Kobura had always heard the rumors about strange experiments escaping and wondering about in the Ancient Forest. She thought this to be the perfect chance to hone her fighting abilities and gain some practice against a someone that wasn't a fellow cloud Genin. After all most Genin where predictable and it was to easy to notice their pattern when fighting. This would offer her something that would surprise her and force her to fight as if her life depended on it. Kobura made her way into the Ancient Forest creeping slowly and silently allowing her eyes to search the area as her pupils moved from left to right rapidly. Nothing but silence was heard in the Ancient Forest with the only noise being was Kobura's breathing that was still faint and slow. She had traveled about 100 yards into the forest taking random turns rather than a straight path until she heard a branch behind her break.
Something had been follow Kobura and this was the first time it slipped up making noise to alert its prey before it had a chance to strike. Kobura instantly had paused all her movements listening to her surroundings attempting to pinpoint the exact location of her stalker. Her stalker did her a favor yelling out in a roar giving it's position away. Kobura quickly lept into the nearby trees jumping from branch to branch circling the creature that was stalking her. With her circling the creature it was now directly in the middle of her circle so now she could strike from any position and have the same effect. Kobura made her move after the creature roared again targeting the back of it's neck, but on contact Kobura felt a hard hide protecting it's neck.
"So it seems it has armor covering the back of its neck, I will have to for the sides of the neck or directly in the front" she thought to herself jumping backwards before jumping back into the trees.
The creature began to get agitated and seemed to be hungry and its meal was Kobura. The creature made a move that Kobura didn't think it would do, hop in the trees and follow her. The circled pattern that she was dashing in was now a random path of trying to get out of range of the creature. The creature was grower closer and closer as it seemed to be slightly faster than Kobura as it closed the ranged between them quickly. Kobura would immediately turn around jumping back into air delivering twirling kick with both her feet directly into the creatures chest causing it to it several branches before falling to the ground.
Kobura hopped down landing right in-front of the creature just as it stood up. It appeared the creature had broken its arm when falling to the ground with its aggressive nature becoming timid now only making screeches as if in pain. Kobura dropped into a fighting stance right before the creature planning her next attack but suddenly the creature let out a high pitched call and several of the similar calls had been returned. Kobura stood up after hearing more of them which could be heard making their way to their injured.
"I must get out of here before I become a meal for whatever those things are" she thought to herself leaping into the trees disappearing from the sight of the creature she had been fighting with. "Next time I come in here I need to be more prepared to finish them before they can all for help or learn to fight all of them at once." The young ninja made her way out of the Ancient Forest but not before hearing the loud roars and screeches coming from it.
