Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Sunan Residences, normally a peaceful section of the village as most of the homes were that of regular citizens working in the shops of the village. The cheery old couple that ran the best noodle shop in town just lived across the street from the Teacher who taught the young children to read and write. Down the block was the Yamanaka Greenhouse which homed many species from across the lands and open to the village for educational and recreational use. There were a few shops that sold odds and ends that a Shinobi could use on the job but most of the vendors in this section of the village wanted to live a nice peaceful life. This was achievable until about a week ago. Since then trash cans were getting tipped and the contents shredded and thrown about. The local yards were getting scratched up and lawn furniture was getting ripped apart. There was a menace in the village and the Community Watch Patrol has had enough. Sending out a letter of concern to the Village Leader's they redirected the notice to the Academy where we would meet our three young protagonists.

The students will have received written instructions to meet up at a local park towards dusk. The sun was still in the desert sky but the light was beginning to diminish. The swirling colors of the sky were bright pinks and purples and even the deepest blues. The setting was perfect. Nice visibility but not too bright where the children of the community would be out playing around. Each of the participants that were assigned to this mission would only know a few basic points. The first being that the Community Watch Patrol had discovered a gang of cats that was terrorizing the village. Their job was simple. Neutralize the threat. What ever way they seemed fit. The most obvious manner though would to just capture the cats and take them to a local shelter to help rehabilitate them into nice house cats once again, but a darker soul may have other plans. The second point that they were told was that not only were they getting compensated for this mission but they were also getting graded on their ability to work as a team, even though not a single student was told who would be on their team. Little did they know that there were Academy personal scattered in the area observing them while maintaining the highest level of stealth, that years beyond the perception of the academy students. More likely than not they wouldn't even know that they were being watched as their awareness skills were still, well... umm... subpar. Nevertheless, they were assigned to this mission. The final point they were told was that this team of their may become permanent so hopefully they would get along.

The location that they were to meet at is the park's bench, so here we will wait to see where this story will go. Will our heroes save the day and capture the kitties or with the cat's stay out of the bag and humiliate the children? Let's find out!

Akagi put down the written instructions he had received earlier onto his dresser. Stretching his arms over his head, and looking outside his window at civilians passing by. Thinking to himself, Alright its about that time...I wonder who I will be with... Akagi had a rather estranged childhood and didn't have many friendships, however the ones he had were meaningful and he will always remember them. These people he was to meet today and work with might be working with Akagi for awhile, so his attitude going into this was to confident and respectful. Pulling over his long-sleeve shirt, re-wrapping his left arm, and sliding on his sandals he quickly reached for the window flaps to his room and with a quick shout, "I will be back later dad!"and with that Akagi leaped out his open window into the street.

Putting his hands into his pockets as he passed by the families walking and merchants hauling, Akagi looked up at the sky admiring its dazzling spectrum of color. Whistling a tune as he strolled down the streets of the residency taking turns to make it to the park relaxed Akagi, as he had most of the time been late or constantly active to train. This relaxing walk was filled with the voices of the commons and ambient noises like the ever present wind and rattle of caravan wheels. Each noise music to his ears as he came closing in on his destination. Taking a turn onto a park path where a breeze brought the scent of flowers to Akagi's nose as he closed his eyes and took a relaxed inhale. Continuing down the path Akagi saw a bench not to far in the distance with no one standing around his mind went into overdrive as his nerves began to strain, Am I late! Where are they! Oh shit...
Maybe I am early, that is it I will just sit there and wait...
Akagi inhaling and exhaling walked straight for the bench and sat down on the far right waiting for his teammates to arrive.

One of the things that Sen liked to do was overanalyze things as he sat down to read a few of the materials over. Meeting at the park was a simple enough instruction, but he had no idea what could be waiting for them once they got there. Being ready for anything was quite the understatement, it was virtually impossible to prepare that well. However, Sen had to try his hardest to accommodate for it, bringing a nice lunch in case things took too long. There were no real goodbyes to Sen's family, due to them already being at work once he wakes up in the morning, However, they never seem to forget to leave something behind when he's on his way out. "It's time to go then, I guess..." Sen packed up his things and put on his sandals After pulling up his long sweater to cover up his mouth, he would proceed to head to the meeting area.

