Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kaza walked up the pass, his hood hiding those refined features of his face. The robes he adorned bore the seal of the Miroku Clan. (A lotus flower surrounding the Toraono sigil with the kanji for cursed imprinted in the middle of the two.) At his side was a small dagger that had been infused with his Lords chakra. He'd walk until he saw a gate guardian stopping once they arrived he would speak in a voice that was charming and smooth. "Greetings Guardian of Kumogakure. I am an emissary here to speak to your Raikage, Saito Akira. I'm told that he's expecting me. Others your Sennin Kogami Ayumo or a shinobi named Shita Rirrakussu would be a suitable reception." he bowed respectfully. "I am Miroku Kaza and this is all I can relay to anyone other then my recipients." he would say with a chuckle smiling at as he opened up the torso part of his robe, revealing a seal of binding. Should he spill any secrets other than what he'd been ordered death awaited him. "It ensures our clans secrets, its a good deterrent for would be interceptors." he'd explain calmly naturally any shinobi understood the importance of clan secrets. Standing there he would wait to see what happened.

Kouin stood silently by the gates, his eyes planted quietly at the floor. His head pulled up slowly as he heard the sound of distant foot steps begin to approach. As the man approached the gates he made a quick analysis of the man; only a small dagger fixed to his side, more or less something more than the eye could see. He observed the mans entire being with his Rinnegan, he could see the way his chakra flowed; his mind warped back to reality as he heard the man speak his first words.

The man had wanted to speak with Saito? He nodded in silence, it was a shame they were planning a trip to Iwagakure, so Kouin had doubts that he would be able to find time for the messenger. Kouin spoke out in fluid, yet eloquent manner, I humbly apologies, but the dear Raikage is far too busy as of right now, as we're dealing with other plans at the moment, and who the fuck is this "Ayumo" you speak of? He isn't a sennin here. And for the young genin, he is probably sleeping under a tree, avoiding work as usual from what I hear around the Village. He let out a brief sigh, knowing the man wouldn't be happy with his response, and rubbed the back of his head.

Normally if we weren't so busy, nor had to deal with threats from the outside as of recently, I would escort you straight to big boss myself. Though, I'll need a little more information. He picked up a clip board which was hanging for the gates, and Kouin revealed a pen from his pocket and proceeded to to click it a few times; he scribbled down the mans name, and looked up at him and jotted down his description as well. Now, I just have a few simple questions to ask; Firstly, where is your most recently location of living, as well as your country of origin. After Kaza had responded to the question, he would carry on, Secondly, you ask for an audience with the Raikage, but established the Main Branch Sennin would be suitable as well. Though what does a genin have in the affairs of outside shinobi? This is simply for the protection of our youth. After a response, he would again jot it down, and carry on, and asked the question he never did like, Before entry, would you be willing to disarm yourself?

Kaza understood that the man before him was unable to help him, though he found his temperament a risk and wondered why he'd be given a task that involved potentially dealing with political figures. He stood listening to the mans next words perhaps Akkuma had misheard the name in battle. After all his lord had a tendency to drink when engaged in politics and battle.Although the mans manner was understandable when he stated they had suffered threats from outside the village. "I see. That explains my warm welcome." he said in a warm understanding tone. When the Guardian said he would need more information.

"Naturally I understand and will try to comply to the best of my abilities. I assure you my clan and my master are not your enemies. My birthplace is Mist I now live in Sunagakure with the rest of my clan." he said in a friendly tone if anyone could understand threats from the outside I was their clan. "Mm I understand your queries I do...perhaps it was Ayuma? Or Ayumo? I apologize if the wrong name has been given to me. But I have messages that need to be conveyed to all three. Please if you inform your Raikage that an emissary of the Miroku Clan is at your gates requesting an audience he will be most eager to meet me. I will happily wait I understand there could be dire matters that need his attention. As for the dagger I can so long as the chakra signature upon it remains there. It carries the chakra signature of my lord." he said in a friendly tone Kaza was obviously trying to be helpful.

