Mission:
Name: Yeowler Cat
Village Affiliation: Sand
Current Status: In town someplace...
Threat Level: E
Known Aliases: Dam Cat; Oh God There is So Much Blood
Description:
You would think a cat would not make its way into the BINGO book, but sadly this cat, well these cats do. Animals are sometimes used to assist a shinobi in their vocation, a noble position for a beast that requires time, dedication and a great deal of training. These cats were a failed new breed, an attempt at finding the perfect combination between fluffy and strong. Unfortunately, the breeder achieved his goal as these yellow tabbies are the fluffiest and strongest house cats in the village but they are also needlessly aggressive and are known to attack without provocation. This has made them more a liability than an asset to the community.
Type of Fighter:
Melee combat, slashing weapon (claws) and piercing weapon (teeth).
Last Seen:
Yesterday evening; these cats are nocturnal and prefer to hunt at night.
Charges:
Bloody violence on all those that cross their path
Description of Charges:
These cats escaped from captivity two weeks ago, there were only ten but they were unneutered and unspayed so their numbers will likely grow exponentially in the coming months. Since these cats are violent, we need them captured and taken from the public for the safe of civilian safety.
Another day and another mission for Akamaro. He was beginning to feel like a part of Suna. Finally he could help and prove he was a smart choice to be a shinobi. Then again... he was chasing cats this time. Akamaro let out a little sigh. His first mission was a naked woman and now he's chasing cats. He shook his head. As an academy student you really can't ask for too much. Besides... Akamaro thought to himself. These cats seem really dangerous. I mean... I have never seen an animal in the bingo book... these little critters must be tough! Moving through the streets Akamaro kept his eyes peeled for the furry critters he was chasing. Quite honestly Akamaro shouldn't even be out this late. He hadn't told his parents he was leaving and simply left the house once it was getting late. These critters were apparently nocturnal so rather than waste his time searching during the day trying to find where they slept he thought it easier to search for them during the evening when they were most active. The boy took the backpack off his back and checked to make sure he had brought all the right supplies. A sack to hold the creature and a rope to tie it shut. Plus he had stolen one of his father's kunai in case he needed to cut a hole in the bag for the critter to breath. After placing the backpack on Akamaro proceeded forward at a slow pace. He was enjoying the quiet feeling of nighttime in Sunagakure. There may not have been a sun that was rising and setting but the lack of people rushing up and down the streets was enough to give the gentle and soothing feeling of nighttime. For a moment Akamaro was at peace and had forgotten his mission. He was enjoying this personal time.
"AHHHH! OUUUCCCHHHHH! WHAT THE HELL!"
Akamaro quickly turned in the direciton of the yelling. That came from this alley! Hopefully someone isn't hurt! Akamaro quickly changed his course. Forget the mission. If someone was hurt maybe he could help. Sprinting into the alley Akamaro could see a man laying on the ground. Oh no... is he... alright? Akamaro slowly approached the man ready for the worst. As he got closer the man finally sprung up, startling Akamaro. He rubbed his hand on his face where Akamaro could see 3 bright red scratches. "Damn cat!" He shouted rubbing his face with one hand and shaking a fist in the air with the other. "Little bastard took my food too..." The cat was responsible! Perfect timing for Akamaro. "Where did that cat go sir? Did you see?" With the hand not rubbing his face the man pointed upward. "It ran up. I think it's on the rooftops." Akamaro looked upwards. Well noone said this would be easy. Swiftly Akamaro headed for a set of stairs nearby so he could reach the roof easier. Turning back to the man he shouted. "I'll get that cat sir don't you worry." The man returned to rubbing his face. "Good." He said under his breath. "Because now I have no dinner..."
Reaching the top of the stairs Akamaro was only a few feet from the roof top. He needed to get just a bit higher to reach. He looked at the half wall next to him and figured he could stand there and then jump to reach the roof top. It's a good thing I have been practicing my Chakra Control. Akamaro took a moment and focused his chakra to his feet. He was about 3 stories high so falling off the ledge from here really wouldn't be fun. Positioning himself carefully on the ledge Akamaro turned around and faced the rooftop. The boy did a quick countdown in his head to prepare himself. 3... 2... 1... Now! Apllying as much force to his feet as he could Akamaro leapt towards the roof. Grabbing with his arms Akamaro pulled with all his strength to get his body onto the rooftop. After a few seconds of struggling Akamaro had pulled himself up. Whew... wasn't so bad. He stood up and brushed some of the dust and dirt off his clothes. As he as brushed himself off he noticed a cat sitting on a ledge across from him. He could tell the cat was in the middle of chewing on his food when he saw Akamaro. The two froze and locked gazes. A fish sat neatly in the cats jaw. Alright... I need to catch this little guy before he runs away. Akamaro inched himself forward very slowly. He tiptoed forward while speaking in a gentle and soft voice to the kitty. "Don't worry little guy... I'm not here to hurt you." He wasd now getting very close to the cat. A big leap and maybe he could catch it in his arms. The boy bent his knees and prepared himself to catch the cat. Here... we... go... The boy jumped forward at the cat with a smile on his face. He had surprised it. But his smile quickly was wiped from his face. The cat didn't try to run from Akamaro. It had dropped the fish from its mouth and was leaping at him in retaliation! "Wait... wait!"