As he walked, Sen would see a figure in the distance, someone that he's never met before. The kid looked young, possibly around Sen's age, which gave off the impression that he too was an academy student. "Are you here for the mission as well?"

Serra yawned as the bright luminosity penetrated her sheer, lace curtains. She sat up against the wall, and ran a hand through her disheveled hair. She peered out her window, and carefully pondered on what fate would bring to her today, on her very first assigned mission. She had another yawn before diving back into her covers, burying herself completely under her blanket. If only I could stay like this forever, she thought to herself. However with the sudden urge to relieve herself, she staggered grumpily out of her sheets. After splashing her face with water multiple times, she had established that no amount of face washing would save her baggy eyes. She was too excited to receive her first mission, and ended staying up all night, imaging random scenarios. Mother, I'm going to have my first mission today, are you proud of me? She whispered a quick prayer to her mother, before getting changed.

Serra as a young maiden, cares immensely about her appearance, and was overwhelmed about what to wear for her first official mission. She wanted to impress her fellow teammates, so she spent hours yesterday planning her attire of the day. It consisted of a coral pink dress, and white heels. Her breakfast was simple, just some toast and eggs. Are there going to be any cute guys? Serra giggled, and brushed that thought away as she headed out the door. Serra thought that aunt Kyuji would be busy, so she did not bother telling her that she would be leaving.

Serra hummed to the chirping of the birds, and breathed in the fresh aroma of the fresh flowers. She smiled and waved to passing strangers, and eventually made her way to her favourite tree. Under the tree was her favourite spot to read, and nap during a good afternoon. She placed her palm gently on the bark of the tree, and whispered a thank you to the tree for it's shelter provided to her. Serra started to walk towards the destination that the provided materials had told them to meet, it was in a bench within this park. As Serra continued down the path, she saw a man stopping abruptly, and another boy seated down on the bench. They seemed to appear around her age, so she safely assumed that they were her teammates. Serra sighed, as she was dissapointed in her fantasy of cute teammates.

"My name is Serra, you guys must be my team members. The pleasure is mine!"
She beamed happily at the two strangers.

The stage was finally set for the team to arrive. One by one the three academy students would come together. The question was whether or not this encounter would be fate's attempt to make something amazing or would it end up as a catastrophe? Regardless of the end results what happened now would effect the student's chance of bot only being an efficient team but their odds of graduation. The children in the park would not know that this was one of the many tests laid out for them by the academy as it was structured like a typical mission for the shinobi in the village whose skills were not quite useful for the more challenging tasks. Nevertheless these children had a job to do, no matter how simple it was.

A few minutes would pass allowing the student's to introduce themselves and converse about what ever topic small children in this grand village would talk about. After these moments passed a loud bang would be heard coming from a back alleyway the laid behind the neighborhood's playground. A large wall that stood about fifteen feet high was the edging border to the playground. Atop of the wall rested red terracotta shingles which contrasted against the earthy tan Adobe wall. From behind this wall would be where the bang originated. Would the children venture back and try and find the source of the disturbance or would they stay at the bench? In the end it was their decision to make!