"Sorry I almost forget your question about Rirakussu he conveyed the initial message from my lord to your Raikage. I'm sorry that's really all I can say on that matter." he said honestly for that was all that had been divulged to him. Well except that he had a message for the young man but he'd been specifically told only to relinquish that information to the Raikage or Ri himself.

"May I know who you are? It feels awkward not being able to put a name to a face. I completely understand if you would feel more comfortable not giving a foreigner your name in these troublesome times. he with a bow once more Kaza had been sent for two reasons. The first being his calm nature and the second was his keen perception. For as he analyzed the man before him he realized that he wielded the Rinnegan. "Ah so can you see the demonic and dark sage chakra infused with those eyes of yours?" he asked curiosity getting the better of him. Realizing I might be considered rude he bowed once more. "Forgive me I shouldn't have asked you about your Rinnegan..its just Kinjutsu such as yours fascinate me so." he said with a grin pulling back his hood revealing that youthful face. The boy was sixteen although he was six feet tall. Short scruffy black hair with the hood down one could see what looked to be a separate binding seal. Scars visibly apparant on his knuckles from hours of training everyday. Along with inter country trips frequently "Please tell me you aren't going to leave me to the snow? he said jokingly.

A fellow mist shinobi? He hadn't seen too many of those wandering around anymore; the only group he also had ever encountered was now missing too. The reassurance of no ill intentions was nice, but Kouin had to be cautious nevertheless; you didn't get this old as a shinobi from being reckless. He began to make the connection with the unknown name, Ayumo, Ayuma.... Does he mean Ayumu? Aaaaah, makes sense. He tapped his pen against the clipboard, and jotted down the amendment, Ah, I'm now sure you mean Ayumu, yes the vowels tend to be misheard every once in awhile, simple misunderstanding.

He made a special note of the dagger; why would the signature need to remain on the dagger? Who vital was it to his own survival? He made no visible reaction regarding it; twas a simple request, and not to hard to do. The village had specially designed safety deposit boxes for occasions like this. Finally the missing question was answered, The one who delivered the message..... Interesting.

He scribbled it down, but through the corner of his eyes, he could see the man staring at him, analyzing him. Kaza had asked him his name, though years of anbu had taught him your name was your livelihood, and should never be given out simply, I suppose you're right... You may refer to me as Akashi. That was all he would say in regards to his name; the sound of it had a nice subtle ring to it. Though as Kouin continued to scribble away, he still caught the man staring, but this time at his eyes. They were rare indeed, not many people held the power of the rinnegan in their hands, but Kouin was one of the lucky few. He took his eyes for the board, and stared at Kaza straight through his eyes, as if Kouin were trying to stare into his soul, I can see so much more... I can see the truth in all things. He said that merely because it sounded cool and mysterious, and wanted to deliver a small sense of fear, No need to apologize, I've had much worse reactions over the past week than some traveler staring at my eyes.

He clicked the pen a few times, and looked at Kaza one last time, Ok, now that all the paper work is done, I just need to see a passport for identification verification purposes, and after that, I'll need a signature and thumb print on the paper work, which is a disclosure stating you will fully cooperate with Kumogakures Laws and Regulations. Afterwards I can escort you to the required channel. If the man agreed, they would continue from there, but if he couldn't comply with the last few items, Kouin would regretfully have to turn him away. He stared at the man with a serious look, I rather hope I dont have too, these chills can be brutal to the unexpected.

Kaza smiled when the gate guardian agreed that I must have been a misunderstanding. Although he noted the mans interest in Ri passing the first message along. He couldn't help thinking of the phrase 'curiousity killed the cat. But he doubted it would be appropriate to voice that thought. Kaza blushed slightly it seemed he had been caught taking in the mans features. Although was sure the guardian would understand the need for an emissary to remember all those they encounter. Akashi was the name the shinobi had chosen to give him.

With the ninja's words of being able to see the truth of everything. "Incredible..." he couldn't wait to tell his master he'd met a wielder of the Rinnengan. Although he didn't think he'd be surprised for his lord had told him many tales of Kumogakure. However when the guardian said there was no need to apologize he had to speak. "Thank you..but my lord had been here he would disagree. An emissary shouldn't ask such questions...any risk of provoking or offending someone should be avoided." he said in a tone that suggested he was used to being told off.