SWIPE! SWIPE! SWIPE! SWIPE! SWIPE!
THUD!
Akamaro hit the ground. The cat stood next to his head. 3 of the cats swipes had left marks on Akamaros face and the other two had ripped his shirt leaving claw marks on his chest. Ow... damn... cat... He stayed on the roof for a moment recuperating. The damn animal had outplayed him. The cat strut triumphantly to his meal and picked it back up between its teeth. With a cocky look back at Akamaro the cat rushed forward to the edge of the roof and leaped forward. With the grace only a cat could have the animal soared through the air and landed softly on the adjacent rooftop. "This cat has the soul of a Shinobi... that was impressive." The cat turned after landing and stared at the boy once more. Akamaro could swear he saw a smile form on the creatures face. "Are you mocking me!" He yelled out. Am I really arguing with a cat!? This little guy was really testing Akamaros sanity. Standing up Akamaro looked at the distance between the two rooftops. Can I even make this jump? Akamaro looked down at the ground. Three stories was quite a fall if he messed up. Shaking his head Akamaro removed the doubts from his mind. Free my mind... Free my mind. Stepping back Akamaro focused on the jump. He could do this he knew it. Sprinting forward Akamaro sped towards the ledge. As he reached the end the child jumped with all the strength in his legs. As he sailed through the air Akamaro felt like a bird... well he had only read about them but he assumed this was what they felt like. He was going to make the jump!
But nobody makes their first rooftop jump.
The boy's body started to drop like a weight and he could quickly see he wasn't going to make the jump. THINK AKAMARO! SAVE YOURSELF! As quickly as he could Akamaro searched for a way to save his legs from breaking on impact. Luckily there was a ledge of someones window that Akamaro thought he could reach. Focusing as much chakra to his hands as he could the young student stretched his arms out to grab the ledge. His hands and fingers landed found the ledge and Akamaro tensed his muscles to hold himself on the side of the building. That... was close... Gazing upwards Akamaro looked to the rooftop. The cat was leaning its head over the edge. He had the fish between his mouth and placed it on the ledge. After a few bites the cat took its paw and gently pushed the fish over the ledge. "DON'T YOU DA--" But before the boy could finish the fish landed directly on his face. Akamaro shook his head to free himself of the cat's stinky dinner. The little bastard is toying with me.
Using his strength Akamaro pulled himself up so his feet barely rested on the ledge. He was able to stand and get his hands on the rooftop to pull himself up. After reaching the roof he saw the cat sitting calm and licking his paws. You want to play? Let's play! Akamaro performed the handsigns he was now getting used to using. Quickly focusing his chakra to his hand Akamaro released the moisture that was building up in his palm. The stream of water that shot forward slammed into the cat pushing it onto its back. In seconds it was back on its feet. "HAHAHA! Who is laughing no--" The boy stopped talking. The once calm look on the cats face was replaced with anger. Such anger Akamaro could swear this was the devils eyes he was looking into. "Let's just relax here for a minute..." But it was too late. The wet and dripping cat was speeding towards Akamaro. Quickly the boy removed his backpack. He only had a moment before the cat would be attached to his face. Akamaro scrambled for the sack he had brought to restrain the creature. He felt the sacks material between his hands and brought the opening up in front of his face. The cat flew into the sack and hit the boy in the face knocking him over onto his back. Now Akamaro fumbled to find the rope he brought to tie the sack. A little cat paw had made its way out of the sacks opening and was clawing at Akamaros arms leaving scratches and blood. Finally he found the rope and secured the top of the sack. The little devil was finally contained.
A constant hissing could be heard from the sack. The little guy was not happy. Akamaro made sure he was holding the bag tight so it couldn't escape. "Sorry little dude. I won this round." As Akamaro put his backpack on he could hear something on the far end of the roof. A horrible sight lay before him. Five cats, all with the same devilish stare, stood and stared at Akamaro. The cat in his bag continued to hiss and Akamaro could feel his heart rate increase. This... is bad. Wasting no time Akamaro performed handsigns and released a mist from his mouth onto the rooftop. This would buy him time. Turning away from the cats Akamaro leapt down the rooftop onto some stairs and bolted out of the area before the cats murdered him on the spot.
Cut and bloody Akamaro made his way to the mission office. The notice asked for one cat... he didn't need to get himself killed capturing more...