Akagi sat with his hands together twidling his thumbs contemplating, Maybe I really am late and they left without me! I should be good- briefly cutting off his thought Akagi saw a boy approaching him from a distance, looking around the same height and age, he assumed it must have been one of his teammates. This boy gave Akagi some relief after worrying so much about his timing, and to re-affirm this Akagi heard the boy call out, "Are you here for the mission as well?" Akagi stayed seated and replied with a croaky and shy response, the complete opposite of the confident facade he wanted to portray, "Yeah, I got the same materials as you I assume... You must be my teammate, my name is Mitsunari Akagi, but you can just call me Akagi-" As he was standing up he heard the sound of a familiar voice, "My name is Serra, you guys must be my team members. The pleasure is mine!". Turning his head as he slid his hands into his pockets, the young girl with Alabaster hair, that he had seen once before. Akagi looked her up and down and blushed as he addressed his new teammates, "So this is the team? I think we will get along just fine!" Now feeling more confident and comfortable. Taking his hand out of his pockets and crossing his arms, Akagi turned his body to face both of them as they approached. Thinking to himself now with a real confidence.

I hope this is the start of something special.

"Materials? You mean the information scroll that has details about the mission which is next to nothing. " At this point, Sen didn't know anything. That honestly made him uncomfortable and on edge, but he didn't necessarily want to show that side of himself in front of his peers. Well, it was still a stretch to call them his peers at the moment, not if they didn't show themselves to be reliable when it came to the mission at hand. The next woman showed up, making it a full team of three. Sen turned to look at her and placed his hands in his pocket. "And I guess that make's three, Akagi and Serra, I'll be sure to remember that." Sen was going to introduce himself, but at the same time, he didn't really want to. It wasn't like he was a social outcast or anything. As soon as he mulled it over and made a guess that the long silences would be a bit better if they were on a more friendly basis, the explosion threw Sen's mind for a loop. He drastically looked around, on guard as if they were being attacked. However, seeing that it was far ahead of them, Sen started to walk towards the disturbance.

"I'd rather check that out than sit here waiting, even as regular academy students, we are still capable of protecting the people who can't do anything at all...." That's what Sen said as he moved along. "Feel free to wait here if you want, I won't take long..."

Serra noticed that the brunette youth that shoved his hand in his pockets, was oddly familiar. She blinked as the boy scanned her whole figure up and down, and turned her flushing face to the side upon noticing it. Is a guy checking me out? Serra had been locked away by her mother from the world of mankind, and had never experienced someone else fancying her beauty. Once he started to speak, Serra realized that he was the boy from a class she had previously attended. "Oh, I remember you, Akagi!" She smiled at the familiar face, and waved at him.

"Sen is a lovely name!"
Serra nodded at Sen while he said he would be sure to remember their names. There was a brief pause among the trio group, it felt as though Sen wanted to say something, but he never ended up saying anything. Serra decided that she wanted to break the ice by introducing herself to the team, "My name is Miroku S-" she started but was however interrupted by a sudden explosion. Sen and Akagi's expressions changed drastically, and they both looked extremely cautious. Sen started to walk towards the explosion, and said that the group was capable of protecting the people, even though they were only regular students. "Feel free to wait here if you want, I won't take long..." Sen's voice trailed as he started to leave the scenery.

"All right, take care and have fun!" Serra waved at him, beaming happily as he started to walk off the distance, Serra sat down on the bench beside where Akagi was still standing.

How the three would get along would be determined by their own interactions. Two young men and a young lady were becoming well met as the sun would slowly diminish causing the light to slowly fade. The shadows on the ground would stretch across the earth as one of the group made it clear that he was here for the mission. The band from behind the wall would seem to only draw the attention of the young boy named Sen. Was this a good thing or something that he would soon regret? The angelic beauty wished him well but that turn out to be something he wouldn't be faced with. As the group of three would slowly separate there was another sound from behind the wall, it wasn't quite a bang though. More like the sound of a thud against the ground the trio of students would have probably heard this sound before as they had trained their ninja arts but plummeted to the ground. This was the sound of a body hitting the pavement below.

Suddenly a shadow would envelop the park but it would quickly fade as what ever it was moved away from the ledge that caused the blocking of the sun. Pitter patter would circle around the trio even though they were distanced from one another. Was there someone watching them that remained invisible from sight? This confusion would soon end as a single shuriken would launch from just beyond sight and land into the earth between the three students. The shuriken was quite a bit smaller than the average shuriken used by a shinobi.

