Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mokuba stood in the Hokages office. "You're joking... You're not joking... Please be joking." The Hokage sat back in his chair. "I thought you would love this opportunity, you have been pushing for higher ranking missions for awhile now." Mokuba rubbed the back of his neck as he looked over the mission dossier. "I mean yes sir its an honor to be given this task but... I don't know about Yasu." The Hokage folded his hands in his lap. "With Yasu we have a unique opportunity to gain an emendate advantage. I also understand it will be hard on the boy, but this is a great chance for him to grow." Mokuba bowed, "I will inform them and we will set off tomorrow morning." Mokuba exited the Hokages office, he stood just outside the door. He took a deep breath, then proceeded home.

Mokuba swung by the Library in an attempt to catch Yasu. Yasu himself had not been home in 4 days, to busy with his research. He walked into the building and immediately caught the eye of the librarian. "Mokuba dear you look tired." She said with a bright smile on her face. She set a pile of books down, "If you are looking for Yasu he left almost an hour ago." Mokuba smiled back and bowed "Thank you." He walked back out and looked up at the sky, it was almost sunset and the sky had just begun to turn colors. So you actually are coming home tonight. Mokuba put his hands in his pockets and strolled back home. How do I tell you...

Mokuba walked into his home, Yasu was walking out of the kitchen with a glass of water in his hand. "Oh... hey." Yasu took a drink "You all good? You look tired." Mokuba smirked "You are one to talk. How long have you been up?" Yasu shrugged "Honestly I have no idea, tonight I will be passed out for sure." "Well that's good because tomorrow we leave, we have a mission." Yasu took another drink. "Im going to have to pass. I am busy with my own stuff right now." Mokuba almost taken back by Yasus response spoke up "What do you mean to busy? Yasu we have a mission, a mission the Hokage himself is giving to you personally." Yasu scratched his head. "Why the hell would he want me?" "Its an escort mission. A father and son, you will make sure nothing happens to the boy." Yasu put the glass to his lips for the final time. Mokuba waited for him to finish his drink before mentioning the worst part. "Its... Its in the Village Hidden in the Bamboo..."

Yasus eyes shot open as the glass slipped form his hands. The room was silent as it fell shattering on the ground. Yasu looked at Mokuba with eyes full of terror. "...No." Mokuba attempted to walk forward "Yasu you cant just-" Yasu cutting him off "NO! What the hell is wrong with you!? Why would you accept this mission!? Im not going! That's that!" Mokuba trying to get a word in, "Yasu their is a family that needs our help. You have knowledge of the land that can only come from living there! I know it will be hard but we need to protect those who cant protect themselves!" Yasu pushed past Mokuba and began to walk up the stairs to his room. "That is not my problem! I have my own shit to deal with right now! Maybe I will catch the next one." Mokuba grabbed Yasus arm. "If that boys family dies too then will it be your problem?" Yasu stopped "I know you don't want to go back there, believe me I thought long and hard about accepting this mission. Yaus what you are doing is not healthy, going back might give you the closure you need. Spending all your time tiring to bring your brother back is no way to spend your life. Youre family died so that you could live." Yasu ripped his hand away and slowly turned. He stood face to face with Mokuba, breathing heavy trying to hide how angry he really was. "Their is a line...And you are dangerously clos-"

The door opened and Sora and Sachiko stood in the doorway with an armful of groceries. "Oh good you two are back, we have a mission." Mokuba turned back to Yasu, "and we leave first thing in the morning." Yasu turned and walked upstairs."Fine. For the boy. Not for you."

"Ok, so we got the leeks, the fish, the lemongrass.." Sora read over the list in his mind of the groceries that he and Sachiko were bringing home for dinner that night, trying to make sure they hadn't forgotten anything. "I swear, we forgot something..." He shifted the pile of vegetables in his arms as the two siblings made their way up the road. "Well, you'll probably remember it when we get home, so don't sweat it now." Sachi replied, swinging a bag of fish in one hand, and the milk in the other. "I'm excited to see what Mokuba Senpai makes with this." She blushed a little at the though. Sora sighed with heavy exasperation. "Sachi, I get that you're older and all, but it's still weird to have a crush on your Sensei." Sachi's heart rate accelerated violently as she blushed, and then colder remarked, "Mikasa Sensei.", to which Sora blushed in return, and became silent.

The walked in silence for a while, and as they approached the house, Sachiko was about to shout out with excitement, but Sora stopped her. Something's wrong... He could hear the hearbeats of Mokuba and Yasu, and knew that one of them was extremely angry. It wasn't hard to figure out who, and as the got closer, Sora nudged his sister, and they held back and listened.