"Mmm I don't have a passport as we are a nomadic clan since Mist fell. But I could give you a letter from my Lord authorising my departure from Sunagakure. This was also stamped by a Sunan guardian you'll notice they've marked it for entry once I return." he said in a business-like tone. Ruffling through his robe pocket he finally pulled out a letter that bore his Lords Seal along with that of the Sunan Gate Guard. Withdrawing a quill along with a small inkwell from his belt which held obvious supplies. A copy of the clans wax seal along with other writing tools. Kaza would sign the forms needed before also adding his thumbprint.

"I'm glad you don't have to send me back out there. Least I know I'm safe with you around...unless you wanted another body. Cause if you do I don't think you'd want me. I'm still in training..." realizing what he was saying was both foolish and paranoid he bowed in apology. "My sincerest apologies I just remembered a lesson my lord had given me. I'm sorry I'm sure my fears were unfounded." he said in a tone that suggested he would be reprimanded for those comments.

His eyes stayed locked on Kaza the entire time, he had to remain vigilant; who was to be sure the over apologizing was just a facade to make him lower his guard, and leave an opening for him to strike? He shrugged simply at the mention of his lord disagreeing, Tis' human nature to be inquisitive, if you ever stop asking questions it just makes it that much harder to learn of foreign entities.

He shook his head in modest dismay, no passport? That posed some official issues, though an officiated document serves the same purpose as any passport. He took the letter from the mans hand and held it up the light. He observed keenly at the signature signed at the bottom, and gave a brief nod, and handed the letter back to Kaza, and took his clipboard back as well.

His eyes widened a bit at the remark, and the let out a brief chuckle. Ah yes, I do need another body at some point, but I don't have to kill to obtain a new body, so you have nothing to worry about..... Or do you? He shot the man an intense, wide-eyed stare, and just started laughing, I kid, I kid.

Ignoring the recent set of apologies, Kouin scanned over the paperwork one final time and gave a brief nod, Well Miroku Kaza, everything appears to be in order.... Kouin walked over to the gate, and produced a loud bang from the outside, Open them on up! I got a emissary! The gates began to pull open, and reveal the village on the nearby horizon, By having signed these document; You Miroku Kaza, have agreed to uphold the laws and regulations set forth by Kumogakure, and failure to abide by them will either lead to your timely departure, either from this village, or from this life. His words were stone cold and official. He knew the exact trouble outsiders could cause, and he had to be sure anyone attempting entry knew the risks they run. If you have no qualms with any of this, then all I can say is. Enjoy your stay in Kumogakure. After the gates opened, Kouin would take Kaza to the Torre Celeste, but then no further as the officiated business was not of his concern.

Kaza nodded at the mans wondering I his Lord would agree with such an argument. Mentally taking note of it should he need to hold his ground with his Lord. Kaza's eyes widened with fear at the mans words and intense stare. Stumbling backwards he fell onto the freezing snow. When the guardian said he was messing with him. "Oh my..Akashi..please don't do that again. I doubt my heart would survive another scare like that." he would half chuckling half panting for dear life.

When next his new acquaintance bashed on the door demanding they open it he stared at the massive gates. A loud impressed whistle cut through the air "They are some pretty sturdy gates..." he'd say starring through to the village. It seemed Akashi was satisfied and had even agreed to take him to the Raikage. With the incredible speed one would expect from a courier he was up sprinting passed 'Akashi' as quickly as he could. Although the emissary had grabbed onto the gate guardian to drag him with him. "Akashi we need a drink and a meal before I meet your Raikage." truth be told the youth was incredibly nervous.

The winds roared as Kaza dashed through the streets attempting to tow Akashi behind him as well. "My shout with drinks and food I haven't had Either of those with good company in too long. So will you join me?" he said in a happy loud voice.

Ooc: To a drink & feed?
Attempting to leave with Kouin for drinks and feed.
We're off to see a Raikage and drink along the way.