Akagi his arms crossed, turned his attention between the two as Sen rambled about how confusing the mission was. After Serra had gotten slightly closer Sen addressed the whole group establishing that we had united and become a three-man cell. About to say something else he seemed to get choked on his words, essentially swallowing them to remain serious. The mood shifted and as everyone began to close in where a long silence drew out. Giving time for Akagi to assess his teammates and attempt to get a feel of everyone's physique and combat opportunity's, although thinking ahead wasn't usually Akagi's style, he wanted to impress his new teammates. Just looking at the two barely gave Akagi enough information to work with as he didn't know either of their capabilities. As the silence dragged on Akagi also drew a blank and stopped critically thinking, and was going to address the task at hand. Before he could, Serra seemingly attempted to break the ice before a loud bang could be heard in the distance. Both Akagi and Sen became cautious looking in all directions until the bang settled. After settling, Sen began to walk toward the clash stating, "I'd rather check that out than sit here waiting, even as regular academy students, we are still capable of protecting the people who can't do anything at all...." Akagi clenched his teeth thinking to himself, He's right, you should have taken the initiative instead of just standing still. Akagi looked over and saw Serra wave Sen goodbye and sit down next to Akagi. He immediately looked back to Sen without speaking a word, Why are we still here, we should be backing him up. With that thought Akagi turned to Serra while following in the footsteps of Sen and spoke, "We can't let him have all the fun, we are a team after all!"

Akagi turned back around as another thud hit the pavement. It wasn't mistakable, that was a body. With that Akagi took a stride forth to begin running but froze when a shadow passed over the park. Looking up to where something was blocking the sun on the ledge above, a figure faded quickly, not getting any image of what it was Akagi, widened his stance as he heard a light pitter patter circling the group. Akagi still confused, began to twist his body surveying the entire park, till a small shuriken appeared from out of sight and landed in between the group. Akagi thought to himself, Whatever it was just now had an advantage on us, yet missed and landed that shuriken conveniently between us and Sen, that was a sign. Not an attack. With this thought Akagi immediately pivoted back to Serra to prevent them from splitting up anymore. Shouting to Sen who no doubt had heard the pitter patter and saw the shuriken, "I don't think we should be splitting up." Kneeling down to one knee Akagi spoke to Serra while facing her in a calm voice, "I am gonna try something, don't be alarmed." With that Akagi dashed toward the bench she was seated at, short-hopping onto the top of the bench rocking it slightly, knees completely bent. With momentum still throwing Akagi forward, he fully extended his knee's like a spring, launching himself into the air vertically, rocking the bench vigorously. Now with a better view from above Akagi could evaluate the situation, and to improve upon this, a warping energy phased from where Akagi used to be as he appeared an extra ten feet above. As his eyes adjusted to the sun Akagi scanned the area for the threat that had just tossed a shuriken at them.

[WC: 613]

"How did she know my name? Did she read my mind?" Sen was thinking to himself as to how that other girl from the group managed to know his name so easily. He had no intention of introducing himself at the moment, not knowing if there was a level of discreetness he was supposed to keep during this assignment. If someone knows your name, it might be easy to connect your name with a bunch of other things. It could really make or break a situation, and Sen had every reason to be safe for the time being. However, once again, something happened in the midst of Sen going over his thoughts. There was another thud of some kind, much similar to the last bang. However, the impact that the body had with the concrete wall had a sort of wet and squishy sound, which could make anyone squirmish if they haven't dealt with a dead body before. Fortunately for Sen, he wasn't one of those people. It wasn't like he was just some edgy teenager that was trying to act cool, he just felt that if he was alone, it would be better to react more to his natural emotions.