"That is not my problem! I have my own shit to deal with right now! Maybe I will catch the next one."
"I know you don't want to go back there, believe me I thought long and hard about accepting this mission. Yaus what you are doing is not healthy, going back might give you the closure you need. Spending all your time tiring to bring your brother back is no way to spend your life. Youre family died so that you could live."

ok, maybe we should interrupt now! Walking forward, quickly, Sora practically pushed Sachi through the front door. "Hey!" She shout whispered at him, but he continued, swinging the door open quickly. As they quickly stammered inside, Sora shouted "We're home!" To make sure that the two quit, and Yasu didn't have an opening to keep building his anger.

"Oh good you two are back, we have a mission, and we leave first thing in the morning."
"Fine. For the boy. Not for you."

Sora sighed as he watched Yasu disappear into the room they shared in a silent, fuming rage, Mokuba rubbing his eyes in frustration. "Probably could've delivered that a little more gently." He said to Mokuba. "You heard that, huh?" Sora pointed vaguely to the side of his head as he walked into the living room and sat on the nearest couch, "Super hearing still there, so yea." This time it was Mokuba's turn to sigh deeply. "I feel bad, but I don't know what he expect of me. We were assigned the mission; I didn't pick it!" "Who are you trying to convince, here? us, or yourself?" "Hey, don't you two go ganging up on me, too. Now get to bed, we'vea long day tomorrow, and I want to start as early as possible." Sora stood up. "Sure thing. I'm beat any-... Beets! Dammit, we forgot to get beets!" Sora shouted. Mokuba chuckled as Sachiko shook her head. "We'll deal with it later. Go get some rest. We leave before first light."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

The pale moonlit road out of the village was eerie to say the least. It wasn't that it wasn't kept up well, just that the trees and the light breeze were enough to make Sachiko anxious, and her anxiety translated into an irregular and loud, pounding heartbeat, which was freaking Sora out. "Would you calm the hell down, The sun's gonna be up soon, so chill!" Sachiko simply pouted and pushed foward, ignoring Sora completely. Falling back, Sora walked alongside Yasu, who was being quiet. "Hey, I'm here for you, ok? I know this is gonna be hard for you to do, but lets try to make it work. It's a simple escort mission; what could possibly go wrong?"

Is was a cool crisp morning in the Hidden Leaf as the group head out for their mission. Sachiko walked slightly ahead of the group after Sora addressed her. Yasu for the most part was in his own head at this point but picked up on the situation. "Sachiko I wouldn't walk to far ahead. Wouldn't want the monster to get you." Sachiko looked back with an irritated look on her face. "Okay fine don't listen to me, but Im telling you I have seen it. Its a large beast the crawls out of wherever it lives in the morning looking for foooood." Sachiko turned around completely and stopped. "You're not funny Yasu!" She turned back around only to find a large creature standing in front of her. Sachiko let out a scream as Mokuba smacked Yasu on the back of the head. "Do you think youre funny?" Yasu smiled as he released his Secretly casted Rock Golem Jutsu. "Yes, very much so." The three walked past Sachiko who was still trying to catch her breath. "If Im being forced to come on this mission I guess I will have to make the most of it." Yasu used the situation not only for some comic relief but to avoid Soras concern. Just got to get though the next couple days... that's it.

The four walked down the road enjoying the scenery. Conversations began, they grew and fell. More topics sprouted from dying subjects and the group for the first time in a long time seemed like a team again, like a family. The team walked all day. "Alright lets set up camp here tonight guys." Yasu collapsed on the ground. "No... More… Walking..." Mokuba smiled at Yasu "Well we cant rest yet. We have to set up a little." Yasu shot up with new found energy. "Set up you say? Well Stand back, I have been working on a little something something." Yasu took a moment and focused. "Alright! Metal Style: Iron Fortress Jutsu!" Yasu slammed both hands on the ground as a metal cube rose. The four stopped and stared. "...Yasu." Yasu stood before his creation, a metal box about 2 feet high. "I mean...Its supposed to be bigger...but I mean... It could work right?" Mokuba put his hand on Yasus shoulder. "Its was a nice thought, maybe you will have it down next time." He turned and addressed the rest of the group. "Actually before that how about some grub? Mokuba pulled out of his pack 4 small meals. "Before we left I whipped up some food with the groceries Sora and Sachiko picked up. The four sat and ate their meal. "We are making good time, by this time tomorrow we should be arriving at the village. So this is a great opportunity to get a game plan in. We are here to escort Kenshin and his son Gorou back to the hidden leaf. Their shouldn't be any trouble but with the Bandits on the rise in the area its our job to provide a little extra muscle. Yasu do you have any insight or ideas?" Yasu was already half done with his meal and spoke with his mouth full of food. "Well I was thinking that we take a different path back. Its a little longer but you wont find it on any maps. My...My brother and I made it as our secret path to the village. Well he made it and I'm pretty sure all I did was get in the way." Yasu finished his meal and looked at Mokuba. "Thank you Sensei for the food, but it tastes different. Like somethings missing." Mokuba smiled and shot Sora a look "I don't know, beats me."

