darted at her, they were fast and sharp, they pierced Nari's chest, arms and legs which caused her to scream in pain. It was unbearable, the pain was so much for the girl and it wasn't just from the wounds the chains made, which began to heal around the chains, they were digging deep into her, reaching to her insides, they were merging with her, connecting with her flesh and bones, they were becoming a part of them, just like she was becoming a part of them, they were becoming her power.

The distance between the two bodies began to decrease as the chains dragged them together. The demon kept fighting against the chains but it was to no use, just like it was done to Nari, the chains began to merge with its own body, their energy was becoming the same energy. Soon after they were both facing face to face. the demon growled at her and she just looked at him. The demon's eyes were forced open as Nari was pulled into his arms as then his arms were wrapped around the child, his mouth bound by chains as the rest of its body and Nari was bound to him, laying in his cold embrace.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nari struggled in the floor of the man's camp, she screamed and cried at the pain of the man injecting his chakra into her forehead, it was burning her, it was hurting her, even after the man stopped she kept struggling and screaming and eventually it stopped after the man picked her up and carried her back to the through Emna's plane back to the gate and he placed her down as the other creature run away from the location. The man began to apply some healing jutsu to her, healing her and easing her pain, she eventually came back to her senses, but they were dull and numb, he spoke to her, but she couldn't get most of the worlds he had said Gift, Understand, Shinobi Way, Miroku Akkuma. She looked at him before falling back asleep and the shinobi which she was handed to carried her away, most likely to the hospital.