However, while he was among other, he didn't want to be the first to panic. It was like a contagious virus that would spread within the team, and even if they managed to overtake the feeling, it would creep up again. Sen wanted to eliminate that probability entirely, or at least, not be the cause of it. "What happened here?" Sen slowly moved towards the body with the intent of checking the pulse. There could be a chance that the person would still be alive, and that was more useful to them at the moment. However, would then notice the shuriken fall in between the group, apparently catching the attention of everyone. It was safe to say that whoever it was either had bad aim or was toying with them a bit. The person named Akagi stated that they shouldn't split up, which only made Sen backtrack a bit towards the group.

"At the same time, clumping together hinders out mobility. We can be close, but it's important to give ourselves enough space to avoid the shuriken if we have to." While Akagi proceeded with his plan, Sen walked a little closer to the bench of where Serra was and took his hands out of his pocket. "Can you fight? It's starting to become hard to believe that this is a mere test anymore...."

WC 432

Serra managed to maintain her benevolent smile throughout the event, even when Sen decided to momentarily act on his own behalf. Being blessed with powers was a great responsibility, and not for those who are merely rash fools. "We can't let him have all the fun, we are a team after all!" Serra rolled her eyes mentally, although she kept her smiling facade on. She stood up from the seat, and walked slowly towards Akagi, before whispering in his left ear. "Fun? If you think this is simply a game, you should probably just go home." Serra sighed before turning her attention back to Sen, "as ninjas, we must not let passion interfere with our assigned tasks. I don't appreciate your ignorant sense of righteousness." Serra locked her heels in place, one foot in front of the other. She was not exactly here to make friends, she wanted to find her father, and she would need to do so by becoming someone worthy.

Serra winced as the body slammed towards the ground, and a eerie feeling spread towards her body. Serra felt extremely uneasy with the corpse, and immediately looked away, covering her face with her hands. She took a deep breath, to mentally to prepare herself of whats to come, before kneeling down besides the corpse. Serra instincts kicked in, she felt like she was being watched, and scanned her surroundings vigilantly for possible peril. However, she could not see the presence of anyone else but the three, and the shuriken submerged in the dirt in the middle of the three students.

Serra sighed and sat down back onto the bench, unsure of what to do. "Can you fight? It's starting to become hard to believe that this is a mere test anymore...." Serra nodded in response, "I'm here to do my best."

The owner of the body, which had actually slipped from the top of the wall before quickly hopping off of his back and back onto his feet, has found himself in the air. Appearing quickly right in front of Mitsunari a grin smile stretched across his face. Appearing so quickly and between the Seikon's eyes and the sun caused the figure to remain shadowy and unclear, but that would soon change as a large gust of came from the mouth of the blur causing immense pressure on the airborne child in a swift downward motion. To those below this action would be over in a brief second for as soon as the figure arrived and attempted to blast the student to the earth below with a wind style ninjutsu attack the figure cloaked in darkness was gone. It's voice however became present to the party. "Oouhaha..."<i></i> The voice trailed off into laughter. "Well, well, well, what have we here? Academy Students huh? Oh, I'm really scared! So you're the ones everybody's talkin' about, ha, ha"<i></i> The voice trailing off once again even though it sounded as if it was coming from every direction. "You're jokin', you're jokin'! I can't believe my eyes! You're jokin' me, you gotta be, these can't be the right guys. They're babies, they're ugly, I don't know which is worse. I might just split a spleen now if I don't die laughing first."<i></i>

A wisp of smoke and the owner of the voice appeared. He was a small white and black cat wearing a bright yellow cloak. He had a katana attached to his back and an eye patch. Taking a few steps forward on his hind legs the cat's arms were crossed but he slowly raised a single hand to waive at the children. The manner of the waive wasn't exactly a hello, as much as dismissing motion. Essentially this cat thought he was better than these kids and it was pretty obvious he thought this, especially with how he walked with his snout pointed up. "Run along children, I don't have time to play with you filthy things."<i></i>