As the group called it a night and fell asleep Yasu stayed up. Not able to sleep the boy say on his box and looked up at the sky. Im going home? I must be an absolute idiot.

Yasu seemed to ignore Sora's comments of concern, and so they pushed on. As the chill of night was slowly replaced by a faint warmth upon his cheeks, Sora knew the sun had finally crested the treeline and was spilling light over the forest, casting long pale shadows upon the ground, and possibly blinding Mokuba and the others. Yasu then started making comments about some forest monster, all the while his chakra flaring slightly. What are you playing at, Yasu? Sore thought, smirking lightly.

"Okay fine don't listen to me, but I'm telling you I have seen it. Its a large beast the crawls out of wherever it lives in the morning looking for foooood."

Just then, Yasu's mud golem stumbled before Sachiko and caused her to scream in terror, causing a few birds in the distance to panic and fly off. Before Yasu could properly enjoy in little antic, Mokuba smacked him on the back of the head, causing Sora to snort, in an attempt to suppress his laughter. After sensei's and Yasu's back and forth, Sora fell back with with Mokuba, smirking lightly. "To be fair, it was pretty funny."

"You're not helping." Mokuba said, hiding a smile, "He's just trying to deal with his pain by ignoring it. It's not healthy, but I understand at least." The next few seconds were in silence before Sora chimed back in. "I won't let him. Even if I have to force him to be himself and acknowledge his pains." Mokuba sighed, and mumbled quietly. "Not sure if that's the best decision or not, really.." It was quite the trek. Sora wished a little that the mission wasn't so far away, and thought about Yasu. He'd made this trip before, and he was alone. It takes two days just to get there, and from what his story sounded like, he did it in almost one. Was he running all night as well? The thought was painful to Sora's heart, so he shook it off. The conversations began as the trekked across the wooded landscape, shifting from different plans for guarding the people they would be escorting, to what their favorite styles and jutsus were. Sora tried to tease Sachiko by bringing up who everyone might have a crush on, but Mokuba Sensei made his plan backfire. "If we're talking crushes, I find our cities Medical Sennin, Tsukasa Mikasa, to be quite lovely. What do you think, Sora?" flushed and flustered, Sora let that conversation die quickly.

There journey continued till just shy of sunset, when Mokuba announced they'd stop and set up camp in this area. No one argued this; it had been a very long day, and everyone was exhausted. Yasu, eager to get the camp finished fast, cast a jutsu which both shocked and impressed Sora and Sachiko, if only for a moment. It was a metal style technique, meant to erect a fortress of iron and steel in an instant. Yasu's, unfortunately, was less than grand, standing just shy of two feet of the ground. With words of encouragement from Mokuba, the trio was asked to gather the necessary components for their camp. "That was awesome, by the way." Sora said to Yasu, "Since when could you use metal style?"

"Actually before that how about some grub? Before we left I whipped up some food with the groceries Sora and Sachiko picked up. We are making good time, by this time tomorrow we should be arriving at the village. So this is a great opportunity to get a game plan in. We are here to escort Kenshin and his son Gorou back to the hidden leaf. Their shouldn't be any trouble but with the Bandits on the rise in the area its our job to provide a little extra muscle. Yasu do you have any insight or ideas?"
"Well I was thinking that we take a different path back. Its a little longer but you wont find it on any maps. My...My brother and I made it as our secret path to the village. Well he made it and I'm pretty sure all I did was get in the way...Thank you Sensei for the food, but it tastes different. Like somethings missing."

I swear to every holy deity in existence, if he makes another pun... Sora thought, pausing halfway through his bite. "beats me." "This gonna be a regular thing, Nara?" Sora asked flatly, finishing his food. "Why? Is it the, 'Root', of your frustration, right now?" The meal and conversation continued in a light tone, making everyone less stressed about the obvious "elephant in the room" situation with Yasu, and afterwards, they gathered their firewood, and set up their quick camp. "Good work, team. Yasu, Sora, take 1st watch tonight. Don't need bandit problems before we even arrive to our destination" As Sachi curled op by the fire, Mokuba Sensei found a tree to lean against and found rest relatively quickly. Sora sensed Yasu, as he moved to his metal box and sat, somewhat vigilantly at the edge of their encampment. Clapping his hands together, Sora listened as the sound reverberated through the forest, finding they were alone, and, walking over to his friend, lay on the ground next to his dog house sized fortress. "So you are a ghost metal user, and I'm bat-man," He started with a smirk, letting the comment linger with a long pause, "Dude, we make such a weird combo..." Sora heard a noise, of wind rushing through the trees, but felt nothing. Probably just a light zephyr... Staying on guard, just in case, he continued for a moment longer. "Seriously, though, We could do some crazy off-beat attacks with this. can you make a giant tuning fork?"

"That was awesome, by the way. Since when could you use metal style?"
The words rang through Yasus head. Yasu looked at the box, then at Sora, then back to the box. He repeated this pattern nineteen times before letting out a scream and falling to his knees. "NNNOOOOOOO!!!!!" Well that's it Yasu you are an idiot. Yasu turned to Sora. "I was keeping it a secret and I just blew it like an idiot!" Mokuba looked at Yasu both confused and worried. "Wait... Did you really not tell him yet?" Yasu looked up "You told me to keep it a secret so I can have an ace up my sleeve." "Ya for your enemies!" "What do you think a nemesis is!?" Mokuba rested his face in his hand. "I... I don't even know what to say to that." Yasu looked back at the ground. "I don't know, like if we got paired up in the next Exam I wanted to have something I could get him with." Yasu could feel Soras stare, he jumped up and pointed at Sora "You can see with no eyes so I dont even want to hear it from you!"

The night continued and Yasu and Sora had the first shift to keep watch. Yasu sat on his box as Sora walked over.
"So you are a ghost metal user, and I'm bat-man"
Yasu kept his focus on the stars above. I cant believe Im so out of it I just used that so willy nilly…. Yasu looked down Well I guess I will take that nick name. My old one was just stupid. I mean you get Bat-man witch sounds super cool right? The other kids used to call me turtle because of the shield on my back. I mean I was a teenaged ninja turtle... You have any idea how stupid that sounds... Now Im trying to think of a cool nickname for a ghost metal user and I got nothing." Mokuba spoke up "Iron-ic." Yasu and Sora looked over. "Alright that one was ok." Yasu waited for a response. "Wait... are you asleep still? Did... did you just do a pun in your sleep?!" Yasu took a moment to process what just happened as Sora changed the subject back to Yasu.
"Seriously, though, We could do some crazy off-beat attacks with this. can you make a giant tuning fork?"
Yasu took a moment to think. "Honestly I cant do much. Its new and extremely hard... no pun intended. I don't have that much control with it but its diffidently something an look into." Yasu leaned back and fell off the block of steel. His legs still resting on it while he lay on his back. "Sora can I ask you to do something for me? He paused as he took a deep breath "Stop looking at me like Im a lost puppy ok? I know you all are worried, but that's not helping....Look in not going to lie, Im not ok. Like not even a little bit. But I feel like not only is that ok but its extremely reasonable seeing as how we are literally going to where my whole family was killed. Im here to do the mission and that's what Im going to do and Im going to deal with all of this the best I can."

Yasu stayed up the entire night unable to sleep. His talk with Sora seemed to relax him a little but not enough to shake the memories haunting him. The team set off yet again to make their final push to the village. The wind howled through the trees as the weather took a turn. Soon the rain began, the rumbling sound of thunder came over the horizon. This seems about right... Yasu thought to himself as the team now at a running pace tried to beat the storm. The soaking wet team ran but the storm as too much. "We need to get out of this Yasu! Dose any on this look familiar? Are we close to anything?" Yasu looked around but was at a loss. Its all so different... "Yasu?" Yasu turned to Mokuba "ITS been 7 years! Im working on it!" Yasu noticed then a small path off the main road, it was the first thing that looked familiar this whole trip. "We aren't close enough to the village to make it in this storm. Fallow me!" Yasu led the team down a little mud path to a small house hidden in the trees. All the lights were off and it looked abandoned. Their is no way shes... Yasu grabbed the door and opened it. "Quick get inside we can stay he-" Yasu was interrupted by a blow to the face that sent him back. A little old women stood in the doorway, "You darn bandits get going you here me! This old lady still has some fight in her! Whos next!? Yasu rubbed is jaw as he looked up. "....Mrs. Aiko?" The women paused and looked at the poor boy. "Yasu?" Confused Yasu spoke "You... remember me?" The old women walked forward in disbelief. "Well I helped bring you into this world young man so of course I remember you! Its... Its just you're alive." Mrs. Aiko looked ath the cold wet squad that stood before her. "All of you come inside and get out of the storm, I will put the kettle on."