What am I even looking for? Akagi thought as he was almost at the apex of his jump, about to fall. Turning his head to check all angles Akagi couldn't see anything, it was like whatever was there had vanished, or so he thought. Akagi began to descend locking his eyes forward as he fell but was interrupted as an extremely quick figure appeared before him. Akagi's mind spat out, He's quick!- The sun shining into Akagi's eyes blurred his vision and only saw a glimpse of the shadow before a shot of air slammed into his chest causing his limbs to flail as the wind was knocked out of him. Akagi's arms flew forward as did his legs before the blow, pressuring with a significant downforce to shoot to the ground slamming onto his back, forcing a cloud of dust to kick up. He had impacted the ground a good ways away from the rest of the group but still within a distance to communicate. Akagi's vision was blurred still as he was dazed from the blow and the fall. He lifted his head up off of the ground and held his chest where he had been struck. Still dazed a voice echoed through Akagi's stunned mind much like a laugh. Shaking his head his senses focused but still illustrious the voice trailed on about the students but he couldn't pick out any details. Lifting his body up to one knee Akagi had recovered all of his sense's but still felt the soreness of his chest. The voice rattled to a low tune as Akagi took a stand to both of his feet, clenching his fists and holding his arms to his side.

A wisp of smoke displayed in front of the group and the owner of the voice appeared. Vision sharpening onto the figure, it became apparent that this wasn't a human. "You have got to be kidding me. A cat?" He was a small white and black cat wearing a bright yellow cloak. Along with this he had a katana draped onto his back with an eye patch covering his right eye. Taking a few steps forward as did the cat, Akagi came out of the clearing dust from his impact. Looks like this isn't just some street cat, since he is armed...And can talk. As the cat kept approaching he spoke with his nose pointed up, disrespectfully, "Run along children, I don't have time to play with you filthy things."<i></i> Now grinning Akagi, winced at the pain, but was overly excited that he was getting action so early on. Noticing the cat was provoking them, and clearly wanted to fight, Akagi was ready to do just that. Shouting to his teammates, "Looks like this guy wants to fight, so it seems its a good time to test out if we are reliable Sen." With no knowledge of either of his teammates jutsu's, Akagi reached for his sword, gripping nothing. A long silence drew from his mind... I forgot to grab it... Well I guess I will just use these! Pulling his arm back to his side Akagi clenched his fists and began to exude a reality warping energy, in his mind shouting Lets go!

"Someone is here.....but I can't see them..." This was proving to be a difficult stride for Sen, even before he was able to do anything of the sort. He looked around wildly, a bit more comfortable around the fact that the shrewd woman was here. If she had that much of a mouth on her, Sen would hope that she could be able to handle herself in a time of danger. As for the assumed enemy that was taking a stab at the young acadmey students, it didn't take long for this individual to reveal themselves. Taking a look at the creature, Sen didn't really understand what he was looking at, to begin with. What kind of modified genetic animal that can talk was this thing? He couldn't even begin to comprehend the idea of a being simply walking around other individuals like this. "There is no creature that exists in this world, so it's safe to assume that this is a summon. That means someone brought this being here as a distraction for us, something bigger is probably happening that we can yet understand, but it starts with taking it down. Or it could be something else, but there is one dynamic factor that we all can agree on. "

Cracking his knuckles and giving himself a little bit of space in order to make sure that the rest of his team members had a bit of room to move around, Sen would continue to eye the beast. " You don't belong here, regardless of whether this is an assumption or not, you attacked academy students on Suna soil. After we beat you here, you WILL be handed over to the proper authorities. The adults should know how to deal with you." Believe it or not, Sen thought that having a sense of justice was the perfect antithesis to numb fear. He was nervous on the inside, but he didn't want to show it. If Akagi can be gung-ho about things, Sen should be able to keep his cool. "Akagi, Serra, I don't know what you can do, or if you even prepared for this. But I hope you are open for us to be able to trust each other...."

As the wisp of smoke slowly dissolved into the air, a figure cloaked in a yellow cloak replaced where the fog was previously. The unknown figure stood in front of the fallen Akagi, who helped himself up immediately. Serra widened her eyes, when she realized the unidentified figure was actually a large cat, that was the size of a regular adult human. She blinked as it started to speak, as it wasn't quite what she had expected when the mission said to capture cats. Serra clenched her fist, when the cat-like humanoid insulted the three, the word ugly really offended her. She couldn't believe what the cat said, especially since how she had spend hours making sure her appearance was flawless. Was the hours spent choosing her clothes, shoes and doing her make up for nothing? How could this joke of a cat, dismiss her hard work to achieve beauty so easily?

Serra's eyes flicked to the waist of Akagi, when he seemed to reach for something. After a few failed attempts of whatever was usually there he stopped, Serra figured he must of forgotten his weapon at home. What a foolish joke of a ninja, Serra giggled to herself. Serra nodded when Sen stated that he hoped the three would be open to each other, to which Serra agreed immediately. "Yeah of course, we are a team after all!" She beamed at her teammates before taking three steps backwards. Serra was sure she could probably put up a good fight with the feline like creature, however she wanted to test the capability of her teammates, by witnessing their fighting skills first hand from the back line. There was not a reason for her to fight herself, if her teammates could take care of the unpleasant cat. She wanted to hid her potential from her teammates anyways.

Laughter erupted from what seemed to be a common house cat. Reaching up to grab the hilt of it's katana the feline would speak directly at Sen. You could tell he was by the fact that the tip of his blade was now aimed directly at the covered up boy. "I must be a summon you say? That couldn't be further from the truth."<i></i> With those would escaping from his mouth the cat would dart towards Sen brandishing it's blade to maximize the cutting edge. It would seem that the cat's intent was to cut the boy in half, but before landing in front of the child a swift blur would cause him to seemingly disappear once again. If one's eyes could track fast movement it would be seen that the cat ad actually launched itself into the air above Sen. The blade began to quiver as the cat's chakra would envelop it's body causing a current of razor sharp wind to focus on the blade. This heightened blade was sharper than that of a normal sword and unless the boy below understood elemental relations this sword would most likely cut through his defenses. Dropping to the ground in a strong assault the cat would jump backwards into a few flips, regardless if it's attack was blocked or successful.

Sliding it's katana back into it's sheath the cat would spin, creating a whirlwind that began to push the trio back. This style of ninjutsu had one weakness, and one weakness alone, and fortunately for the cat it wasn't lightning. He didn't know that this team had an electricity stylist but if he did he could eliminate all of their attacks, but there was someone on this team that had an innate advantage over this wind style kitty. Nevertheless the cat would stand up on his hind legs again. "I hope you children realize that you are going to die, here and now."<i></i>

  1. Each post will need to be at least 200 words, so please include a word count tag at the end of each post. This way we can accomplish the word requirement in at least 10 posts each. The more the merrier though.
  2. Stick with your character. If you are asked to complete a task that your character ICly can't do then get help from your teammates. Try to stay true to your character as much as possible
  3. When your progress bar is at 100% your word count has been reached!
  4. Have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions!
  5. Once your total word count hits 2000 you no longer need to state your wc each post

Everyone had frozen still and there was a mutual feeling that a battle was going to begin, it was just a matter of who would be the first to strike. This question was answered as the cat laughed at the kids mocking them, and specifically pointing out Sen's theory and debunking it. As the cats hand reached the hilt of the blade, Akagi concentrated the energy around his hands forming a coating that was built with the stuff reality is glued together with on his bandaged fists. Uneasy Akagi looked at Sen, as the cat pointed his sword toward him. Instinct, the blood rushing to Akagi's legs as his body and spirit took over and forcefully dashed toward Sen to intercept the cat. The cat's speed was unmatchable, even for Akagi, wide-eyed and heart dropping he watched as the cat could have split him open but chose a wide approach. Catching Akagi off-guard as the cat soared into the air and brought his sword down and flipped away. All this without Akagi being able to catch up. Knowing that someone in the team must be a medical-nin, Akagi knew a blow like that wouldn't have killed Sen, having missed the clash himself after his vision blurred from the dizziness of the impact earlier. Focusing his mind and body to be one Akagi clasped his hands together still sprinting toward the cat.