"What do you think a nemesis is!?...You can see with no eyes so I don't even want to hear it from you!"

Sora just stared at Yasu with a blank expression, slightly exasperated. "I'm not even going to acknowledge that..." As Mokuba Sensei rolled over and fell asleep, Sora and Yasu sat on guard for several uneventful hours, and spoke often between, to pass the time as best they could. The conversations seemed to find their way to the duos childhoods, and how even though they grew up in very different circumstances, they seemed to understand each other quite well. "I know what you mean... Akane was always mocking me for being so stupid, which wasn't fair, since i was a child, and when I finally started to improve, she mocked my strength, calling me weak. I fought hard to fix that, too, just to prove her wrong, and it cost me my sight." Sora paused here, sensing the world around him, imagining what the sky must look like tonight. I miss stars...

Shift change came, and Sora lay down to rest, curling up next to the smoldering ember of their fire, listening to the sounds of the night. Upon waking up, the team quickly broke down camp and continued on, passing the great statues at the Valley of the End, and onward to the Hidden Bamboo's outskirts. at about this point, the wind seemed to have picked up to turbulent speeds, and Sora could hear the rushing sound of a downpour quickly approaching from the distance. "Here it comes..." Sora muttered out loud, as a searing crack of thunder echoed through the air, causing Sachiko's heart to suddenly beat faster. Mokuba and Yasu shouted back and forth as they darted along the ground, as the dense pine trees slowly gave way to thickening bamboo forests.

"We aren't close enough to the village to make it in this storm. Follow me!"

As they darted down a side path, an old cottage started to come into view, with, as Sora could hear, a single heartbeat inside resided. it was an old thumping, refined by years of use, but it sounded strong. Touch old man, maybe? Sora then realized that this building was where Yasu was taking them. "Umm, there's a-" before Sora could finish, Yasu was opening the door. "You know what, nevermind." Almost on cue, a cast iron skillet came out and pegged Yasu right in the face. Sora simply smirked.

"....Mrs. Aiko?"
"Yasu?"

"Sachiko." Mokuba said in a serious tone. "Sensei?" He struggled to contain a childish smile. "Sora!" Sensei spouted more jubilantly. Sora, however, stone faced, shut him down. "No." Turned out The the heartbeat was an elderly woman, and she was clearly still willing to fight for what she owned. I like her, Sora thought with a grin. As she ushered them in out of the rain, Sachiko leaned over to Sora and whispered. "You saw her prepping to swing at whoever opened the door, didn't you? Now it was Sora who struggled to hide his grin. "Oh, hell yea." Sachi smack him on the back of the head, and they walked inside.

The team huddled around a small wooden table, soaking in the warmth of a fire that had just been started in the hearth, illuminating the room in it's faint glow, and sipping the tea that "Mrs. Akio" had given them. It was warm, and Sora was sure it was mostly honey. "Thank you, Mrs...." Mokuba said, probing for her name at the end.

"Akio. Fuzuki Akio. I'm the village midwife." As she said this, she looked at Yasu, "It's good to see this one is still aright, and is even a leaf shinobi now, even if he hasn't grown much since birth." Sora chortled, choking on his tea, but Mokuba continued unfazed. "He's become a very good young man, thank you. We're here on a mission, actually. A few leaf merchants say they're too frightened to travel back due to bandits?" Mrs. Akio became rather somber at the sound of this. "My husband is still at the village hospital working tirelessly to deal with the trouble these crooks are causing. I'll phone him to escort your merchant friends here. He should be getting a lunch break here shortly."

"Thank you again, Mrs. Fuzuki." As she walked away, Mrs. Akio patted Yasu atop his head with a warm smile. "It truly is good to see you again, my child." And with that, she walked back to call her husband. Mokuba instructed Sora to listen in, just to make sure it wasn't a trap, and then told the team that they'd wait here, and simply escort the merchants from this place. "If we're lucky, we might be able to get out of this without having to deal with a single bandit."