Spinning wildly, a large whirlwind was produced that slid Akagi back and prevented his approach. Akagi, looking into the cats eyes heard it speak, "I hope you children realize that you are going to die, here and now."<i></i> A vibration went down Akagi's spine as he felt a pressure of murderous intent. Resilient as he was scared, Akagi knew displaying fear would result in panic. "We have to fight, with everything we have got." With this Akagi slammed his hands together forming handseals at a lighting speed, topping off with an extra seal. Gritting his teeth at the pressure of the whirlwind, Akagi had chakra begin condensing around him forming a water substance. The water formed itself from his chakra into a tendril, and with the command of Akagi and the extra handseal, launched forth to where the cat had been. Had this attack connected it would most likely rip through the power of the whirlwind because of the spiral charge and drilling power it had, breaking through the barrier and potentially connecting with the cat. Had the attack failed, Akagi would use his remaining action to form his chakra onto his palms and begin spinning on his heels creating his own whirlwind spin buying his team time to think of a plan to defeat the feline enemy. Regardless of whether it hit or not, Akagi would speak his last words before resuming his focus, "I'll hold him off from here, decide how to follow-up! He likes wind jutsu so anyone with a counter to that would be much obliged!"

Regardless of whether it was true or not, the cat was already in the air with some kind of technique in order to keep it into place, doing it's best to get the drop on Sen. Sen was good, but he didn't have near instant reflexes or even had gotten used to the movement of this particular enemy, so it was a small delay before looking up. However, the water that was brought up by Akagi was more than enough of a delay to hold off the landing assault of the cat person, causing Sen to use that to his advantage and evasively move out of the way, flipping to a certain distance as he formed some hand signs and generated a thunderbolt before pulsating it in the direction of the cat's weapon. Even if it was the second option of Akagi using a wind style in order to hold off the cat, the result would still be the same of Sen spacing away a bit before counter-attacking. Since it was made of a metal property, Sen was counting on the lightning to shock the cat and then drop the weapon in order to disarm the creature and keep it separated from its main form of attack. "It's fast, but even if it attacks one of us, as long as the rest of us keeps our eyes open, there's still a chance to react in time. "

Sen would say this, already having a plan in order to keep the rest of the group attentive for the time being. For them to get through this particular situation, it was apparent that teamwork was the bigger qualifications of keeping the everyone safe from harm. "We need to separate it from it's blade...."

Serra's eyes widened in terror, as the wicked cat claimed that this last battle would be the death of the three. She took a few more steps backwards, and her heel accidentally caught a rock, causing her to slip backwards and landing heavily on her bottoms was a large thump. She tried to hide in her giggle, at her own foolishness, however she ultimately failed a high pitched squeal was let out. She immediately tried to cover it up with following up with coughs. "Balance much?" She smiled at her teammates that she hope would look back to check up on her.

Serra was out of the two's vision, and about 10 steps away from the two, who were standing relatively close to the monstrous feline. She let out a pretentious squeal before, before speaking in a faint voice. "Guys, I am so afraid, we should just surrender!" The two seemed to coordinately perfectly in synch, Sen following up right after Akagi attempted to land an attack. I guess I am forced to participate, she sighed. Serra would observe from the back lines, trying to find the right moment to strike, and staying vigilant of the jutsus being performed, waiting for a strong jutsu she could use to her own advantage, whether from the cat or her teammates.

Serra noticed that Sen performed a lightning type jutsu, which she thought was rather foolish due to it being weak against the known element the cat has casted. However, she assumed that he wanted the lightning to shock, and surprise the cat. The element of surprise, is the strongest after all. Serra immediately copied the wind style jutsu from the cat and Akagi, and started moving towards the cat, in hopes that Sen's plan had succeeded and her follow up was successful.