The night went on and the group found themselves able to relax, all but Yasu. he stood by the window and said very little as time passed. Night fell as the storm passed and everyone turned in for the night. I need to see it. Yasu snuck out of the room where everyone was bunked up. He closed the door as quietly as possible and made his way to the front door. "And where do you think you're going young man?" The voice stopped Yasu in his tracks. "Don't you ever sleep?" Yasu responded sarcastically. "Honey Im old, we never sleep." Yasu sighed. "Im sorry they aren't here yet. The storm must of kept them from making it out here. Im sure they will be here in the morning." Yasu looked down."Its not that its.... Im this close... I need to go see it." The old women looked at Yasu with pitty as she grabbed his hand. "Im not sure what good that will do. However, I wont stop you." Yasu freed his hand. The two stared at one another for a moment, Yasu turned and walked out the door.

Yasu ran through the trees. The rain had now passed and the wind wasn't as fierce. Lightning could be seen off in the distance and it lit up the sky in front of him. I just need to see it. Yasu jumped down and stood at the tree line. Im...home. Yasu walked through the overgrown field. The forest had begun to overtake the land he had worked so hard to keep clean. He approached the old beat up shack. He paused at the door as he remembered this was the last place he saw his mother. His heart pounded as he reached for the door. Swinging it open violently as he rushed inside. He paused and looked at the place he grew up in. Their was wear and tear throughout the building. Almost everything had been taken by looters or bandits. Evidence that people had used this shack for a place to rest was everywhere. Yasu slowly made it to his and his brothers old room. He stood in the middle of the room as he let himself open himself to his memories. I will get you back. I promise. Yasus center of gravity shifted as the floorboard underneath him gave way. Yasu falling to the floor and landing on his side noticed something. The floor had opened up and Yasu found a small secret stash underneath the floorboards. He moved closer and begain to sift through his findings. Hibiki you devil. Yasu had stumbled on Hibikis hidden stash. Yasu pulled out old knickknacks his brother had hidden away. What no weapons? What is this junk? Yasu paused and slowly lifted a picture. Tears ran down Yasus face as he held it. This simple family picture was the first time Yasu had seen his family in 7 years. He held it tight as he wept. I made it back guys. Im safe. Im… Im doing just fine. He wiped his eyes as he attempted to stand back up. You know what Hibiki was a paranoid weirdo, he probably has a secret stach in his secret st Yasu was both impressed and disappointed to find he was right. He lifted the bottom on the compartment up to find a second compartment with only one item in it. Yasu stood up as he held a scroll in his hand. This looks legit. He didn't make this. A chill went down Yasus spine and she suddenly turned to the window. (Extra-Sensory Perception) Someone is out there. Yasu quickly put the scroll down and jumped out the window.

Yasu froze in his tracts, completely forgetting about the intruder. Yasu had landed in front of something that he had never thought he would come across. Before him stood four small tombstones, the one directly in front of him had his name carved into it. What the hell is this?! Yasu stood up and shouted "HEY! IM ALIVE!" Yasu angary looked around for presence he felt earlier but could no longer sense anything. After a moment to calm down his brain began to function rationally again. Wait... Who the hell buried me? Yasu stood perplexed as a beam of light peaked over the treetops and hit Yasu in the face.OH NO! IF IM NOT BACK WHEN THEY SHOW UP MOKUBA IS GOING TO KILL ME! Yasu ran down the road not realizing he had been out all night. Maybe if I run along the road I will be able to spot if they have made it to the house yet. Yasu ran for about twenty minutes until he ran into Mr. Aiko.

Yasu Jumped in front of the wagon."On man I cant even begin to explain why so Im happy to see y-" Yasu was cut off my a small projectile flew towards him. (Phase-Out) The projectile passed right through Yasu and stuck into the tree behind him. "What!? How did you dodge that!?" The voice of the young child echoed in Yasus ears. Stepping forward "Well I almost didn't you psychopath! What the hell is that thing!?" The older gentleman stepped off the wagon, "Oh my word! Im so sorry! Im Kenshin and this is my son Gorou. This is just a toy I got him to make him feel safer in this situation. Are you one of the ninja we sent for?" Yasu looked at the small crossbow in the boys arm. The old Mr. Aiko took a deep breath. "Its good to see you alive and well son." Gorou spoke up "What do you mean alive and well?" Yasu wove his hands back and forth "That's a story for another day.
